Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were 2 hours late to the Met Gala but apparently wanted to squeeze the life out of their Met Gala after-party experience ... leaving the Remedy Diner in the wee hours of Tuesday morning!!!

The couple hazily greeted cameras early Tuesday morning, Rihanna dressed in white and Rocky in a trench coat while sporting a gigantic J in his mouth.

Rihanna, who recently revealed she's in her third trimester, didn't seem to let pregnancy slow her down at all ... as she was clearly able to keep up well into the night -- and morning.

The pair were the talk of the Met, with some wondering if they were even going to show face, but all was made right when they finally graced the carpet -- 2 hours late.

It's David Beckham's birthday, but it's Victoria's followers who are getting a present on Tuesday ... 'cause the soccer superstar's wife just shared a thirst trap of the 48-year-old in his undies for the occasion!!

Victoria posted the sexy snap just now ... showing David rocking nothing but some white Calvin Klein briefs and a beanie as he takes a dip in some water -- and something tells us it was cold outside.

The pic already garnered more than 229,000 likes on social media ... and yeah, the comment section is exactly what you'd expect.

"Let’s all celebrate @davidbeckham !! You’re welcome!😂," the former Spice Girl said on Instagram.

One follower summarized it perfectly ... saying, "Thank you Victoria.. from all the women of the world 🤣🤣🤣🤣"

Another decided to get more Rated R ... adding, "Don't be shy, show us the front 😭😭😭"

Victoria also shared a more serious tribute of her own ... gushing over her man in an emotional post.

The Beckham birthday festivities are underway ... and by the looks of it, the shredded athlete isn't worried about having too many sweets -- as he's already cut into "cake no. 1" of the celebration.

Brittney Griner clearly isn't taking her newfound freedom for granted ... she hit up the Met Gala with her wife on Monday night -- and didn't seem to stop smiling once.

The 32-year-old -- who was freed from Russian custody just five months ago -- wore a custom Calvin Klein suit for the occasion ... and couldn't have been happier to be with her spouse at the ultra-exclusive party.

She and Cherelle Griner flashed ear-to-ear grins for the entirety of their walk into the event ... and at one point, BG even shared a sweet embrace with Dwyane Wade on the red carpet.

The two basketball legends hugged it out while Wade was showing his daughter how everything looked on the Met's steps.

Brittney and Cherelle later spoke about their Met Gala experience with Vogue ... and it isn't hard to see they were thoroughly enjoying their time together after their tumultuous 2022.

"It's surreal still," Cherelle said. "This time last year, I was missing my wife. So to have her right here, to be in this moment -- breathtaking."

Brittney also took time at the event to raise awareness for the Bring Our Families Home campaign.

The trip to the Met is just one of many cool moments Brittney has gotten to experience since she was swapped for Viktor Bout back in early December ... she's also rubbed elbows with President Joe Biden, started to write a book on her Russian detainment -- and returned to WNBA practices.

The Super Bowl of fashion is here ... celebs are flocking to the Met Gala, each making a grand entrance draped in some of the world's most luxurious designers.

The annual event is going down right now in NYC at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Roger Federer and Michaela Coel are serving as co-chairs alongside Anna Wintour.

This year's Met Gala theme honors Karl Lagerfeld, the late iconic fashion designer ... and celebs are wearing pieces from the fashion houses where Karl worked ... including Chanel, Balmain, Chloé and Fendi.

The invitation-only gala features a star-studded guest list, and celebs are starting to pour in ... we've already seen Emily Ratajowski, Emma Chamberlain, Phoebe Bridgers and Rita Ora.

There's a lot of hype around Gisele Bundchen's appearance ... she's at the Met Gala for the first time as a single woman since 2006, following her split from Tom Brady, wearing Chanel as a nod to her working history with Karl, which includes her becoming the face of Chanel N°5 perfume back in the day.

Paris Hilton is attending the Met Gala for the first time in her life ... which is fitting because she used to be really close with Karl.

Ice Spice is another first-timer ... Anna personally invited the rapper as a guest of Vogue, and she's wearing a custom Balmain piece.

Serena Williams just dropped a bombshell at the Met Gala, but it's got nothing to do with tennis or fashion ... she's got another baby on the way!

The retired tennis superstar revealed her pregnancy as she and husband Alexis Ohanian arrived at the gala -- and just to make sure everyone got it, he put his hand on her baby bump.

Guess they didn't want folks guessing about what they were seeing ... a la Rihanna during her Super Bowl Halftime surprise announcement.

Serena also made it official on social media, posting a bunch of pics with the caption, "Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala."

This will be the second baby for Serena and Alexis -- their first, daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., was born in September 2017.

Serena's wearing a mostly black Gucci dress ... slimming, but you can still make out the bun in the oven in several photos snapped during her arrival.

Gordon Lightfoot, a folk music and soft rock icon of the 1970s, is dead ... according to his publicist.

Gordon, best known for his hit, "If You Could Read My Mind," passed away Monday evening in Toronto, where he'd been hospitalized. His publicist, Victoria Lord, did not say why he was getting medical treatment or release a cause of death.

The folk singer and songwriter became a Canadian national treasure, but also scored big hits throughout the '70s on the U.S. Billboard charts -- like 'Read My Mind,' "Sundown" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."

Lightfoot was a 4-time Grammy nominee, and he's been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as the Canadian Music HOF.

He had a rep for being a fitness nut and had remained active on the road ... touring the U.S. and Canada for years before the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to take a break.

In fact, he was still touring earlier this year, until an announcement just a few weeks ago that he was canceling all remaining dates due to an unannounced "health-related" issue.

He's survived by his 6 children and his wife Kim Hasse, to whom he's been married since 2014.

Gordon was 84.

Trans TikTok star Jesse Sullivan says KISS singer Paul Stanley's criticism of kids transitioning is misplaced ... Jesse says those who are transitioning aren't just doing it as a fad.

We got Jesse and Francesca Farago Monday at LAX and asked him about Paul's controversial comments, where the rocker claimed kids are being encouraged to transition at a young age.

Jesse says anyone who is considering transitioning is doing it because they know deep down who they truly are ... and he says the process is anything but fun. During his transition, Jesse says he lost family and he explains why the process is hard on the body and mind, not to mention the social changes.

Jesse acknowledges it's a hot-button issue right now ... but he thinks trans kids need real support because there's a lot for them to fear in this climate.

We also asked Jesse and Francesca about Dwyane Wade's decision to move his family out of Florida because of the state's LGBTQ policies ... and they tell us they actually skipped an event in Florida for the same reasons.

The cause of death for D.H. Peligro, longtime drummer for the Dead Kennedys, is now confirmed to be an overdose of a particular combo of narcotics that's all too familiar these days.

According to the autopsy report obtained by TMZ ... DH, full name Darren Henley, died due to "combined effects of fentanyl and heroin." It says he also suffered from non-small cell lung cancer, but the medical examiner's pointing toward the combination of drugs as the official cause.

The report also mentions he had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.

As we reported, paramedics responded to D.H.'s home in the San Fernando Valley in October after his landlord discovered Henley in a bathroom. He was later pronounced dead on the scene.

His bandmates first said they thought he died after accidentally falling and hitting his head, although, at the time, our law enforcement sources told us it was more mysterious ... and the recent docs say he didn't have any traumatic injuries, such as a head wound.

Mike Perry wants a BIG fight ... a big fight against Conor McGregor.

Just days after 31-year-old Perry defeated former UFC champ Luke Rockhold at BKFC 41 in Colorado, and then came face-to-face with "The Notorious," the former UFC star from Florida tells TMZ Sports he's looking to put a whoopin' on the biggest star in combat sports.

"I think a fight [with Conor] looks very entertaining. The build-up. The s*** talk," Mike says, before explaining, despite residing in different promotions, the fight could really happen.

"You know he's still in with the UFC. Let's hope he beats Michael Chandler, then we can really make the biggest fight date in the world, 'Platinum' Mike Perry vs. 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor."

Perry says if the world didn't know he was a badass in the ring before Saturday night, they do now after forcing Rockhold to give up after sustaining an injury during the bout.

"Luke helped with this. The world knows he was a serious threat. A very strong competitor. A 2x world champion and I made it look easy."

If Conor doesn't work out, Mike has a couple other opponents in mind.

"Tommy Fury is interesting. Logan Paul. These are good popular fights. Possible fights as well."

But, McGregor is the fight, as far as MP's concerned. We asked him if he had a message for Conor.

"Conor, 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor vs. 'Platinum' Mike Perry is the only fight to make. It is the number one fight in the world. All the fans want it. We'll throw hands, Southpaw vs. Orthodox. Big power punchers. I'm the better boxer, and that's no disrespect on you mate," Platinum Perry said.

Before this smizing girl with blonde hair in her blue tank was showing some sass on magazine covers and appearing in music videos, she was just a little girl chowing down on some grub up in London, England.

For all you "Swifties" out there ... you may have seen her in Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music vid or perhaps A$AP Ferg's "Dope Walk" vid. She's also taken on some starring movie roles including films, "Paper Towns" and "Suicide Squad" next to Margot Robbie and Jared Leto.

Jared Leto has just made his arrival at the Met Gala, confusing many to his identity at first ... that is until he removed the giant cat head he was wearing.

Check out Jared's wild getup for this year's fashion Super Bowl, if you will -- a tribute to the life and work of Karl Lagerfeld.

What's unique about the actor's furry 'fit is it's more of an homage to Lagerfeld's beloved pet,  Choupette, than the man himself.

Of course, there was plenty of confusion between photographers when Jared first hit the carpet -- as no one could possibly tell who it was, but everyone got super excited once he made his big reveal.

Leto's is likely the most bizarre look we've seen so far ... though Doja Cat also dressed like a feline, but less furry and far easier to identify.

Kim Kardashian has a very special person by her side at this year's Met Gala ... her daughter North West, who is making her debut at the event.

We just got video of Kim and North leaving the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City, where a ton of screaming fans have been camped outside waiting on their favorite stars to step out on their way to the event.

Kim's wearing a beautiful white gown, she's been teasing the look for a while now -- posting from Karl Lagerfeld's office in Paris just last week, so you know she's in Chanel.

North looked cute as ever, smiling as she made her way to the car with mom ... gotta assume she's wearing Chanel too.

Kylie and Stormi were also seen leaving the Ritz.

Cher and Alexander "AE" Edwards have called it quits on their relationship, and were never even engaged, despite multiple reports to the contrary ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the former couple tell TMZ they ended things a couple weeks ago, though it's currently unclear what led to the relationship's collapse or who first decided to end it.

What's more shocking, our sources say the two were never even engaged to be married, despite a massive diamond ring she was gifted around Christmas. We're told the two just decided to play into the speculation it was an engagement ring.

It was back in January when 76-year-old Cher told paps she and 37-year-old AE were engaged, but now we know they were just having some fun.

Remember ... Cher and AE were first linked back in November when they were photographed holding hands during a night out in West Hollywood.

AE even told us last month he was getting super close with Cher's sons, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman.

Jerry Springer was laid to rest in a private ceremony this weekend among family and friends, with plans in place for a public celebration of life in the near future ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the legendary talk show host -- who died last week after a battle with pancreatic cancer -- was buried Sunday in a suburb of Chicago. We're told there was a relatively small group of people in attendance for the ceremony.

We're told the burial also entailed a religious service -- which our sources say followed traditional Jewish customs.

It might sound like a modest send-off for the late, great Springer -- but our sources assure us his fans will get their own chance to say goodbye as well in the near future. We're told a tribute is being planned -- which, for now, is scheduled to go down on May 16 in Cincinnati.

Our sources tell us it'll be a free ticketed event open to the general public. Right now, organizers are planning how many people can attend -- for now, we're told they're anticipating letting around 500 people inside the venue.

As for what folks can expect during this upcoming ceremony ... our sources say it'll be a good overview of his life and legacy in and out of work -- which touched communities from all walks of life, from politics to entertainment and just about everything in between.

We're also told some famous faces are expected to roll through, but the list is still being worked on. Our sources say videos will be played, guest speakers will talk and music will be performed -- so it's gonna be a big deal. We're told the plan is to stream this as well.

While there'll, no doubt, be a celeb factor at the public service -- we're told the main focus here will be on normies being able to get in and bid Springer a proper farewell. Our sources say more details are forthcoming and that tickets are going to be made available soon.

The Met Gala isn't the only spot with questionable fashion statements on Monday .... 'cause James Harden was turning heads with his unique pregame 'fit all the way in Boston.

The Philly star pulled up in the tunnel at the TD Garden for Game 1 of the Sixers-Celtics semifinals matchup in an oversized sweat suit that had some type of blue fur all over it.

The pregame drip looks pretty comfortable, but it didn't stop fans from roasting the 10-time All-Star ... with one of 'em tweeting, "dude looking like he skinned the cookie monster."

Another person added ... "The Celtics are advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals."

But, there are some who actually like the 'fit and believe it means Harden's gonna go off ... 'cause one fan said, "The Cookie Monster is going to cook the Celtics tonight".

Another added ... "garbage fit = 30 piece."

The Sixers will need those points in Game 1 as superstar and MVP candidate Joel Embiid is out with a knee injury.

Even though the 2023 Met Gala is goin' on in NYC at the same time, Harden still found a way to get people talking about his style.

Big celebs and hot couples, like Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, are in NYC for the Met Gala ... and that means the city's luxury hotels look like fashion runways leading up to the big event.

Kendall and BB are just a couple of the A-listers in the Big Apple Monday ... and, interestingly, the lovebirds are crashing at separate hotels. Seems like someone, or both of 'em, don't want to share the spotlight.

Doja Cat pulled up to her hotel looking super casual and couldn't resist playing some Animal Crossing, which is why she brought her Nintendo Switch!

Priyanka Chopra was bearing some midriff before getting all done up for the glitz and glamor of the Met's iconic arrival ceremony.

As we reported, there are several other interesting guests tonight -- Gisele Bundchen's showing up solo for her first MG appearance post-Tom Brady, Ice Spice is a special guest of Vogue, and Lizzo's making her return ... despite dragging last year's event!

FYI -- celebs on the west coast brought their own Met Gala vibes to a Bev Hills dinner party Sunday night, which drew the likes of Austin Butler, Katy Perry, and Oprah.
