A "Cancer Alley" resident is speaking out after the Trump administration dropped a federal lawsuit aimed at cutting toxic emissions ... telling TMZ it's upsetting but not surprising, given the president's vow to dismantle so-called "radical" DEI programs.

Roxanne Keller joined us on "TMZ Live" Thursday, pointing out the highly polluted area of Louisiana known as Cancer Alley is a predominantly Black community, so she's not shocked that a Biden-era lawsuit against the chemical company Denka Performance Elastomer was dismissed last week.

Roxanne developed fibroids after moving to the region at just 4 years old. She's since lost both her parents and several family members to cancer over the years -- all of whom lived in the area, which is known for its unacceptably high cancer risks due to major plant emissions.

Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about her slow realization that she was suffering from brain tumors ... and she says she's had some of the saddest and darkest days since her diagnosis.

The reality TV star dished on the "wild" lead-up to her brain surgery on her "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast, explaining she initially dismissed her symptoms as migraines or menopause.

Teddi says she was at a horse show when she had a terrible migraine, took some of her friend's migraine meds and instantly felt worse ... to the point where she forgot where she was.

John Feinstein -- a longtime sports reporter and author -- has died at the age of 69 ... according to his employer, the Washington Post.

John's brother -- Robert -- confirmed his passing to the outlet on Thursday. His cause of death was not revealed.

Feinstein started his career at the Post in 1977 ... working as a night police reporter before joining the sports beat. He was the author of 48 books, 23 of which became a New York Times best seller. One of his most well-known pieces was "A Season on the Brink," which followed the 1985-86 Indiana University men's basketball team led by Bob Knight.

Cassie Ventura's lawyer is calling BS on Diddy's claim that the video of him beating her up in a hotel hallway is edited ... and, her attorney says he's sure the footage will be admitted into evidence.

Douglas Wigdor tells TMZ ... it's not surprising Diddy "would make a disingenuous argument to exclude the disturbing video from being shown to the jury in the upcoming trial."

Cassie's attorney adds ... "I am confident that the video fairly and accurately represents what happened, will be admitted into evidence" ... and Diddy "will be held accountable for his depravity."

Blake Lively is getting the protective order she wants in her war with Justin Baldoni -- but Justin's team is also celebrating the fact that ultimately, there will be very few secrets kept from the public in this case.

According to docs, the judge in Justin's lawsuit against Blake and Ryan Reynolds is issuing an order allowing Blake and Justin's legal teams to designate sensitive material as suitable for "attorneys' eyes only" -- meaning they can choose to keep certain details out of the public eye.

On the surface, this is a big win for Team Lively. As we reported, she and her attorneys wanted the protective order as a means to block Justin's side from continuing to release a slew of emails, texts, videos and other material related to their war over "It Ends With Us."

Xavier Worthy's attorneys just released an additional statement to TMZ Sports, once again denying Tia Jones' allegations ... while claiming her application for a protective order "was unnecessary and a media ploy."

"Mr. Worthy had hoped that he would have a long-term relationship with Ms. Jones when he proposed months ago," Chip Lewis and Sam Bassett said. "It is a sad commentary that after she has been asked to leave his residence on multiple occasions, that she refused to leave and now continues to make false allegations and defamatory statements to extort him."

The lawyers added that Worthy has hired an additional civil attorney "to address" Jones' "defamatory statements."
