Ryan Seacrest is the master of all ceremonies ... he's just been named Pat Sajak's successor as the host of "Wheel of Fortune."

RS made the announcement Tuesday, taking to social media by saying he's "truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak" -- adding he's been watching the popular game show for a very long time.

This is the grand prize for hosting game shows. 'Wheel' is one of the most -- if not the most -- successful game show ever. When you add up the viewership, it averages around 20 million a week ... making it the biggest show in TV syndication.

'Wheel' spans generations. It kicks off Season 41 in September ... truly incredible.

Ryan gives major thanks to Pat, adding "I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition." Ryan even calls it a full-circle moment ... pointing out one of his first gigs was on the game show "Click," another Merv Griffin venture.

Ryan says he's looking forward to working with "the great Vanna White." She has one year left on her contract and is negotiating a new one.

NASCAR star Jimmie Johnson's wife's parents and 11-year-old nephew died following a fatal shooting at their Oklahoma home on Monday ... and according to law enforcement, the tragedy is being investigated as a murder-suicide.

Muskogee Police tell TMZ Sports -- Chandra Janway's parents, Jack and Terry Janway, and nephew, Dalton Janway, were found dead shortly after 9 PM ... after receiving a 911 call from a woman who reported someone with a gun before hanging up the phone.

Cops say Terry is considered the suspect ... but the motive is unknown and currently under investigation. It's not clear if she's the one who made the 911 call.

Cops tell us they found a body laying in the hallway after arriving at the scene ... and heard another gunshot come from inside the home.

Cops searched the house and found two more dead bodies. All three died from gunshot wounds, police say.

Johnson -- a 7-time NASCAR Cup champion -- married Chandra in 2004 ... and they have two daughters together, Genevieve and Lydia.

Jimmie is currently slated to compete in NASCAR's Chicago street race this weekend.

Rapper Trina is not pregnant, TMZ has learned ... despite some serious fan speculation after her recent performance at the BET Awards.

ICYMI, Trina took the stage over the weekend to honor 50 years of hip hop with Trick Daddy at the big award show ... however, her performance sent fans into a debate about whether or not she's in fact pregnant.

A rep for Trina tells TMZ ... "She is not pregnant despite fans' speculation following her performance at the BET Awards. Just like any other woman, her weight fluctuates. She is asking for fans to just move on from this."

Trina's debunked pregnancy rumors before, having to shoot down theories back in 2021 after the BET Hip Hop Awards -- and she's spoken out about her struggles with her weight in the past, but it looks like people are assuming yet again.

Daniel Day-Lewis appears to be a little banged up in retirement ... using crutches to get around town.

The highly acclaimed and mostly-reclusive actor ventured out Monday in New York City, with a little help from the medical devices.

Thankfully, Daniel doesn't appear to be in a lot of pain, smiling as he made his way around town ... so it's unclear just how serious the injury actually might have been. It's the third time we've seen Daniel in public in the last 6 weeks ... which is a big departure from his usual MO.

DDL's been notoriously reclusive since retiring from Hollywood back in 2017 ... so it seems he's no longer living low.

Daniel's also showing off his arm tattoos here ... when we saw him twice last month, he was wearing a jacket and a tracksuit. He's growing out his locks too and looks like he has a nice flow.

Vanessa Bryant was victorious in a lawsuit over one of the biggest investments Kobe Bryant ever made ... and in the process of winning, she exposed some pretty awful, racially-charged smack talk.

The background -- Kobe plunked down $6 million back in 2013 for a 10% interest in the sports drink company, BodyArmor. Several years later, the company sold to Coca-Cola for a whopping $5.6 BILLION. Kobe's investment reportedly netted him $400 million.

In 2019, six months before Kobe was killed in a tragic helicopter accident, the President of Kobe Inc., Molly Carter, claimed Kobe promised her 2% of his cut. Kobe called BS on her, saying he never made such a promise.

Molly sued, and Vanessa picked up the mantle and not only defended the case, she filed her own counterclaim, alleging Molly violated the duty of loyalty and the non-disparagement clause in her employment contract by trash-talking Kobe and his family.

As for the alleged trash-talking ... Vanessa claimed she referred to Kobe as an "asshole," a "douche nugget," and a "dick wad." She says Molly called her the "f***ing devil," "bitch" and PSYCHO," even mocking Vanessa's newborn as having "botox lips."

Vanessa says while Molly was working for the company, she was permitted to travel to an NBA All-Star game and on the jet she groused, there were "a lot of fancy-ass Black people" on the plane.

The case went to arbitration and Vanessa prevailed on both the lawsuit and her counterclaim and was awarded more than $1.5 mil in attorney's fees.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez left their Sardinia vacation the same way James Bond might leave a villain's island after a successful mission -- full-throttle and completely badass.

The Amazon founder and his fiancée beelined it away from the Italian island Monday after spending several days there ... where they were soaking up the sun and enjoying the open seas. As a getaway vehicle, they opted for what seems to be a very expensive speed boat.

JB and LS were rocking their shades and chatting it up as the vessel roared through over the water and approached an even larger boat -- a massive support boat that was waiting for both of them.

This is not Bezos' superyacht ... it's appears to be the tender that takes them from the yacht to shore, and even IT is awesome ...  it has a freaking helipad on top of it, which Jeff and Lauren used.

Indeed ... they ended up leaving the area entirely up in the skies. A helicopter flew 'em out -- so they went from land to sea ... and finally to the air. We suppose we wouldn't expect anything less from a multibillionaire -- they tend to travel in style, especially on vacation.

As we've reported ... Jeff and Lauren have gotten their honeymoon started early this summer. They've been hopping all over Europe for the past month -- and wherever they go, they seem to be rolling solo and enjoying each other's company ... almost exclusively.

Adele is just like the rest of us -- piling onto Tom Sandoval with her Vegas audience ... even though she's kinda just figuring out the backstory and pertinent details as she goes.

The singer was back to bantering with the crowd Monday, only this time she wasn't talking subs ... she was going on about "Vanderpump Rules." Specifically, Adele wanted to know who the guy that cheated was ... and what exactly he does for a living.

It's a fair Q. Folks who don't watch the show -- but who might've heard about the drama regardless -- have probably been asking the same thing ... and Adele got some answers from ticket holders. Well, sorta ... people weren't all that helpful in painting a clear picture.

Adele polled one fella in the audience, and he simply blurted out ... "He's trash." She jokingly agreed, but clearly wanted her question answered -- and he told her Tom's a server who's trying to be a singer now. That's not *entirely* accurate ... but Adele seemed satisfied.

For those unfamiliar ... Tom is a local restaurant/business owner in L.A. who mingles with the 'Vanderpump' staff as a bartender. He's been part of the cast since pretty much the beginning, and yes -- he is indeed in a band ... and he does, in fact, sing.

While Adele didn't seem privy to any of that info ... she's certainly heard about him pulling a fast one on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, by hooking up with her best friend and fellow castmate, Raquel Leviss -- which blew up in his face earlier this year after we broke the news on the affair.

As we've reported ... there's been a lot of mud-slinging in the aftermath, but now -- Bravo's ready to do it all over again. Only problem is they haven't signed Raquel for the new season just yet ... as she remains at her mental health facility ... and they're starting production on Wednesday. Obviously, they want her back.

Time will tell if she inks a deal ... but it'll also be interesting to see if the 'Scandoval' has actual legs. This thing's starting to feel fully squeezed -- and there might be some fatigue.

A convicted double murderer facing the death penalty lost it in a Florida courtroom, attacking his lawyer Monday ... and the violence was all caught on video.

Joseph Zieler was wearing shackles and surrounded by bailiffs in the Lee County courtroom when he turned to his attorney, Kevin Shirley, to whisper something.

When Shirley leaned in to listen, Zieler gave him a sharp elbow to his face, causing all hell to break loose. Check out the video ... two bailiffs immediately jumped on Zieler and wrestled him to the ground.

The judge then asked Shirley if he was ok ... and Shirley gave an amusing response, saying, "I'm fine. I used to box. I've taken a lot better shots than that."

As for Zieler, his life is not going to be so fine. He was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in the 1990 slayings of Robin Cornell, 11, and her babysitter, Lisa Story, 32. Zieler was tied to the crimes in 2016 after police matched his DNA to the cold case following his arrest for an unrelated assault.

Pink's had a lot of gifts thrown onstage over the years, but something tells us this most recent item was one-of-a-kind ... as a fan tossed their mother's remains to the singer!!!

Pink was performing her headlining set at the British Summer Time Festival in London when the baggy full of ashes was thrown up onstage. Baffled, you see Pink pick up the item, ask, "Is this your mom?" followed by, "I don't know how I feel about this" before setting it down.

What's most funny about the whole thing, Pink barely misses a beat -- belting out her song "Just Like a Pill" through the whole ordeal.

Not much is clear about who threw the bag of ashes or what the reason was behind the move ... but you gotta assume the mom was a big Pink fan???

Nonetheless, the rest of the show went on without a hitch.

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice can thank Margot Robbie for getting their Barbie-themed song into the new movie -- this despite a lot of bad blood between the brand and the OG 'Barbie Girl' band Aqua.

The actress revealed in a new interview Monday that she actually begged director Greta Gerwig -- who's heading up the "Barbie" film -- to somehow get Aqua's '90s hit song "Barbie Girl" into the production.

Margot goes on to say she pled with Gerwig to get this track into their project.

Here's how she explains that effort ... "I was like, 'Greta, how are we going to incorporate this song? We can’t do a Barbie movie and not have a nod to Aqua’s "Barbie Girl." It has to be in there.' And [Greta] was like, 'Don’t worry, we’re going to find a cool way to incorporate it.'"

Welp, her wish was granted ... because Mark Ronson -- the EP of the "Barbie" soundtrack -- included Nicki and Ice's collab on the official album ... and it sounds like we're actually going to hear it as the movie plays out on screen. We're already hearing it in some promos.

Here's how MR says she reacted when she learned the two rappers were coming out with a Barbie tune ... "I was like, 'Together? Are you joking?!' I just knew immediately that all my girlfriends were going to lose their minds."

It's interesting ... a lot of people assumed Nicki and Ice might've been in coordination with Warner Bros. for their single -- but it doesn't sound like that's what was going on ... they were coming together independently, and Margot made their fortunes align. It's kismet!

The team-up is even more significant when you consider the creators of "Barbie Girl" -- the iconic '90s song by Aqua -- were in a years-long legal feud with Mattel over their hit. The dust has settled on that ... and it seems the brand's honchos are ready to turn the page.

We must say ... all the "Barbie" PR has been spot-on, and all the rage going back almost a year now. This movie is kinda all anyone's talking about as far as summer blockbusters go ... which is funny seeing how a Christopher Nolan movie is coming out the same weekend.

No one's really talking about that film though ... it's all pink dresses, flowery shoes and bright colorful scenery, it seems.

It also doesn't hurt that Barbie has her foot in real estate, which has jumped off the toy rack and into real life. Airbnb has launched a Malibu Barbie listing ... but made it all about Ken.

Harrison Ford is cracking his whip one last time as the iconic Indiana Jones -- and to ring in the big moment at the film's premiere ... the dude lost his digging gear and put on a suit.

The actor was on hand Monday in London, for the premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" showing off his best smile ... though some of his attempts looked like half-scowls.

In any case, it was a big deal for the movie biz. You see, this is gonna be Harrison's final outing as the famed archeologist ... and yes, he's still kicking ass at the ripe age of 80.

As you know, Harrison might be done playing Indy -- but he's far from retiring ... which he just made clear this past weekend. He was asked if he'd be hanging it up soon -- but he scoffed at the idea of that, saying that working made him feel useful.

BTW, speaking of acting ... Harrison actually made a little news on the red carpet. He said that if contract negotiations fall through this week between SAG-AFTRA and the studios, he too would be prepared to strike in solidarity with his union. Talk about a stand-up guy!

Anyway, as far as the actual movie goes ... it's getting mostly positive reviews and a lot of people are saying it's a fitting sendoff for an iconic character. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays his goddaughter in the flick, is said to potentially be getting set up as his replacement.

Time will tell, we suppose. All we know is that it's been a long journey for Harrison in this cinematic universe -- remember, he started playing Indiana Jones way back in 1981 ... so it's kinda crazy to see this thing come full circle all these years later.

"Vanderpump Rules" is gearing up for another season ... but TMZ has learned Raquel Leviss still hasn't committed to joining the cast and crew for another round of drama.

Sources connected to the show tell us the Bravo series is slated to go back into production for season 11 Wednesday.

Raquel, however, still hasn't said if she'll be along for the ride. We're told both production and Raquel's team are working hard to get her on the show, but she's still at her mental health facility, which continues to be her priority. We're told she has been at the facility for more than two months.

As for the rest of the "VPR" cast, we're told they're all coming back ... which includes Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix.

In case you didn't know, Raquel seemed on the fence about locking in for another season during last season's reunion -- telling Andy Cohen, "I don't know. It's in question right now. I want to."

She wasn't at the mental health facility at the time of the taping of the reunion, however ... which is where her mind might've changed.

Drake rescheduled his Memphis stop of his "It's All a Blur" tour without warning ... but his ties to the city still have some serious perks.

The Toronto-born rapper was honored with a key to the city by Memphis City Council Monday for name-dropping the city throughout his lyrics over the years.

Drake's dad hails from Memphis and was also on hand for the ceremony ... he joked the only honor his hometown ever gave him was access to the local hotel up the street.

Also up the street is FedExForum ... which was supposed to host Drake and 21 Savage's "It's All a Blur" concert on June 29, which now has a new date of August 6.

His July 1 date in Columbus, OH has also been rescheduled for October 9 without any explanation.

Donald Trump is in deeper trouble than anyone could have imagined in his classified documents case ... this after CNN aired a bombshell audio of him showing classified material he never declassified ... showing it to people who had no business seeing it.

The 45th President was taped casually chatting with his staff about "highly confidential" documents at a July 2021 meeting in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The get-together was supposed to be centered around a writer -- also in the room -- penning a memoir about Trump's former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, but it soon devolved into a conversation about a secret plan against Iran drawn up by Defense Department General Mark Milley.

The two-minute recording, featured Monday night on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360," starts off with Trump purportedly grabbing the sensitive docs and rustling them in his hands.

Trump then says, "This thing just came up." This was [Milly]. This was the Defense Department and him."

He then points out the docs are "highly confidential, secret. This is secret information ... Isn't that incredible?"

Then Trump makes an incriminating admission, stating, "See, as president, I could have declassified it, but now I can't."

A woman in the room responds, "Now we have a problem," but she then starts laughing.

In another part of the recording, Trump makes fun of Hillary Clinton and her emails scandal. One of Trump's aides begins by saying Hillary would print out her private emails all the time.

Trump answers, "No, she'd send it to Anthony Weiner." He then called Weiner a pervert, causing everyone to chuckle. Weiner, a former Democratic congressman, was convicted of transferring obscene material to a minor and sentenced to 21 months in federal prison.

It was cloudy with a chance of Prime in Copenhagen on Monday ... 'cause Logan Paul and KSI's meet-up with fans came to an abrupt halt when they started getting rocked with bottles of their own drink line!!

The wild scene went down as the YouTube boxing enemies-turned-business partners were promoting their hydration beverages in Denmark ... when, for some reason, some members of the crowd decided they'd much rather chuck their handouts than consume them.

Now, the whole thing could easily be a publicity stunt to give Prime some free airtime ... and if that's the case, it worked -- 'cause here we are writing about it.

If you watch the video, it's clear the guys never felt they were in harm's way ... especially considering the security guards in attendance appeared to be smiling through the bottle attack as they moved the two social media stars out of the line of fire.

Lewis Capaldi is pushing pause on his touring schedule ... telling fans he's taking a step back for the foreseeable future to focus on his mental and physical health.

The singer broke the news to fans on social media Tuesday, saying the tough call became clear after his performance Saturday at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.

Lewis -- who suffers from Tourette syndrome -- has often struggled with tics during his performances, with Glastonbury being the latest example ... but as usual, the massive crowd showed support by singing the song for him while he pulled away from the mic.

Lewis says, "The truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love."

No word on when he plans on taking the stage again ... but he ends by sending his love to all his fans -- "Playing for you every night is all I've ever dreamed of so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I'll be back as soon as I possibly can. ❤️"
