Lori Loughlin's Hubby Home Confinement Over Gets Off Day Early

Lori Loughlin's husband is free to leave the house earlier than expected ... it's only one day, but it's better than nothing.

Mossimo Giannulli was set to be released from home confinement April 17, which is a Saturday, but it's common policy to grant release on the last preceding weekday if their freedom date falls on a weekend.

So, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Lori's hubby was eligible to get off home confinement Friday, April 16 ... which is what just happened.

As we reported ... Mossimo was originally supposed to be locked up behind bars until the 17th, but got sprung a couple weeks early to serve out the remainder of his sentence at home.

Of course, he tried to get a much earlier release in January over COVID-19 concerns, but the judge shot him down, claiming his worries weren't enough to justify it.

This happened about a month after Lori got released -- just after Christmas -- after serving nearly 2 months for her role in the notorious college admissions scandal.

As you'll recall ... Lori pled guilty last May to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. She and Mossimo were accused of paying $500k in bribes to get their daughters into USC and faking a photo that made it look like the girls were college-caliber rowers.

Mossimo pled guilty to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and 1 count of honest services wire and mail fraud. He was sentenced to 5 months, but like we said ... looks like he caught a little break.

Pamela Anderson Malibu Mansion in Escrow

Pamela Anderson is just about to say bye-bye to the 'bu ... she's found a buyer for her beautiful estate and is leaving L.A. for good -- or at least, for now.

The 'Baywatch' star has a buyer for her 4-bedroom pad in the super-exclusive Malibu Colony. She was asking $14.9 million and, although we don't know what the buyer is paying, we do know this -- the Colony is blazing hot and in many cases, homes are selling way above the asking price.

Our sources say the deal still has some contingencies, so it's not a lock ... at least not yet, but it's on the road to closing.

Pamela's soon-to-be-former place is 5,500 square feet ... the estate is decked out with a pool, sauna, outdoor bar, fire pit, retractable glass walls and we haven't even gotten to the guest house. Tomer Fridman has the listing.

The guest home comes with its own lounge, and the bedroom suite features a fireplace, spa tub and sweeping views of the mountains and lagoons.

As for Pam's plans ... she's living in Vancouver, where she grew up.

George Floyd Death Cops Were Afraid to Step Up ... Says Cariol Horne

SHOULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED
TMZ.com

Cariol Horne -- the Buffalo police officer who was fired for trying to stop a chokehold employed by a fellow cop -- says George Floyd's death demonstrates how fearful police are of crossing the thin blue line ... even when they know it's the right thing to do.

Cariol joined "TMZ Live" Friday on the heels of winning a ruling this week to get her pension and back pay reinstated, after she was fired for the 2006 incident in which she intervened during the arrest of Neal Mack ... stopping a white officer from choking him.

Horne tells us she cried for 2 days after Floyd's death because it didn't have to happen, but the case brought to light what she dealt with 15 years ago. She adds that it shows there needs to be systemic change in how police behave when they witness brutality among their peers.

She's already done her part to make it happen, not just with the 2006 incident, but by writing legislation that's been passed into law in Buffalo which obligates officers to stop police brutality, and legally protects those who do.

It's called Cariol's Law, and she's pushing for it to become the norm in the U.S. ... so police can actually play their part in ending police brutality.

As for her legal victory this week, Horne believes the current climate factored in ... as she says people are finally recognizing that police brutality is simply a progression from the days of slavery and segregation.

Horne says it's time for it to come to an end, and for everyone to start doing the right thing ... and following the golden rule.

Texas Middle School 11-Yr-Old Suspended for Hairdo ... Mom Says Braid Battle Brewing

A Texas mother claims her 11-year-old son is being isolated and disciplined at school, simply because his hair is braided ... and now she's gearing up for a legal battle.

Hope Cozart says her son, Maddox, and his sisters expressed interest in learning more about their African heritage -- their father is Black -- and she's encouraged them to "explore their culture."

So, she says her son asked to have a braid in his hair like his father, but when he wore it to school earlier this month in Troy, TX ... she claims he got in-school suspension, and not just once.

According to the law firm working with the Cozart family, Maddox was first suspended on April 5 "based on his hairstyle," and has since been given in-school suspension every day for the same reason.

It says, "This action has denied Maddox an education equal to that of the other students at Raymond Mays Middle School."

Maddox's hairstyle reportedly violates the student handbook, which states hair "May not be worn in a ponytail, top knot, bun, or similar styles." His mother says this is an outdated policy that needs to be changed, adding ... "Kids should be able to express themselves and hair does not affect your education."

According to Love B. Scott, the school has reportedly declined to comment on the situation citing its student confidentiality policy, but the family's legal team is threatening legal action if Maddox is not returned to his class immediately.

Aaron Donald Video from Nightclub Fight Shows NFL Star Pulling Mob Off Alleged Attacker

BREAKING UP THE FIGHT
TMZSports.com
UPDATE

8:52 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained footage from the surveillance video which appears to show Donald pulling people off of Spriggs after the alleged bottle attack.

Aaron Donald's lawyer claims the NFL superstar was the target of a bottle attack outside of a nightclub ... and he's got video to prove it.

Donald's attorney, Casey White, claims the assault allegations levied against the L.A. Rams superstar are provably false based on surveillance video they've obtained along with multiple witnesses.

As we previously reported, DeVincent Spriggs filed a police report against Donald -- claiming Aaron beat the daylights out of him outside the Boom Boom Room nightclub in the early hours of April 11.

But, Casey White appeared on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh on Friday morning and says the surveillance video proves Spriggs is 100% full of crap.

White says the two were at a party together at a residence above the nightclub when Spriggs bumped into Donald -- elbowing him in the back.

White says there was a minor conflict which resulted in Spriggs being kicked out of the party.

But, Spriggs allegedly waited for Donald in an alley outside -- that's when he tried to attack with a bottle.

"Mr. Spriggs starts walking toward Aaron and he's yelling and he's drunk and he's aggressive," White says.

"And, Aaron sees something in his right hand and first he thinks it's a gun."

"But, it's actually a bottle, a long liquor bottle. In fact, [Spriggs] swings with his right hand, Aaron ducks. The bottle grazes the top of Aaron's head ... he has a lump on his head from the bottle."

At that point, White says people in the area -- including Aaron's brother -- raced in to help Aaron and some people began beating Spriggs savagely.

Aaron was restrained during the beating, White says -- but eventually freed himself and actually began ripping people off of Spriggs.

"He actually saved Mr. Spriggs from further injury,” White said ... "It’s fantastic, from a defense attorney’s perspective, to be honest with you."

White says Spriggs was badly injured -- but insists the guy only has himself to blame.

White also claims he received an email from police saying investigators do not have any video evidence showing Donald assaulted Spriggs -- the implication being Donald will NOT be charged with a crime.

White also suggested he would be releasing footage soon to show everyone Donald did nothing wrong.

FedEx Facility Mass Shooting Gunman Kills 8, Injures More

Deadly mass shootings in America continue at a demoralizing pace, the latest coming out of a FedEx facility in Indianapolis ... leaving 8 dead and an undetermined number wounded.

The gunman opened fire both outside and inside the facility near the Indianapolis Airport late Thursday night, creating a terrifying scene of people running for cover before the shooter turned the gun on himself and took his own life.

Cops were called to the scene around 11 PM, and say the gunman parked outside, got out of his vehicle and quickly began shooting ... first in the parking lot and then made his way in the building. It happened fast -- 1 to 2 minutes, suggesting he used some sort of semi-automatic weapon.

Along with 8 people killed, there are at least 5 others reportedly hospitalized with injuries from the shooting, including one in critical condition. It appears some of the walking wounded took themselves to a hospital, but the number hasn't been determined.

FedEx says it's "shocked and saddened" by the tragic shooting and loss of its team members, and is sending "heartfelt sympathies" to all of those affected.

Sadly, this type of story is hardly shocking to wake up to in the U.S. anymore -- as disgusting as that sounds -- because there have been deadly mass shootings in more than 20 cities in just the past month, as COVID restrictions subside.

Remember the Boulder, CO shooting that killed 10 people? That was less than a month ago, and there have been a number of others since then ... resulting in families losing loved ones after the world has just gone through a year of widespread death due to the pandemic.

Insane Video Shirtless Golfer Attacks Man With Flagstick ... In Golf Course Throwdown

Two men beat the hell out of each other on a golf course last week -- with one of the dudes even swinging a flagstick at the other -- and the insane fight was all caught on video!

The wild scene went down on April 9 at a golf club in South Africa ... when two men got into a fistfight on the course at a local school's fundraiser event.

According to the club's general manager, Leon Kruger, the two had apparently been in a dispute over a lost phone before the melee erupted.

"There were two groups, one behind the other, on the course," Kruger said of the tiff to News24. "Someone in the first group lost their phone."

"When they asked the second group if they had seen the phone, they denied having it. That's when things then got out of hand."

You can see in the footage, one of the men began attacking the other, throwing haymakers and eventually ripping off the guy's shirt.

That's when the shirtless man grabbed a nearby flagstick, and swung it at the other dude's head repeatedly!!

The stick struck the guy with such force, it broke over his body ... but the fight still continued.

Eventually, after several more punches were thrown ... the guys calmed down and the fracas was over. It does not appear authorities were involved.

Kruger said the golf club would look into ways to deter this kind of action on the course going forward ... adding, "People should behave themselves."

Pentagon Confirms UFO Vid is The Real Deal!!!

THEY'RE HERE!
@jeremycorbell / Instagram

A leaked video showing a triangle-shaped object gliding through the sky has now captured the attention of the U.S. Government, which says the vid's the real deal.

The clip, shot by a U.S. Navy Pilot, was taken in night vision -- and while it only lasts a few seconds -- it certainly looks like something out of a science fiction movie. Now, the Pentagon is not only confirming the video is real, but it's referring to the object as an unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), or as we know it ... a UFO.

It's unclear when and where the vid of the triangle-shaped object was shot.

The Pentagon established a task force to dive into UAP sightings back in August, saying, "The Department of Defense and the military departments take any incursions by unauthorized aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace very seriously and examine each report."

In January, TMZ obtained photos of another apparent UFO sighting from a driver in L.A. traveling on the 101 freeway. The image was of a bright object with a swirl shape and little lights following behind it.

It's a big universe out there, folks.

Army Sgt. Pentland BLM Protests Concern Neighbors After Pentland's Arrest

"YOU'RE IN THE WRONG NEIGHBORHOOD"
usetmx

Homeowners in Army Sgt. Jonathan Pentland's neighborhood are worried they're gonna end up suffering because he decided to confront a Black man walking on his block.

An official for the HOA at The Summit -- the South Carolina community where the incident went down -- tells TMZ ... residents are very concerned over the ongoing demonstrations going on outside Pentland's home.

Protestors have gathered there since Wednesday when the video of Pentland harassing the man went viral.

We're told Pentland's neighbors are on edge about crowds spilling over into their yards and ruining the grass -- and they've been running to the HOA and cops to complain about crowded streets and sidewalks.

The vibe is folks are angry they have to deal with the mess Pentland created. In fact, we're told the sergeant, who was arrested for the altercation and subsequently suspended by the Army, hasn't even been back to his home since he got busted.

We're also told the guy Pentland went after does indeed live in The Summit, as he said in the video.

Interestingly, the HOA says the majority of residents at The Summit are minorities -- and while they, and the HOA, don't condone Pentland's actions, they're still concerned about potential property damage.

We're told the HOA's been flooded with hate mail from non-residents since the video became a national story.

Before his viral moment, we're told the HOA had no complaints on record about Pentland, and he was widely known as an "upstanding guy." That rep's obviously taken a major hit.

Adam Toledo Enhanced Video Shows Gun in Hand ... Says Chicago PD

THE ALLEGED GUN
Chicago Police Department

Adam Toledo was holding a gun mere milliseconds before a Chicago cop fatally shot the 13-year-old ... that's according to Chicago PD, which released more video footage to support that version of the tragedy.

The new videos provide a complete picture of what cops were responding to on March 29 -- a report of shots fired. The new footage shows Adam and a 21-year-old man walking on the block when the shots are heard ringing out ... and then running afterward.

Most importantly, though, police have frozen the moment the officer caught up to Adam in an alley -- and the enhanced video shows the teen was holding something as the cop yelled, "Show me your f**king hands!" CPD says this is when Adam tossed the weapon and then -- fractions of a second later -- turned to raise his hands.

The Toledo family's attorney, Adeena Weiss Ortiz, acknowledged Adam did appear to have a weapon, but during a Thursday news conference added, "He tossed the gun. If he had a gun, he tossed it. The officer said, 'Show me your hands.' He complied. He turned around."

The first body cam footage CPD released on Thursday did not clearly show the weapon in Adam's hand -- but police say the new video shows why the officer fired ... he saw the gun, and believed Adam was turning with it in his hand.

While Mayor Lori Lightfoot, and even the Toledo family, are calling for calm in the city ... activists are organizing protests in downtown Chicago against the police department.

Kanye West My Yeezy Gap Logo Is Official!!!

Kanye West is cementing the logo for his company's collab with Gap ... and it looks exactly like what Yeezus envisioned when this deal came together.

Kanye's company filed legal docs locking up the rights to the new logo design for his Yeezy Gap fashion line ... and as you can see, the branding is pretty much the same logo Ye first tweeted out last summer, when he announced his 10-year deal with the retailer.

It's clearly a play on the original Gap logo ... only instead of "GAP" in white block lettering inside a blue square, the letters spell out "YZY" and the blue square has rounded edges.

The docs, obtained by TMZ, also shed some light on what we might expect to see from Yeezy Gap -- all types of clothing, of course ... but also footwear, headwear, accessories and bags.

Filing these docs to protect the official logo makes a lot of sense ... Yeezy Gap is reportedly planning to introduce merch in the first half of this year, and Gap's has huge expectations for the spinoff brand -- $1 billion in sales.

Miles Teller ArcLight Cinemas, Pacific Theatres Closing Sucks ... But Movie Theater Industry Won't Die

THEY'RE HERE TO STAY
TMZ.com

Miles Teller is nowhere close to predicting the end of the movie theater industry on the heels of ArcLight Cinemas and Pacific Theatres announcing they're shutting their doors ... he says theaters will still exist, but it would sure be nice if someone would come to the rescue.

We got the "Top Gun: Maverick" star out Thursday in L.A. and asked about the mega-chains announcing earlier this week they're closing nearly 300 screens ... obviously the result of financial hemorrhaging during the pandemic.

Miles recalled some fond memories at the Cinerama Dome on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood ... where his films "Project X" and "The Spectacular Now" premiered.

Miles thinks ArcLight and the Cinerama could borrow a page from Netflix and find someone who will underwrite the pivot. He has a name in mind, and it's a big one.

ICYMI ... Netflix bought Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre in L.A. last year, so its original movies can qualify for the Oscars.

Goldie on 'Flavor of Love' 'Memba Her?!

North Carolina comic Courtney Jackson is best known for being cast as the Southern sweetheart "Goldie" -- with her light-hearted antics and party-until-you-puke attitude -- on the debut season of the classic VH1 dating reality show "Flavor of Love" featuring Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav.

Even though Goldie only made it to the final four in the competition and fell behind the combative "New York" and "Pumkin" ... as well as the winner "Hoopz" ... she was still one of the fan favorites because of her care-free approach to like and down-to-Earth personality.

Guess what she looks like now!

Sen. Lindsey Graham Let's Give Police Reform Another Go

WE CAN DO BETTER
TMZ.com

Sen. Lindsey Graham knows it's been a rough week for policing in America, and that's why he's calling on Congress to take another swing at police reform legislation.

We got the Senator from South Carolina Thursday on Capitol Hill and he told our photog it's time to get something done on police reform ... and he sounds pretty confident about working with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle to hammer out a deal.

Graham says the goal needs to be changing the culture of policing ... and that means beefing up training, making sure police departments are diverse and putting officers on the streets who are part of the communities they serve.

SHOT POINT-BLANK

It sounds like some of the recent examples of fatal police shootings might spur Congress to take action ... Graham mentions the Daunte Wright shooting, where former cop Kim Potter says she mixed up her taser and gun. He says it's "a sad way to lose a life."

Graham, who actually acknowledges his own white privilege in this clip, is not defending all cops unilaterally or calling for defunding the police ... telling us why both ideologies paint with too broad a brush.

Bottom line for Graham ... it's tough being a cop, but if this week has taught Americans anything, it's that the time for police reform is now and there's at least a chance it finally happens.
