NFL reporter Chris Mortensen, who covered football for decades and was one of the most recognizable reporters on TV, is dead.

Chris died Sunday morning according to his longtime employer, ESPN. The cause of death is unclear.

Mortensen was a staple of ESPN's coverage of the NFL for decades ... most famous for his TV segments, dubbed the Mort Report.

Chris was often featured on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown," "SportsCenter" and "Monday Night Football" ... in addition to writing and doing radio hits at ESPN.

Mortensen had to step away from TV in 2016, when he revealed he was battling stage 4 throat cancer. He ultimately returned to work at ESPN, but in September 2023 he retired from the network.

"Mort was widely respected as an industry pioneer and universally beloved as a supportive, hard-working teammate," ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro says. "He covered the NFL with extraordinary skill and passion, and was at the top of his field for decades. He will truly be missed by colleagues and fans, and our hearts and thoughts are with his loved ones."

Chris was 72.

1:18 PM PT -- A rep for Bhad Bhabie tells TMZ ... "Danielle was just trying to have a relaxing dinner with her friends as she is very pregnant. The issue was that these drunk women were filming Danielle and her party and then started yelling stuff at them."

Danielle's rep adds ... "Danielle was arguing with her table because her boyfriend was trying to be protective and stop these people from harassing them and filming them. Danielle wanted her friends to just let it go but the restaurant didn't get involved and it escalated."

Danielle Bregoli isn't gonna let a little thing like pregnancy tame her Bhad Bhabie ways -- her entourage squared off with another table during a night on the town ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained this video showing the end of the Saturday night scrap ... 2 women come face-to-face screaming at each other, hurling F-bombs with fists up, before one of them is held back and hauled out of Toca Madera, a West Hollywood restaurant.

As heated as things got, there's no visual evidence Danielle ever got involved in the worst of the fight -- but folks in the restaurant tell us what sparked the whole incident.

Multiple witnesses say the rapper was arguing with her boyfriend/baby daddy Le Vaughn while they were eating dinner and allegedly slapped him. While they were arguing, we're told someone at Danielle's table noticed someone at an adjacent table recording BB and Le's dispute -- and that's why the fight, seen in the video, broke out.

At the end of the video, you can see Bhad Bhabie -- who has a short pixie haircut now -- getting up from her table, ironically, very calmly and heading for the exit with her man ... following after their friends who'd been pulled away from the fight.

Danielle announced back in December that she and Le Vaughn were expecting. Seeing how she opted out of an all-out brawl last night ... you'd have to say pending motherhood has mellowed her.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are doing the long-distance thing ... she's singing in Singapore, and even though he's a world away in Philadelphia, he's close to her hometown.

The Super Bowl champ is hanging out in Philly, where his older brother and podcast partner Jason Kelce lives with his family.

Travis got a fresh cut in the City of Brotherly Love, courtesy of celebrity barber Willis Orengo ... who documented their hangout for social media.

Seems Travis has a new haircut and a new nickname too ... Willis is calling Taylor's boyfriend "the big Yeti." They've got to be super close, Willis traveled from NYC to Philly just to give Travis his fresh cut.

Meanwhile, Taylor's overseas doing her thing in Singapore ... where she's playing to sold-out venues in Asia ... but not without some controversy.

Taylor made a couple big announcements at her Sunday show in Singapore ... showing off the cover art for her upcoming album. "The Tortured Poets Department," and announcing a bonus track, "The Black Dog."

Tay Tay's in Singapore all week performing ... and then she takes a two-month break before getting back after it in May in Paris ... so it will be interesting to see if Travis comes to any of her shows in Asia, or hangs back in the States.

Remember ... Travis hung out with Taylor in Australia last month and went to one of her shows before jetting back to Las Vegas to party with his Chiefs teammates.

If Travis wants to check out Taylor's hometown while he's in Pennsylvania ... her childhood home in Wyomissing is just a little over an hour drive away.

The numbers are in and it's looking good for Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya at the box office ... because the 'Dune' sequel made big money.

The running total for opening weekend for "Dune: Part Two" stands at $81.5 million at the domestic box office ... a pretty strong figure.

Remember ... the movie was projected to rake in between $76 million to $80 million ... so 'Dune 2' is outperforming so far.

The sci-fi movie's predecessor made $41 million during opening weekend back in 2021, so the sequel almost doubled that figure.

Internationally, "Dune: Part 2" is doing pretty well too ... bringing in another $97 million to sweeten the global pot to $178 million. Not bad.

The solid opening weekend follows some pent-up excitement for 'Dune 2' ... folks were looking forward to seeing the new stars added to the mix, like Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walker and Léa Seydoux ... just to name a few.

Timothée, Zendaya and the rest of the star-studded cast did a great job promoting the film and drumming up excitement ... who can forget Zendaya's revealing chrome body suit from the London premiere.

Move over Pete Maravich, make way for Caitlin Clark ... there's a new all-time leading scorer in college basketball.

Caitlin just surpassed Pistol Pete as the leading scorer in NCAA Division I hoops, draining a couple free throws at the end of the first half of Sunday's game between her Iowa Hawkeyes and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

CC entered the game needing 18 points to pass Pete, and Iowa fans went bananas when she sank two free throws to break the longstanding record.

There's still a second half to play, so Caitlin's going to put more distance between herself and Pete, who scored 3,667 points at Louisiana State University way back in the day.

Caitlin was already the greatest scorer in women's college basketball history, breaking the women's scoring record last month when she eclipsed Kelsey Plum's record of 3,527 points ... and now she stands above the rest in all of college basketball.

Some thought Pete's record would never be broken ... and he did it all in 3 seasons from 1967 to 1970 at LSU, before freshman played and before the 3-point shot was a thing.

Caitlin broke the record in her final home game, with former WNBA MVP Maya Moore in attendance.

CC's still got a lot more hoops to play ... Iowa plays in the Big 10 conference tournament before the NCAA tournament ... so expect a lot more buckets from Caitlin.

When she's done rewriting the college record books in a few weeks, Caitlin will set her sights on a new chapter ... she's already declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Tori Spelling and her estranged husband Dean McDermott aren't reunited as a couple, but they're at least on public speaking terms again ... based on some new pics.

The exes were together in a park in Agoura Hills, CA -- it's the first time they've been seen photographed together in nearly a year. Both of them were dressed very casually, and most of the convo seemed pretty chill.

However, there were also what seemed like some tense moments during their chat. Tori and Dean have 5 kids together, so co-parenting issues were likely among the things they discussed.

But, there's plenty more for them to catch up about, too. For instance, Dean moving on ... he's reportedly living with new GF Lily Calo ... while Tori and the kids have moved into a new home, which reportedly rents for $15k/month.

They announced their separation last summer on social media, ending 17 years of marriage.

Since then, Dean has spent time in a sober living facility ... after admitting last November he'd had a drunken altercation with Tori.

One of the 'Real Housewives' is saying the quiet part out loud ... Heather Gay is calling BS on all the talk about body positivity -- flat out saying, "It is better not to be overweight."

The "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" cast member went off about weight issues during a sit down with "20/20" co-anchor and ABC senior national affairs correspondent, Deborah Roberts.

In the Friday night "Impact x Nightline" segment, Heather fired back at critics of Ozempic and other weight loss meds. She said, "I’ve sold out, I’ve given up the banner of you know, accept yourself. And it’s disappointing and sad to know that body positivity was all a big lie. It is better not to be overweight.”

She also admitted, "I didn’t want to show up at another party and see all of my friends 20 pounds thinner and just be resentful."

Once she started shedding pounds, Heather says she noticed treating her differently -- "For the first time, I was being valued by my castmates, by the public, in a way that I had never been valued before. And that felt to me … sad.”

Her overall message here is ... people give a lot of lip service to the idea of body positivity, but the reality is society loves you more when you're in better shape.

Fact is, even the supremely accomplished Oprah Winfrey has said how much better she feels having dropped at least 40 lbs while using medication.

Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Boy George and several other celebs are publicly embracing the use of weight loss meds -- and, for her part, Heather's saying why the hell wouldn't you??

It's not quite sleeping with the enemy, but Jamie Lynn Spears is raising some eyebrows by attending Christina Aguilera's concert Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Of course, Britney Spears' longtime nemesis currently has a residency at Voltaire at the Venetian in Sin City, and there are pics and videos making the rounds on social media ... purportedly showing Brit's kid sis at the show.

If Jamie Lynn got her tickets like a normie ... it was no easy feat. Christina's show is sold out, unless you go through a scalping site. Some of those tickets are going for up to $1500.

But, since Brit and Xtina go way back -- to their Mickey Mouse Club days -- it's likely Jamie Lynn might have been able to pull a few stings.

The question is ... how will Britney feel about it? There were signs a few months ago, she was making peace with family members -- including Jamie Lynn and their mother, Lynn.

It's unclear where they stand right now, but hopefully she doesn't view Jamie Lynn's choice of entertainment as a diss.

While the rivalry between the pop princesses was mostly in the heads of fans, Brit has definitely felt some sorta way about Christina in the past.

Sydney Sweeney's milking Glen Powell for all he's worth -- the rumor about them banging was front and center as she hosted 'SNL' ... with an assist from Glen, of course.

Sweeney hosted "Saturday Night Live" this week, and during her opening monologue, she addressed all the talk about her supposed romance with Powell in Australia during the 2023 shoot for their rom-com, "Anyone But You."

Sweeney told the SNL audience the "craziest rumor" about her was that she had this affair with Powell, pointing out, "That's obviously not true" ... declaring her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, produced the film, and, as such, was there with her during filming.

Then she set up a gag, saying her Jonathan was there in the 'SNL' studio to support her -- but when the camera cut to him ... you-know-who was sitting in the studio.

The monologue was just the first time Glen would appear on camera ... he also made a cameo later in the show, as Sydney's boss -- with whom she was cheating.

Clearly, the 'SNL' writers found Sydney and Glen's alleged romance interesting enough to lean on it throughout the show -- and good on GP for playing along and showing up in-studio for the jokes.

However, Syd's real-life guy, the long-suffering Davino, was actually in the studio all night ... he just remained behind the scenes.

Jonathan was right by Sydney's side, though, when they strolled into the 'SNL' afterparty. The couple held hands as they entered. Musical act for the night, Kacey Musgraves was also there, along with Glen and other cast members.

For the record, the "Euphoria" actress got engaged in 2022 to Davino -- a restaurateur -- after the couple dated for about 4 years.

But, while Sweeney was on the "Anyone" set, she looked very cozy with Powell in paparazzi photos taken on the beach in Australia, sparking the chatter about their alleged affair.

The pair also posed together at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, staring deeply into each other's eyes.

Mark Dodson, the actor who gave voice to some of the little creatures in "Gremlins," has died ... TMZ has learned.

The voice actor also brought to life characters for "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," "Day of the Dead" and countless video games -- and still made appearances at fan conferences. In fact, Mark's daughter tells TMZ he died while in Evansville, Indiana, to attend Horror Con.

She says Mark had flown to Indiana for the event, and checked into his hotel ... and that's where he suffered a "massive heart attack" while sleeping.

Dodson's first big break in Hollywood came in 1983 -- he was the voice of Salacious Crumb, the little creature with the high-pitched voice that was always seated dangerously close to Jabba the Hut in 'Return of the Jedi.'

And, as it turned out, 'Star Wars' opened the door for another iconic role the next year.

In "Gremlins," Mark was the voice of Mogwai ... and, inadvertently, had kids everywhere -- who saw the movie in 1984 -- imitating his voice.

Mark worked continuously for several decades in film, video games, radio and commercials. As his rep tells us, Mark added "his unique voice and sound to each character and script he touched."

His daughter, Ciara, says Mark "never ceased making me proud" and his legacy will live on through his grandchildren and her.

Cops are looking into allegations of neglect regarding the care of "Good Times" star John Amos and the investigation is just getting started ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us a case here in Los Angeles has been opened to look into claims hurled by Amos' daughter, Shannon, who we're told recently called Adult Protective Services to allege her father was battling health issues ... and her brother, K.C., wasn't getting him proper care.

Our sources say APS took a report based on what she claimed and then sent the report over to the LAPD ... which then launched an investigation.

We're told cops are familiar with all the back-and-forth claims between Shannon and K.C. -- a lot of the bad blood between John's kids has been widely publicized -- but the investigation will focus on these new allegations, specifically.

There's also this development ... TMZ has learned the beloved actor was recently in the hospital, although we were told it was just for a routine checkup and that nothing serious was wrong with him. We even got on the phone briefly with John, who assured us he was fine.

This is not the headline NBA Clippers owner Steve Ballmer envisioned when he sunk $2 billion into building a brand new state-of-the-art arena.

Cops are on the lookout for the 2 male teenagers who broke into the Intuit Dome -- which is still under construction in Inglewood, CA -- and ran around the place like they owned it ... shooting hoops, climbing on scaffolding and spraying fire extinguishers.

They pulled off the brazen caper last week, recording the whole thing ... and proudly posted it on TikTok, which is likely what will get them busted.

The video shows them climbing a construction crew's ladder at night to gain entry, and then strolling around the empty hallways and bleachers. When they found an unfinished basketball court, they decided to take a few shots.

They did all of this while showing their faces, and, as a result, Inglewood Mayor B has since identified the pair and their parents. Butts told ABC 7, "It will be very clear to these young men -- and to people who are TikTok followers -- that you have a moment of TikTok greatness followed by a little bit of misery. And so we don’t play around with these things.”

It's unclear if cops have made contact with the suspects yet, or what their punishment might be.

Pro wrestling legend Sting is hanging up his boots after Sunday's big match at AEW Revolution ... a moment so special, tag team partner Darby Allin says it's actually the highlight of his young, but impressive, career -- and he's not even the dude retiring!

"Oh, without a doubt. Without a doubt, it's the biggest [match of my career]," Allen told us, adding, "He's been around longer than I've been alive. Like on top of the wrestling. It's really cool to be a part of it and definitely my biggest match and I'm not taking anything for granted. I'm so grateful for this opportunity, and I'll stop at nothing to prove my loyalty."

Of course, Sting is one of the most legendary wrestlers of all time. Period. WCW, TNA, WWE, and now AEW ... Sting was the man in all the top promotions. He's a WWE and TNA Hall of Famer. He's also won just about every title under the sun.

Wrestling fans have been anticipating the match ... Sting and Darby are fighting The Young Bucks, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson Sunday night in Greensboro, NC.

"I try not to make it about myself at all. I just want to make sure this man's career ends with the respect it deserves, and it's cool to be a part of the end," Darby said of the meaningfulness of the moment.

"I feel like the biggest part of a wrestler's career is the end. If you s*** the bed in the end, people are always gonna remember that. 'Aw, he should've hung up his boots years ago.' But I convinced Sting to come back and wrestle, so I feel it's my duty to make sure that he doesn't embarrass himself."

Timothée Chalamet may just have a future in music ... or, at least, that's what famed film score composer Hans Zimmer tells TMZ.

We caught up with the 66-year-old Oscar winner in NYC ... and HZ had high praise for Timothée's musical mind after the two worked on the new 'Dune' films. As Hans tells us ... he had TC -- who plays leading man Paul Atreides in "Dune: Part Two" -- weigh in on the upcoming sci-fi flick's score ... and the 28-year-old actor "knows his stuff."

Hans ... who actually first worked with TC on Christopher Nolan's 2014 "Interstellar" film ... hinted he was open to co-composing with the A-lister on a future project -- but the ball, or baton rather, is in Timothée's hand.

Timothée's no stranger to music -- you'll recall, the "Wonka" star's singing chops were front and center for the "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" prequel film last year. Kylie Jenner's boyfriend also went viral in 2017 for rapping as his alter-ego "Timmy Tim" in resurfaced videos from his high school days.

HZ didn't just have love for Timothée ... as he also shouted out leading lady Zendaya's musical instincts. But, that isn't new information -- the former Disney Channel star collaborated with Labrinth on the soulful song "All for Us" for season 1 of HBO's "Euphoria."

Zendaya's looks over the years have been EUPHORIC!
