John Travolta's Saturday night fever had him dancing his way to a food based on one of his other iconic films ... 'cause he hit up a Miami restaurant to try the "beefcase" -- a new dish based on the iconic briefcase from "Pulp Fiction."

The veteran actor pulled up to Dave Grutman's Papi Steak Miami Beach -- co-owned by David "Papi" Einhorn -- to try the famed food ... a huge slab of meat brought out in a gold-plated briefcase.

Check out the clip ... the inside of the briefcase glitters to reveal the massive cut of meat with lights inside the case shining to make it look just like the one in the movie.

Jessica Simpson is down to do anything to help her vocal cords be in tip-top shape -- including a Chinese herb cocktail that includes snake sperm!

You read that right ... the singer and actress revealed on Instagram Friday that she sips on a specialty drink that includes snake sperm as an ingredient at the recommendation of her vocal coach.

JS said she had no idea about the head-turning ingredient until a pal looked up the ingredients list. She seems totally unfazed ... and even compared it to honey.

Actor Richard Chamberlain, best known for starring in the NBC medical drama series "Dr. Kildare" in the 1960s, has died.

He passed on Saturday night in Waimanalo, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, due to complications following a stroke, publicist Harlan Boll tells TMZ.

Malcolm LaVergne, the special administrator of O.J.'s estate, tells TMZ ... the Bible of the former lawyer sold at auction for $80,276. He says he doesn't know who the lucky buyer is but notes that whether you loved O.J. or hated him it's clear "his legacy endures."

The estate's auction brought in an estimated $300K in sales. Other items that sold included a personally signed and framed photo of O.J. and former President Bill Clinton which went for over $18K. Also sold was a replica of O.J.'s 1968 Heisman Trophy for $42,700.

There was another airplane disaster Saturday in the United States ... this time, a small jet plummeted from the skies over Minnesota, crashing into a house and killing everyone on board, according to authorities.

And it was all caught on video ... Ring Camera footage captured the light aircraft doing a nosedive before dropping out of frame. You then hear the loud impact as the plane slams into the home in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Other video shows the aftermath of the crash with the house engulfed in flames as fire trucks arrive on scene.
