NOAH SCHNAPP My ISRAEL-HAMAS VIEWS WERE 'MISCONSTRUED'
Noah Schnapp says his thoughts on the conflict between Israel and Hamas are getting twisted online ... so, he took a couple minutes to restate his position on the violence.
The actor, who is Jewish, has drawn significant backlash since the conflict began in October 2023 ... as he, at least, appeared to support Hamas' violent actions in a now-deleted video while another showed him with "Zionism is sexy" stickers.
He tried to clarify Monday on TikTok, stating what he really wants is peace, safety, and security for all innocent people affected by the conflict.
He adds he's learned a lot after having open and essential discussions with his Palestinian friends ... both sides unified in their hope to have innocent hostages held in Gaza returned to their families, and also for the killing of innocent Palestinians to end.
Noah also said he hopes for more understanding and compassion regardless of race, ethnicity, background and sexuality, concluding ... "We are all human, and we're all the same, and we should all love each other for that and support each other and stand together. And stand together for humanity and for peace."
The backlash to Noah's view on the war has had people calling for a "Stranger Things" boycott for a while now -- so, many online think he's merely backpedaling to do damage control as production begins for the 5th season of his sci-fi show.
'ST' has regularly broken Netflix records with their previous seasons ... so it'll be interesting to see how this controversy affects ratings.
We covered it all on the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.

Gilgo Beach Case Suspect Rex Heuermann ... Hit with 4th Murder Charge
-
Breaking News
Rex Heuermann -- the alleged Gilgo Beach serial killer -- has just been hit with a new murder charge ... an expected development, officially rounding out the 4 known victims.
Prosecutors lodged a new murder complaint against Heuermann Tuesday -- accusing him of killing Maureen Brainard-Barnes ... a woman who's long been tied to the Gilgo Beach case, but is now being connected to RH via law enforcement.
Maureen disappeared in 2007, and her remains were found in 2010. She was technically the first of the Gilgo Four that was discovered within days of each other -- with the other three women being Megan Waterman, Amber Costello and Melissa Barthelemy.
Heuermann had already been charged in connection to their murders ... and now, he's being rung up for Brainard-Barnes too -- mind you, there are outstanding women's disappearances that are currently being investigated that may well end up being linked to this.
The added murder charge for Brainard-Barnes was something that seemed to be coming -- investigators were waiting for DNA test results from hair recovered from her remains.
Now, it appears as though they feel they have enough evidence to point the finger. Heuermann has pled not guilty to the charges against him ... he'll have to answer for this one at some point down the line.
His defense lawyers thus far cast doubt on the DNA testing being conducted -- arguing the tech is faulty ... and that it doesn't provide a smoking gun, but simply eliminates other possibilities. Basically, they're saying cops have falsely landed on him as being their guy.

Diddy & Diageo No More Bad-mouthing ... Settled Our Drama!!!
Diddy and alcohol giant Diageo were ensnarled in a nasty legal battle last year -- but that's old news now ... 'cause TMZ can confirm both parties have buried the hatchet.
Both Diddy and Diageo tell TMZ simultaneously ... "Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice."
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The statement continues ... Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns."
The Bad Boy music mogul sued the company last year -- accusing them of racism for allegedly neglecting his tequila line, DeLeón Tequila. Diddy claimed Diageo put this booze on the backburner, and alleged there were racist intentions behind it.
Diageo, of course, denied that ... and said they'd tried dealing with this behind closed doors -- but once Diddy opened the legal floodgates, they were ready to defend themselves.
This case has been playing out quietly behind the scenes, but now ... it's suddenly over. Diddy's withdrawing his lawsuit against Diageo -- and while there's no mention of it explicitly ... this certainly smells like a settlement of some sort.
Diddy was seeking billions in damages ... unclear what sort of terms they might've landed on.

Emmys 2024 Small Screen Stars ... Ready to Rage After the Show!!!
The Emmys came and went this week, but all the stars were still itching to have a good time after the fact ... so they hit the town en masse and did exactly that, with proof in the pics.
Just about every big-time TV star who was at Monday's award show went out to an after-party once the curtain came down -- and between 3 different shindigs that were going on ... there was certainly no shortage of raging to be had, with different options on the table.
For starters, you had Netflix's get-together ... which was a who's-who of A-listers. Just a handful of celebs who showed face at this thing -- Dave Chappelle, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Lyonne, Colman Domingo, Steven Yeun, Katherine Heigl, Niecy Nash, Evan Peters, Jenna Ortega, Trevor Noah, Giancarlo Esposito ... and a lot more.
Not too far away was Apple TV's big bash ... and that one was fairly star-studded as well. The big names who rolled through ... Zach Braff, Paul Walter Hauser, Harrison Ford, Kurt Russell, Jason Segel, Hannah Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis, Calista Flockhart ... and others.
One other party that hosted a crap ton of people was the Governor's Gala ... and there, too, the stars flocked. Some of the notable famous faces in their midst -- Ayo Edebiri, Quinta Brunson, Donald Glover, Joel McHale, Ken Jeong, Anthony Anderson, Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Allen White, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson ... and several more.
Like we said ... it's TV's biggest night in the biz, and folks made sure to leave their flags planted all over L.A. We're in the thick of awards season right now -- and it's time to shine.
All things considered, it's been pretty eventful overall ... and we're just getting started!!!

Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber Ladies' Night At Lakers Game!!!
Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber left their men at home on Monday ... and then proceeded to have a helluva girls' night out at the Lakers game!!
The A-list duo -- sans Justin Bieber and Bad Bunny -- sat in courtside seats with friends as LeBron James and Co. took on the Oklahoma City Thunder ... and it seems there wasn't one moment where they weren't enjoying themselves.
Cameras spotted Kendall sippin' from a custom cup with her 818 tequila logo on it ... and later, she and Hailey were seen jokingly flippin' off a fellow fan.
At one point, they were able to get their hands on a game ball too!
No word on why Justin and Bad Bunny couldn't make the game -- but, clearly, the girls didn't mind their absence.
Other celebs were at Crypto.com Arena taking in the action as well -- Dave Chappelle, Colin Jost and David Duchovny all had great chairs for the contest -- and, finally, L.A. was able to treat them to a W.
LeBron scored 25 points, while Anthony Davis logged 27, and the Lakers cruised to a 112-105 victory -- their first dub in nearly a week.
Seems the ladies might be a good luck charm for the team -- so, see ya'll back when the Lake Show takes on the Mavericks on Wednesday?!

Matthew Perry Honored During Emmys In Memoriam W/ Piano 'Friends' Theme
Matthew Perry was top of mind during the Emmys' in memoriam as they honored fallen stars over the year -- and you could tell by the music they chose to close out the segment.
The late actor was highlighted in Monday night's show, being selected as the last person to appear on-screen during Charlie Puth's stripped-down piano performance ... who started out by singing "See You Again" to pay tribute to several television stars who've recently died.
Eventually, he segued into the "Friends" theme as they started to get to the last group of celebrities they wanted to mention ... including Len Goodman, Barbara Walters, Bob Barker, Paul Reubens, Kirstie Alley, Irene Cara, Andre Braugher and eventually ... Perry himself.
Like we said, he was literally the last celeb to appear -- and it fell right in line with CP singing the closing lines of "'Cause you're there for me too." Yep, it was emotional.
You could hear the crowd cheering here too ... a testament to how big his loss was.
Puth's "Friends" twist was a sweet touch -- something people at home certainly appreciated, considering how big of a fan base MP had ... and the shock factor of his death generally.

Rob McElhenney Eagles Over Emmys ... Streams Game At Awards
Title this one "The Gang Ignores The Emmys To Watch The Eagles Lose."
"It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" star Rob McElhenney wasn't gonna let a silly awards show get in the way of watching his beloved Eagles' playoff matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday ... 'cause the actor tuned in to the game from his phone in the middle of the ceremony.
Rob's costar and wife Kaitlin Olson captured the scene in a selfie posted to social media ... with a caption that read, "Who schedules the Emmys the same night as the @eagles #gobirds #FlyEaglesFly."
Unfortunately for Rob, the action on the field wasn't a pleasant experience ... as Baker Mayfield led the Bucs to the 32-9 upset win, booting the reigning NFC champs out of the postseason.
The game also had to be a big bummer for Rob, as it appears to be the last one of future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce's stellar career.
While the Eagles won't bring home the Lombardi Trophy in 2024, at least Rob was able to snag some hardware this awards season -- his "Welcome to Wrexham" show received five Emmys off six nominations.
As for 'Sunny,' the gang took the stage to present during the event ... and took the opportunity to bash the fact the show hasn't been nominated in its 16 years on the air -- despite its massive popularity.
Eagles fans are down bad following the loss ... but at least it's always sunny in Philly!!

KEN JEONG & JOEL MCHALE MOCK JO KOY'S FLAT GG JOKES AT EMMYS!!
Jo Koy is still taking it on the chin -- the comedian got another taste of his own medicine during Monday's Emmy Awards as Ken Jeong and Joel McHale jabbed at his bombing as host of the Golden Globes.
The "Community" costars mocked Jo for blaming his unamusing lines on his writers -- hitting him hard while they presented the award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
Joel joked that former doctor Ken left his medical career not for acting ... but because he'd killed a patient and was still facing a lawsuit over it.
Jo Koy Calls Globes Crowd 'Marshmallows' in First Stand-Up Since Show
"The instruments that almost killed that dude were the ones the nurses left in, OK?" Ken quipped back ... adding: "The ones that saved his life are the ones I left in. And besides, I only had the gig for 10 days at that point."
Ken and Joel's joke stirred up plenty of laughs from the A-list crowd ... and comes hot on the heels of Jo explaining he didn't have enough time to prepare for the GGs ... and also blasting the audience as "marshmallows" who couldn't laugh at themselves.
You'll recall ... the comedian clearly didn't get the response he was looking for when his cracks on Taylor Swift and the film "Barbie" fell flat.
It was such a fail that even his ex-Chelsea Handler couldn't resist taking a similar swipe at him at the Critics Choice Awards Sunday.
Jo might not have had enough time to prepare for his hosting gig, but he's clearly given others some fresh material for the stage!

The Philadelphia Eagles lost their playoff game Monday night, and then they appeared to lose their Hall of Fame center for good too.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Jason Kelce told his teammates following the defeat to the Buccaneers in their wild card game in Tampa Bay he's retiring.
Kelce has not yet confirmed the news publicly -- he declined to speak with reporters after the loss -- though his emotions on the sidelines as the clock ticked down to zero seemed to say everything for him.

— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) January 16, 2024 @MySportsUpdate
Cameras caught the 36-year-old on the verge of tears as the Birds were officially bounced from the postseason ... and moments later, he was seen emotionally walking back through a stadium tunnel as well.
If it is the end, Kelce's career will officially go down as one of the best ever by a center. He played for 13 seasons and was named a Pro Bowler seven times. He also earned All-Pro honors five times ... and won one Super Bowl championship.
He also developed a persona that transcended football ... becoming a fan favorite off the field -- while recording a podcast, "New Heights," with his brother, Travis Kelce, that has quickly risen to the top of the charts.
Jason, of course, still has time to reverse his mind. You'll recall, he was seemingly done following the Super Bowl loss last year -- and he ultimately came back.
Stay tuned.

Ariana DeBose Hugs It Out with Bella Ramsey ... After Critics Choice Shot
Ariana DeBose seems to have buried the hatchet with Bella Ramsey -- who made a joke at her expense the night prior ... but all looks to be well now if this photo is any indication.
The two actresses were once again on hand Monday night for the Emmys -- this after attending the Critics Choice Awards the day prior ... and with ADB ending up as a punch line during the Best Song category, when she was labeled an actor who thinks they can sing.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Of course, it was Bella herself who delivered that brutal line -- reading off of a prompter in the distance -- and a lot of people felt Ariana had been done dirty ... herself included.
Fast-forward about 24 hours, and now you got this pic circulating online that shows Bella and Ariana hugging it out during the Emmys. There isn't too much context beyond what writer Evan Ross Katz -- who snapped this -- had to say about it in his lengthy caption.
He wrote, "Incredible! Here’s Bella Ramsey and Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose hugging at tonight’s Emmy Awards. It’s particularly poignant because of a joke that Ramsey was fed in their teleprompter at the Critic's Choice Awards yesterday which categorized DeBose among 'Actors Who Think They Are Singers.'"
Again, we're not sure what Bella might've said to Ariana -- but it definitely feels like an apology might've been issued ... 'cause the fact is, Ariana most certainly *can* sing.
One other interesting tidbit about this whole saga ... it looks like one Hannah Waddingham -- a big-time TV actress who's done some Broadway as well -- was consoling ADB on the carpet before the show got started. There's photos of the two having a heart-to-heart outside.
We know Ariana didn't appreciate the crack, and now ... it seems Bella's come around too.

Elton John Becomes Latest EGOT Winner ... After Snagging Emmy!!!
Elton John is the latest star to land in the pantheon of EGOT greats -- and while he might've had to wait a long, long time ... it was well worth the patience to break through in TV.
The iconic musician won an Emmy Monday night for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) -- due to his Disney+ concert special -- which was a huge deal considering it put him in an exclusive club of other entertainers who've checked all the showbiz boxes.
Of course, with his Emmy win ... EJ becomes the 19th person to have won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony -- something the Rocket Man himself was grateful for, in statement only.
Indeed, Elton wasn't on hand at yesterday's awards show to pick up his hardware or to make a speech in front of everyone ... but his husband, David Furnish, and an EP from the special went up there on his behalf and relayed a message from Elton himself, "I am incredibly humbled to be joining the unbelievably talented group of EGOT winners tonight."
He added, "The journey to this moment has been filled with passion, dedication, and the unwavering support of my fans all around the world. Tonight is a testament to the power of the arts and the joy that it brings to all our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career, I am incredibly grateful."
As for why he didn't show ... Elton had his knee replaced in surgery recently, and he was at home in the UK recovering -- although Furnish did say they called him up with the news.
Elton joins the likes of other EGOT winners, such as ... John Legend, Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Hudson, Mel Brooks, Audrey Hepburn, Rita Moreno and other legends in the game.

ARIANA DEBOSE 'HAMILTON' COSTAR DEFENDS HER ... She Reps 'EVERY Facet Of Talent!!!'
-
Exclusive
Ariana DeBose's former "Hamilton" costar is leaping to her defense ... after a Critics Choice Awards joke at her expense left her visibly insulted.
Christopher Jackson, who played George Washington alongside Ariana in the musical back in 2015, gushes over the "world-class artist" ... telling TMZ she represents every facet of tremendous skill and talent to the highest level.
He's imploring folks to find another artist out there who has delivered performances with Ariana's sheer skill -- basically, he's yet to see her do anything but shine.
Christopher's also reminding us the job of a Broadway star ain't easy, so much so they have to always consider the safe route -- but Ariana's got it all locked down cause she's a triple threat in every sense of the word.
He blasts the "lazy hack-ass" writers for the joke, but Victoria Theodore -- musical director for 'The Donna Summer Musical' in which Ariana starred -- is taking a direct shot at Bella Ramsey for delivering the quip.
She says Bella's scripted line was rude, and lumping Ariana in with "actors who think they can sing" was completely uncalled for.
Victoria also noted how challenging it is to sing live on Broadway while dancing and acting, but despite that ... she says it's no sweat for Ariana, because she can perform all aspects of musical theatre brilliantly.
Ariana's immediate facial reaction to the joke has gone viral ... and she later admitted on social media, she genuinely didn't find it funny.
Maximizing the awkwardness was the fact Bella was standing next to Anthony Ramos ... another one of Ariana's "Hamilton" costars.
She clearly has loads of people in her corner, though, so it's safe to say the crack doesn't reflect how most of Hollywood feels.

Standing at a microphone, Pascal told the star-studded audience in L.A.'s Peacock Theater, "Everyone’s been asking about my arm, but it’s actually my shoulder. And I think it’s time to let everyone know that Kieran Culkin beat the s— out of me.”
The whole crowd burst out in laughter, except Culkin, who sat with a serious look, while shooting a hard stare at Pascal. But, Culkin couldn't keep a straight face for very long and soon began chuckling with the other people, as the video cuts off.

While accepting the trophy for "Best Actor In A Drama Series" for HBO's Succession, Culkin took a playful jab at Pascal, telling him to "suck it." Pascal had been nominated in the same category for his role in another popular HBO series, "The Last of Us."
By the way, Pascal told the Associated Press at the Golden Globes that he injured his arm during a fall.
The ball's now back in Culkin's court. Let's see what Kieran does with it.

Christina Applegate Standing Ovation At Emmys ... Jokes About Shaming MS
Christina Applegate got folks out of their seats at the Emmys ... and it's all because of her courage.
The "Dead to Me" star, who is dealing with her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, came out to a standing ovation as she presented the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Christina used a cane to get to the stage as the crowd rose to its feet and applauded.
Ya gotta see the video ... she got emotional about the reception she was getting, and cracked a joke, saying ... "You're totally shaming me with disability by standing up."
Remember, Christina revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in 2021, referring to it as a "strange journey."
It's great to see her involved at the Emmys ... when she was up for a SAG award last year she said it would likely be her last award show as an actress because of MS.
At that award show she used a cane with a powerful message on it ... "F U MS." While her cane Monday night wasn't fitted with any such note, Christina's presence onstage said plenty.
If her acting career is over, as Christina's predicted, she could certainly still do award show presenting --- she had the Emmys crowd wrapped around her finger.
We covered it all on the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.
