Robert De Niro's got a lot to celebrate these days -- not only has he debuted his new flick at Cannes, but he's a father once again ... and the mother to baby #7 joined him in France for a bash at the prestigious film festival.

The 79-year-old actor and his GF Tiffany Chen hit up the Vanity Fair x Prada party Saturday night at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, and he looked as happy as ever as they strolled in for some late-night festivities.

Just hours before, Robert premiered his new Martin Scorsese-directed film, "Killers of the Flower Moon" ... getting an enormous roar of applause and a nine-minute standing ovation for the new movie -- which he stars in alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons, and breakout star Lily Gladstone.

As we reported, Robert and Tiffany welcomed their new daughter -- Gia Virginia -- earlier this month, shocking tons of folks while proving age is but a number.

Ariana Madix looked exhausted Saturday leaving LAX ... emotionally drained after losing her close friend Ali Rafiq.

The Vanderpump Rules star kept her shades on as she made her way through the terminal in a brown sweatshirt and matching pants.

She arrived back in L.A. the same day she paid tribute to Rafiq, sharing a photo of them on Instagram.

"I keep wanting to text you. It feels like this can't even be real. We were just planning your trip to LA. Talking about our futures and all the things we were looking forward to,' she wrote, before ticking off the things she missed about her late friend.

While the two were obviously close, Madix actually met Rafiq through her ex, Tom Sandoval. The duo were childhood besties, and Tom also shared a post in remembrance.

Madix's life has been full of change recently, starting with the end of her nine-year relationship with Sandoval after discovering he cheated on her with her close friend, Raquel Leviss.

She's dealt with the fallout from the breakup for the last two months and even seemed to be putting the drama in her rearview by firing up a new relationship with fitness coach Daniel Wai.

Jonathan Majors is pretty clearly in a new relationship because he and Meagan Good were jetting off together ... looking affectionate.

Jonathan and Meagan were at LAX Saturday, arriving in the City of Angels after leaving NYC. They were holding hands and leaning in close as they walked to a white sedan on the tarmac.

The romance comes in the swirl of controversy surrounding Majors, who is accused of physical abuse by his ex ... something he strongly denies.

Majors was arrested on assault and aggravated harassment charges. His lawyers have called the arrest a "witch hunt" ... pointing to a video they released showing the alleged victim partying in a club and seemingly unbothered ... just after the alleged incident.

It's nice to have options ... and that's exactly why Jay-Z and Beyoncé are going to hold on to their $100 million Bel-Air mansion, despite just shelling out $200 million in a historic purchase.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ, as crazy as it sounds ... the brand new Malibu pad will serve as a weekend home -- in a sense -- at least for the time being. We're told the Bel-Air home, purchased for $88 million back in 2017 is still "home" ... close to the kids' schools and friends.

Eventually, our sources say, Jay-Z wants to move his family to the Malibu estate full-time ... but hasn't indicated whether that shift would also include selling Bel-Air.

TMZ broke the story ... the couple paid $200 million for the 30,000-square-foot mansion, setting a record in the state of California for the most expensive home ever sold. It sits on 8 acres on the Pacific Ocean in the Paradise Cove area ... aka Billionaires' Row.

What's also astonishing ... our sources say the home's previous owner and builder, William Bell, one of the biggest art collectors in the world, had a $1 BILLION art collection inside.

Taylor Swift is clearly in love, revealing to fans this moment is the happiest time of her life.

TS was in Foxborough, MA Saturday night, and right out of the box, she told the packed crowd ... "It's insane. I kind of just feel like telling you, that I don't know, that just ... I've never been this happy in my life in all aspects of my life ever before."

She went on ... "And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. It's not just the tour, like, I don't know, my life finally feels like it makes sense. So I thought I'd play this song which brings me a lot of happy memories." Then she began singing "Question...?"

As you know by now, Taylor's in a new relationship with Matt Healy, who's been a fixture at her Eras concerts.

They've also been seen together coming out of several recording studios. We don't know if Healy was just an observer or a participant.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seemed very affectionate during a Saturday shopping spree in Bev Hills ... beating back reports their marriage is on the rocks.

TMZ obtained photos of the couple locking lips and holding hands in full view of everyone on the street. We're told Ben and Jen appeared happy and carefree and very much in love.

They brought along Jen's twins, Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony to check out the playthings in Tom's Toys before hitting an ice cream shop for some treats.

The family outing comes on the heels of media reports speculating Ben and Jen had hit a rough patch in their relationship. Video surfaced showing them in a heated exchange inside their SUV. There was also footage of Jen getting into their Mercedes and Ben firmly shutting the door, but that report was BS ... he was clearly pissed at the photogs, not Jen.

Any tension between the two seems to have subsided ... they appear to be back on track, recently celebrating Mother's Day together with both of their moms.

Lots of Los Angelenos were disappointed Saturday night with the Lakers getting shellacked ... including a score of celebs who watched ... mostly on the hardwood of course!

Lakers vs. Nuggets Game 3 was a no-contest event, with the Lakers losing by a score of 119 to 108.  Among those who winced as they watched ... Adele, Jake Gyllenhaal, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy, Robert Pattinson, Andy Garcia, Jimmy Iovine, Flea and Jennifer Hudson.

Jack Nicholson should get his own, separate call out, so here it is ... he was on hand with his son, Ray.

But wait, there's more ... Eddie Murphy was hobnobbing it with entertainment titan Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson works in a building that is kind of an island to itself, but unlike her favorite show, no one gets voted off.

The newest Justice shared her jam during a commencement address to graduating law students at American University in D.C.

She confessed she's a "Survivor superfan," using the long-running show to deliver her message. Justice Jackson talked about the goal of setting priorities and using resources, however scant, to chart your path.

Jackson told the crowd, "I watch it with my husband and my daughters even now, which I will admit it's not easy to do with the demands of my day job. But you have to set priorities, people, and that's exactly the first lesson that I have for you today."

The Justice has watched since Season 2, and had another good takeaway ... "Season after season, the players who tend to do really well are those who appear to come in with the understanding that this game is about existing both in community and conflict."

Johnny Depp knows this is a pivotal moment in his career, and a real chance to get back his A-list Hollywood status ... so, that's exactly why he's focusing on the important stuff to get his mind right.

Sources connected to the actor tell us his recent stop at the Cannes Film Festival -- where he premiered his movie "Jeanne du Barry" -- was different from years before. We're told, back in the day, Johnny would've attended every after-party and stayed up late.

Our sources say after Tuesday's premiere, he made the decision to head back to his room early to make sure he got enough rest and to prepare for another day of media interviews.

We're told Johnny's experienced "an evolution in terms of prioritizing his health and rest" while also really picking things up with his work.

After Cannes, Depp flew to London to do Jeff Beck's tribute show with Eric Clapton and several other guitar greats -- and then he's hitting the road with his band Hollywood Vampires.

From there, he'll jump right into directing duties on "Modi," starring Al Pacino.

Depp's certainly been welcomed back by his adoring fans, and even corporations -- remember that new $20 million deal with Dior -- so it's no surprise he wants to strike while the iron's hot and capitalize on all the positive attention.

As for Amber Heard, she's hightailed it to Spain where she lives a much more quiet life with her kiddo.

Gilbert Arenas says Ja Morant can move past his two gun incidents and salvage his legacy ... telling TMZ Sports all the young NBA star has to do is follow Kobe Bryant and LeBron James' blueprint and focus on being great.

Morant's on-court success is currently being overshadowed by his off-court issues -- which include his most recent weapon-flashing video that's resulted in a second suspension.

Agent Zero knows a little bit about what the Memphis Grizzlies guard is going through -- in 2010, he was suspended indefinitely by then-NBA Commissioner David Stern for admittedly bringing guns into the Wizards' locker room and having a standoff with his teammate, Javaris Crittenton.

Owen Wilson needs a new pair of pajamas ... because police say a homeless man got into the actor's house and promptly threw on some of Owen's sleepwear.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... the man ended up inside Owen's Santa Monica home Tuesday night, rummaging through the house before slipping into a pair of the actor's pj's.

We're told Owen's assistant came home to discover the intruder, coming face-to-face with the man before they both booked it out of the house in separate directions.

Owen's assistant called Santa Monica PD, and cops rushed over with lights and sirens blaring, setting up a perimeter and nabbing the suspect in a nearby yard, still wearing Owen's duds.

Police say it doesn't appear the man took anything else from the home. The guy was booked on felony burglary.

We're told cops believe the suspect didn't know it was Owen's home.

24-year-old Daniel Penny, who's been charged in the death of Jordan Neely, is speaking out for the first time since the fatal chokehold on a New York train ... claiming what he did to Neely had nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Penny told New York Post Saturday that he's in no way a white supremacist and that he's just a normal guy that judges people "based on their character" ... this coming after waves of people claim his use of a chokehold on Neely was racially motivated.

He says the slander he's been getting is "comical," adding "I love all cultures. You can tell by my past and all my travels and adventures around the world. I was actually planning a road trip through Africa before this happened.”

Penny says he was coming back to Manhattan from school when the incident occurred, and  believes the footage showing what led up to the 30-year-old's death will prove Neely was the one bringing "terror" to the train -- noting, "I don’t think it’s going to even be controversial."

Tiffany Haddish pulled out all the stops, and drew a ton of celebrity attention, for her first-ever gala ... creating an extremely fun night jam-packed with big names all under the same roof.

The comedian's bash went down at The Beehive in DTLA Friday night, in partnership with her She Ready foundation, an org that helps support foster children.

The star power was second to none -- Paris Hilton was in the DJ booth, Snoop Dogg and Mario took to the mic during the shindig, and Jimmy Kimmel won a painting Tiffany made during her first date with her ex, Common! Not sure where Jimmy's gonna hang that piece of Tiffany's past, though.

That wasn't the only thing auctioned off ... Lil Rel Howery won a trip to the Ashanti Kingdom in Africa, and other peeps in the crowd walked away with stuff like a tour of Jay Leno's massive car garage and dinner at Tiffany's pad -- with her makin' the food!

Donations were flying off the charts, too -- not only did Kimmel donate an extra $25K, but comedian Jo Koy also pitched in the same amount to go towards her foundation. Bert Kreischer also dropped a $25K bomb ... as he ripped off his shirt for the crowd, of course. We're also told that at one point Snoop Dogg said he would donate $20K and then Paris Hilton announced her company 11:11 Media would also donate $20K.

The gala, which ended up raising over $200K Friday night, had a big prom theme, so people were donning corsages and boutonnieres with their fits. There was also a spot to take prom pics and even a "spiked" punch bowl, taking people straight back to senior year.
