Surprise!! -- Post Malone will show off his acting chops in the reimagined "Road House" movie ... and judging by what Jake Gyllenhaal had to say about the casting, the dude is a natural in front of the camera.

The Academy Award nominee revealed the "Rockstar" crooner's involvement in the upcoming Prime Video project on Tuesday ... showing Posty all bloodied up on set.

It's an announcement that is catching folks off-guard -- Malone wasn't featured in the trailer that dropped last month ... but he's getting the full treatment now.

In fact, PV released a poster image of Malone -- real name Austin Post -- in a fighting pose for the promo ... featuring the caption, "Come and get it."

Gyllenhaal clearly thinks highly of what his costar did in the movie ... showering him in praise on social media.

"A man of many talents," Jake said minutes ago. "To say it was a pleasure working together is an understatement. Welcome to the #roadhouse @postmalone!"

It won't be the first time fans get to see Posty in Hollywood -- he's also done work with Jason Statham and Mark Wahlberg in the past ... but this seems like his biggest role to date.

The flick is proving to have a ton of star power -- UFC superstar Conor McGregor got a lot of shine in the trailer as his villainous character, "Knox" ... and names like Darren Barnet, Lukas Gage, Jessica Williams and Daniela Melchior landed roles as well.

Kevin Durant's career portfolio is expanding into hip hop music ... the NBA superstar appears to have shot a new music video with rapper Stalley, and he's delivering autobiographical bars!!!

TMZ Hip Hop obtained a video of KD and Stalley vibin' to an audio recording of them while watching basketball highlights on TV ... and the NBA All-Star starter sounds like he's got a lot to get off his chest.

The raps appear to be a classic back-and-forth ... Stalley opens the track by championing his own independent hustle and stress-release practices.

KD eulogizes his late grandmother ... "RIP to Barbara Davis/We hit another layer/When she speak to me, it's like she saying prayers."

He was just named as a starter in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, his 14th appearance, but but gripes about aging players getting discriminated against ... by comparing himself to Randy Moss during the Hall of Fame wide receiver's time with the Oakland Raiders.

Stalley, the Ohio-born rapper, had stints playing college hoops and was also on Rick Ross' Maybach Music label -- so, it's ideal he and KD would spark up a friendship.

KD's worn his hip hop fandom on his sleeve his entire b-ball career and the love has been reciprocated ... Drake, J. Cole, Freddie Gibbs, Kash Doll and several other rap stars have interacted with him, and name-checked him in songs.

Andrew Keegan is addressing rumors he's a cult leader ... dismissing it all as nothing but clickbait and saying all he'd done was foster a cool community for people to gather in.

The "10 Things I Hate About You" star gave the rundown on "Pod Meets World" ... explaining he decided to start a community center named Full Circle in 2014 to do positive things after getting deeply immersed in Venice Beach's culture when moving there in his 30s.

However, his intentions were misconstrued ... that's what AK is saying, anyway. He explains he was shocked to learn he'd been anointed a cult leader in media reports at the time -- this after journos visited him to see what extracurricular activities he was up to amid his acting career.

Not long after, a startling Vice article surfaced, entitled, "One of the Stars of '10 Things I Hate About You' Started a Religion." In the article, the journalist claimed Andrew was known as the leader who had the "ultimate say on all things" ... adding they were greeted by a man named Third Eye and found themselves in the inner circle of "enlightened" members.

Andrew now says he probably could've done with some media training back then, but he's adamant there was no cult-leading going on, as was implied. In fact, he says it was the opposite ... FC was just a place for a bunch of people to get together for a good time.

It goes without saying, Andrew still recalls his time with FC fondly ... although, he says the only thing he regrets in hindsight is the group's name.

The actor acknowledges that Full Circle could've led to some misinterpretations over its intentions ... even though his message was innocent enough at the time, according to him.

Hollywood's biggest movie stars mixed, mingled and munched at a famous hotel ahead of the upcoming Academy Awards ... and there was a heavy "Barbie" contingent.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were among the "Barbie" stars in attendance Monday at the annual Oscar nominees luncheon at The Beverly Hilton.

Billie Eilish and Finneas were also representing "Barbie" in Bev Hills ... the musicians are up for the Oscar for Best Original Song for "What Was I Made For?" and they seem to be the team to beat after their song won twice at the Grammys

"Barbie" director Greta Gerwig was there too ... rubbing elbows with other famous directors like Steven Spielberg and "Oppenheimer" honcho Martin Scorsese.

Steven's nominated for his work as a producer on Bradley Cooper's Leonard Bernstein biopic "Maestro," which is nominated for seven Academy Awards.

Bradley directed and starred in the film and he's up for Best Actor ... so naturally he made sure to chat with some of the other stars in his category, like "American Fiction" leading man Jeffrey Wright.

We got our hands on a new video clip featuring Lupita and Brent going over a table read where the "Clouded" singer openly admits his attraction to her has become a distraction. BTW, this is a scene from Brent's new music video/short film 'Wy@,' which will be out tomorrow.

Anyway, watch the clip -- Lupita checks him about professionalism in the workplace ... but the 4th wall appears to break under the pressure of the apparent sexual tensions.

With just a day before Valentine's Day, ya gotta wonder how Lupita's real-life BF, Joshua Jackson feels about it. Remember, they made their relationship public back in December -- and as far as we know, they're still together.

The actress was among a handful of stars who showed up to Delilah in WeHo Monday night -- this on the heels of the big news that her LuckyChap production company had inked a first-look deal with the studio ... promising she'll have another crack at some big movies.

The contract she signed with WB amounts to a multi-year agreement to collaborate on future feature films -- this, of course, on the heels of "Barbie," a bona fide money-maker for them.

To ring in the big news ... MR hosted a huge bash, where her fellow A-listers rolled through to congratulate her. Just to name a few ... Glen Powell, Michelle Rodriguez, America Ferrera, Rose Byrne, Pierce Brosnan, Steven Yeun, Zooey Deschanel, Jonathan Scott, Shailene Woodley, J.J. Abrams and others.

BTW, Margot's company -- which she heads up alongside her husband, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara -- has already produced a number of great films ... and has acquired the rights to others.

LuckyChap has been behind movies like "I, Tonya," 'Birds of Prey,' "Promising Young Woman," "Saltburn" ... and even some TV shows too. And yes, they helped produce "Barbie" too.

Taylor Swift not only hit the club with Travis Kelce and co. after the Super Bowl -- but she was there with her parents too ... something she caught on camera and posted online.

The pop star threw up some behind-the-scenes footage Monday night showing off what she had gotten up to the night prior, this after the Chiefs' big win in Vegas ... after which Tay Tay and the team hit the town and painted the town red at after-parties.

As it turns out ... Taylor brought along her mom and dad -- Scott and Andrea -- for at least part of the festivities, something she put on display in an awesome TikTok video.

It's a rare upload for T-Swift (more on this later) and it shows her sitting in a private section of what looks to be Zouk at Resorts World behind the DJ booth ... as she pans to her left and records her parents sitting on the couch next to her, sippin' drinks and taking it all in.

She also recorded Travis who crossed right in front of her ... and he made a goofy face.

Taylor wrote ... "It's a friends and family party they said." She captioned her TikTok further by adding ... "accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life." So far, her video has over 18 million views, with lots of likes.

It's interesting for a couple reasons -- for starters, this appears to be the first time Taylor has posted Travis on her official social accounts, so she's 100% claiming him now as the BF.

More importantly, though, this is a major change for Taylor ... as she normally doesn't give much of a peek into her private life. Until now, she'd hardly ever shared something like this.

Just goes to show ... she seems to be a whole new person with Mr. Kelce by her side.

There's a new 'Spider-Man' movie out this week that's all about the ladies -- the premiere for which runs the risk of getting you stuck on our page ... 'cause they were oozing sex appeal.

Of course, we're talking about "Madame Web"-- which stars Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts and other female actors who lead the charge in fighting bad guys on the big screen. In front of cameras, though ... they were also leaving a mark.

Sydney, specifically, looked gorgeous ... with a body-hugging dress that was web-themed, and which fit her like a glove. Yeah, she was kinda pouring out of this thing -- tastefully, that is.

Dakota herself also turned heads with her outfit -- she had on this mesh/see-through gown that made it seem like she was completely naked underneath ... even though, she really wasn't. On the contrary, she had on a skin-colored leotard beneath her main dress.

Still, she was definitely allowing people's imagination to run wild ... and on both counts -- between Sydney and Dakota -- they certainly made a splash for their superhero flick.

Other cast members showed off their sweet duds as well ... Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Adam Scott, Zosia Mamet and more. Everyone was dressed to the nines.

And, while everyone looked stunning ... it bears repeating, SS and DJ stole the show here.

Anyway, "Madame Web" hits theaters starting Wednesday -- but the box office projections for the movie are looking a little grim from the outset ... word is, it very well may flop.

Kendall Jenner was out and about in Vegas this past weekend to enjoy the Super Bowl -- but it looks like one of her exes made it into her suite as well ... and it wasn't Bad Bunny.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed a photo that Michael Rubin's daughter, Kylie, posted on her Insta Story from Sunday ... which shows her sitting next to socialite Will Makris (the dude sleeping in Kim Kardashian's suite) -- and while she was cracking jokes ... others were zooming in on her pic.

The reason for the focus ... Devin Booker was chillin' in the back, seemingly trying to be low-key and enjoy his food -- but certainly sticking out like a sore thumb regardless.

There didn't seem to be anyone else around him in this photo, but the fact he was even there at all -- in the KarJenner suite, no less -- caught the attention of many ... and for good reason. Obviously, he's one of Kendall's many famous exes, and a more recent one at that.

No explicit evidence (yet) that he was hobnobbing with Kendall specifically, but ya gotta figure he was there because of her. Even more fascinating ... Bunny was also in the building.

Photos have been circulating of the Puerto Rican rapper/singer hanging out with Lizzo's crew -- all of whom were rolling with Apple honcho Tim Cook, it seems -- and they were all in a completely separate private suite ... in a completely different part of the stadium too.

On its face, it would appear Kendall might, perhaps, be rekindling things with Devin once again -- whom she broke up with almost 2 years ago -- after her latest romance with Benito.

The interesting thing, of course, is that Kendall was recently spotted hanging with Bad Bunny after their own split a couple months ago. Remember, they'd been seen running with the same crew to ring in the New Year ... and some thought they were getting back together.

If she's chillin' with Devin, though ... that now seems unlikely, especially with BB there in Vegas, but nowhere near her. From this -- you can kinda assume ... they're probably over.

Devin was Kendall's previous boyfriend before Bunny ... so, retracing her steps a bit.

Jon Stewart went after Joe Biden in his official return to "The Daily Show" -- part of his both-sides approach to covering the news and politics again ... just like old times.

The comedian came out guns blazing Monday night in his first gig of hosting the Comedy Central show anew ... and yes, he was ready to discuss the upcoming 2024 election -- diving head-first into the candidates (thus far), and taking aim at POTUS.

As you can see, Jon didn't hold back ... taking jabs at Biden for a recent slip-up where he mistakenly referred to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the president of Mexico during a recent press conference.

He also called out Biden for, at times, not being able to recall basic details during his deposition regarding the Special Counsel report on his management of classified documents.

Now, JB's opponent wasn't let off the hook so easily -- JS also roasted Donald Trump ... playing a clip of DT's own deposition where he also couldn't remember stuff, quipping, "It turns out that the leading cause of early onset dementia is being deposed."

Stewart continued bashing the two for being too old ... pointing out they are well outside the age range for anyone who has run for the presidency in the country's history.

Jon roasted the hell out of both of them ... saying that while both might be "vibrant, productive or even capable," they were each also "stretching the limits of being able to handle the toughest job in the world."

Basically, he's saying that Trump and Biden should make way for new blood in politics -- especially now that they've both got their AARP cards, social security, and movie discounts.

Shaquille O'Neal got his wish by running into Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl ... but he seemed a bit more infatuated with the pop superstar's plus-one on Sunday -- revealing he has a big ol' crush on Ice Spice!!

The four-time NBA champ told TMZ Sports last week he wanted a seat right next to Travis Kelce's girlfriend for the Big Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers ... and while that didn't happen, he still got to rub elbows with her on at least two different occasions throughout the night -- even gifting her a Judith Leiber bag, which comes with a $4,500 price tag.

Shaq made sure to show his appreciation for his run-in with Swift -- who ended up sitting with the "Think U The S*** (Fart)" rapper, Kelce fam and Blake Lively instead -- going to Instagram to share the interactions with his followers ... as well as his a special shoutout to 24-year-old IS.

"and @icespice is so dam fine thanks @taylorswift," Shaq said on social media ... which undoubtedly sounds like shooting his shot.

His comment section was flooded with similar takeaways ... with one user joking, "Shaq shot his shot… but it was a free throw 😞"

Another added ... "The last thing I’d expect on my page is Shaq saying ice spice is fine."

Unclear what Ice thought of the gesture ... but gotta respect Shaq's courage to throw it all out there, even if it goes over like a "fart" in a windstorm.

Katy Perry just made a stunning announcement ... she's dunzo with "American Idol."

The iconic singer appeared on Monday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" dropping the bombshell after 7 years as an 'Idol' judge alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

Jimmy kicked things off, asking Katy point blank if she was going to continue with the show.

At first, Katy didn't answer the question directly, responding that she was looking forward to performing in Brazil's Rock in Rio music festival this fall.

Then she delivered the 'Idol' shocker ...  "I think this will be my last show, my last season for 'Idol.' I love 'Idol' so much, it’s connected me with the heart of America. But I feel like I need to go out to feel that pulse of my own beat."

Many in the audience sounded bummed by the news, but Katy handled it like a seasoned pro with her smiles and upbeat demeanor, turning the mood back to a positive vibe.

Yet, Jimmy seemed a bit startled, pressing Katy on what her fellow judges -- Lionel and Luke -- thought about her exit.

Katy replied, "Well, they'll find out about it tonight," indicating the two were only aware she had some new projects in the works.

Her last season is scheduled to start on February 18 as the singing competition TV series hits the 22-year mark.

Super Bowl LVIII was not JUST the most watched Super Bowl in the history of the game -- it was the most watched television show, period -- with an astonishing 123.4 MILLION fans tuning in for football, Taylor Swift, or both!

CBS and the National Football League just touted the ridiculous rating, announcing the Chiefs vs. 49ers game toppled last year's Chiefs vs. Eagles game (115.1 million) as the most viewed of all time.

It wasn't even close ... with 120 million people watching on CBS, and the remainder watching on Nickelodeon or streaming on Paramount+.

The NFL says if you factor in all avenues, over 202 million fans watched at least part of SB 58.

It's no surprise given Swift's proximity to the game. The Super Bowl, pop star or not, is always the biggest night in American television. Fold in the biggest star on the planet ... perfect ratings storm.

FYI, Super Bowls make up 29 of the top 30 most-watched TV programs in history -- and all of the top 10.

The ratings were also helped by the superstars playing in the game ... Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Christian McCaffrey, etc. -- and stars are a big factor when it comes to ratings.

Usher also put on an awesome Halftime show ... which presumably brought in many viewers.

Swift's effect on the NFL has been sizeable ... as even commissioner Roger Goodell admitted in the days before the game. How big of an impact has she had? TS has reportedly garnered the Chiefs and the league with over $330 million in free coverage.

That's manifested in a massive boost to the Chiefs fan base and a huge rise in popularity for Kelce ... and you can now add the most-watched Super Bowl ever to the list.

Beyoncé's decision to go country -- for at least one album -- is stirring fan excitement, but within country music, perhaps no one's more thrilled about it than CMT host Cody Alan!

The 38-year-old, who also hosts SiriusXM's "Highway Mornings," tells TMZ he's all for the pop/R&B icon opening the Beyhive to a new genre with Super Sunday surprise drop of "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages" ... 2 singles on her upcoming "Renaissance Act II" album.

Cody says having someone as big as Beyoncé shine the spotlight on country music is a big deal -- and he's totally embracing it.

A turn to country appears to be a bit of a trend recently as Cody reminds us of the success rapper Jelly Roll has had going back to his country roots -- and while Cody isn't certain Queen Bey's country foray will translate to the masses, he thinks it super cool she's even giving it a go.

Alan also notes that the music biz usually categorizes artists -- but it's a genius move on Beyoncé's end to step out of the box 'cause that's usually where the best music is found.

Propstore, one of the nation's leading prop auction sites, will be auctioning off 1,700 rare and iconic lots this March, and if you've got seriously deep pockets, you can get your hands on some super cool vintage film mementos.

For instance, every Star Wars fan would leap at Anthony Daniels' light-up C-3PO head from 1983's "Return of the Jedi" -- but, it could go for a whopping $1 million. Like we said, deep pockets, baby!

Captain Picard's 'Stark Trek' command chair is estimated to go for $100,000, while Sandy's "Grease" drive-in costume is expected to rake in up to $50K.

The screen-matched stunt leather jacket from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" -- which was worn by Vic Armstrong AKA, the world's greatest stuntman -- could go for between $200,000 and $400,000.

Vintage items from other movies such as 1969's "Easy Rider," 1985's "Back to the Future" and 1967's James Bond flick "You Only Live Once" will also be up on the auction block.

The most recent movie prop featured will be Harry Potter's wand from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."
