Zion National Park Missing Hiker Found Dead ... Flash Floods in Narrows

A woman who went missing while hiking in Utah has been found dead -- this after flash floods besieged the area ... and her being swept away may have even been caught on video.

The body of 29-year-old Jetal Agnihotri was discovered Monday in Zion National Park where she'd been hiking with friends on Friday before going missing that evening. Park officials say she ended up near some sandstone cliffs, known as the Court of the Patriarchs along the Virgin River ... rather far from her last known whereabouts.

FAMILY BELIEVES THIS IS JETAL

Agnihotri had stayed behind when a downpour hit Zion, wanting to explore the Narrows before meeting up with her group. The Narrows is a popular hike, where people are often knee-deep in water as they traverse the winding trail within the park's canyons.

When she didn't show at a rendezvous, her party notified staff ... and a multi-day search got underway with upwards of 170 professionals fanning out to look for her -- an effort that included search dogs. Now, an autopsy will be done to determine her cause of death.

Her family has told local media they believe her being carried away by an extremely powerful current was actually captured on camera by another group of hikers further down the trail in the Narrows.

The clip shows two people -- a man and a woman -- floating in debris-filled water that's at an incredibly high level. The woman is barely visible, almost slumbered entirely as people scream and look on.

Agnihotri was eventually found 6 miles from where she went missing ... so it would seem she was taken downstream quite a ways. That's how strong the water can get there, especially during monsoon season ... running from July through September at Zion.

The woman was a graduate student at the University of Arizona, and was expected to start school again in the fall.

Cubs Vs. Cardinals Fans Brawl At Wrigley Field ... Man Hurled Down 3 Rows Of Bleachers!!!

UPDATE

9:34 AM PT -- Cops tell TMZ Sports ... there was only one arrest made at Wrigley on Tuesday night -- though it appeared to be unrelated to the brawl in the bleachers.

The Cubs vs. Cardinals game Tuesday night was a snoozer -- but the action in the outfield seats sure as hell as wasn't ... 'cause fans got into a wild tiff there where one man ended up being hurled down several rows of bleachers.

The chaos appeared to happen in the eighth inning of the Cardinals' 13-3 blowout of the Cubs ... when several fans got into an altercation at Wrigley Field.

It's unclear what started the tiff -- but you can see in video of the fracas, a guy wearing an Anthony Rizzo jersey was pushed so hard during the scuffle, he actually fell head over heels down a few rows of seats.

Fortunately, he was able to get up seemingly uninjured ... but the same couldn't be said for another dude who was involved in the fight -- 'cause footage shows that guy was bleeding from his eye area.

Multiple security guards raced to the scene to try to restore order -- and after a few moments, it looked like they succeeded.

Unclear if any arrests were made, we've reached out to cops, but so far, no word back yet.

Kodak Black I'm Helping Out Haitians ... No More Going Thirsty!!!

Kodak Black is lending a major hand to Haitians cut off from food and water -- due to extreme gang violence -- by sending more than 35,000 bottles of H2O.

Kodak heard about the Caribbean nation's crisis, and decided to do something to help the situation -- dropping $50k to get tons of bottled water shipped there from Florida ... according to the rapper's attorney, Bradford Cohen.

We're told Kodak is using cargo ships to send over alkaline water, and the labels on the bottles read "LAST" because Kodak wants this to be the last time anyone in Haiti goes without water.

'TIL THE LAST DROP

Once the shipment reaches Haiti ... Kodak and his team are working with Haitian government officials to ensure the bottles get to their intended destinations.

Cohen says Kodak is calling for a ceasefire in the rising gang violence that's turning Haiti into a war zone ... and the water donation is just his latest step in an ongoing effort to help the island.

In addition to making sure Haitians don't go thirsty, we're told Kodak previously donated to orphanages and food banks on the island to get folks health care.

Hall Of Fame QB Len Dawson Chiefs Legend ... Dead At 87

UPDATE

6:42 AM PT -- Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes is mourning the loss ... saying in a note to the former QB on his Twitter account, "The legacy and impact you made on Kansas City will live on forever."

UPDATE
UPDATE

"Prayers to his family," he added.

Sad news in the football world ... Kansas City Chiefs legend Len Dawson has died, his family announced on Wednesday. He was 87 years old.

Dawson's family said in a statement the Hall of Fame quarterback passed away with his wife, Linda, at his side.

"He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend," Dawson's family said. "Len was always grateful and many times overwhelmed by the countless bonds he made during his football and broadcast careers."

"He loved Kansas City and no matter where his travels took him, he could not wait to return home."

Dawson had reportedly entered hospice care in Kansas City earlier this month ... and in the family's statement, they thanked his doctors and nurses for showing him "tremendous amounts of love and compassion."

"The franchise has lost a true legend," Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt added in a statement Wednesday. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Linda and his family."

Dawson -- who was taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the No. 5 overall pick in the 1957 NFL Draft -- eventually became the starter for Dallas Texans in 1962 ... and went on to become one of the franchise's all-time greats after the team moved to Kansas City and became the Chiefs in 1963.

The righty played for the org. for a total of 14 years -- and helped lead the team to Super Bowl I in 1966 ... but lost the game to the Green Bay Packers. He eventually got the Chiefs a Super Bowl win, though, beating the Minnesota Vikings in SBIV in 1969.

Dawson piled up 28,711 passing yards and 239 passing TDs in his career, and eventually retired following the 1975 season. He went on to become an ultra-successful football broadcaster.

Dawson was elected to the Hall of Fame as a player in 1987, and as a broadcaster in 2012. His #16 has been retired by the Chiefs as well.

#RIP.

Jenelle Evans is leaving "Teen Mom" and not looking back ... with her management telling us she's on to bigger and better things in the reality TV world.

Jenelle's manager, August Keen, tells TMZ ... Jenelle is officially NOT returning to MTV's "Teen Mom" franchise after the two sides could not reach an agreement on a contract.

We're told MTV wanted to sign Jenelle to an exclusive deal, but her manager says it would have limited other career opportunities for Jenelle.

Despite leaving "Teen Mom" behind, it sounds like Jenelle is not done with TV ... we're told Jenelle "has a new dynamic series in development, keeping the concept under wraps for now."

Jenelle's manager says the show is going to be picked up by a major network.

We're also told Jenelle is focusing on building her brand as an entrepreneur, and an exclusive deal with MTV just did not make sense for her.

John Lennon Scathing Letter To Paul Sells At Auction ... After 17-Day Bidding War

The nasty letter John Lennon wrote to Paul McCartney in the '70s has sold at auction after 17 days of bidding ... with the winner coughing up some serious dough for the piece of Beatles drama.

Dylan Kosinski, a rep for Gottahaverockandroll Auction House, tells TMZ ... the Lennon letter sold on Saturday for a total of $70K -- a winning bid of $56K, plus the buyer's premium of $14K -- the fee for participating in the auction.

As we reported, John fired off a letter to Paul days after an interview critical of him and The Beatles appeared in a November 1971 issue of British music magazine Melody Maker, and John's reply is mostly scathing ... but also thoughtful and pleading.

ANGRY LETTER FROM JOHN
TMZ.com

John's frustration with Paul is clear from the jump ... telling Paul he's ungrateful for all the money he's getting from The Beatles.

As the 3-page letter rambles on, John takes issue with Paul dismissing his song "Imagine" and berates Paul for allegedly threatening to "get us whatever the cost" -- "us" referring to the rest of The Beatles.

The piece was estimated to fetch between $30-40K ... we're told there were 11 bidders gunning for the letter, with a total of 14 bids in 2 1/2 weeks' time.

It's worth noting ... Peter Jackson's Disney+ doc, "Get Back," framed John and Paul's relationship as friendly, but this letter shows just how much their friendship frayed after 1970.

Hakeem Nicks Ex-NY Giants Star ... Selling Super Bowl XLVI Ring

A piece of NFL history can now be all yours thanks to Hakeem Nicks ... TMZ Sports has learned the former NY Giants star has decided to part ways with his Super Bowl ring -- putting it up for auction this month.

Bidding on the bling -- which Nicks helped Eli Manning and the Giants win in an epic game against Tom Brady and the Patriots back in 2012 -- is currently at $25,000, but officials at Heritage Auctions tell us it could ultimately get up to over $80,000.

The ring is massive, it's a size fifteen piece that's so loaded with diamonds and blue sapphires, it weighs in at a whopping 95 grams.

It also has plenty of history attached to it -- because Nicks was a huge reason why NY was able to upset Brady in the SBXLVI game.

The former first-round pick totaled 10 catches for 109 yards in the contest -- and had some huge grabs for Manning in the team's fourth quarter, game-winning drive.

It's unclear why Nicks is selling the piece -- but according to Heritage Auctions, the ring comes with a letter of provenance from the former wideout and we're told a portion of the proceeds will go to charity.

Bidding ends later this week ... good luck!

Kobe Bryant Photo Trial Plaintiff Seeks Up To $32.5 Mil In Damages ... Chris Chester Lost Wife, Daughter

Vanessa Bryant's co-plaintiff Chris Chester is seeking millions in damages as the trial over the Kobe crash photos nears an end ... with his attorney asking for up to $32.5 million in damages.

The Chester and Bryant family attorney's both made closing statements ... but only Chester's specified a dollar amount.

Craig Lavoie, Vanessa's attorney, asked the jury to hold the officers accountable for allegedly taking and sharing gruesome photos of her late husband and daughter.

Bryant's lawyer reiterated Vanessa will constantly live in fear, knowing the photographs could hit the internet at any moment.

"Anytime, any day, that can be the day," Lavoie said. "Every day they will live in the fear that that is the day they will resurface."

It's been an emotional couple of weeks for Vanessa ... who's been in the courtroom every day, forced to listen to painful details about the tragic accident and the subsequent investigation into whether law enforcement inappropriately shared the images.

But, Vanessa hasn't been alone. On Monday, Ciara and Monica were on hand to support Bryant, with the latter showing up on Tuesday, as well.

In Chester's attorney, Jerome Jackson's closing remarks, he asked for $2.5 million for his client ... citing emotional damages sustained over the last two years.

Jackson's also asking for between $100K and $1 million for the rest of Chris' life ... which based off life expectancy data, is 30 years.

FYI, Chester lost his wife and 13-year-old daughter in the crash.

Vanessa's attorney, while addressing the court, made it clear the case was not about the accident ... but rather the alleged improper behavior of the deputies.

"44 years ago, today Kobe was born. It’s an honor to stand here beside Vanessa and ask for justice. Tragedy took both Kobe & Gigi away. We’re not here because of an accident, here because of intentional conduct. We’re going to ask you to deliver justice."

The trial will continue on Wednesday in Los Angeles ... when L.A. County, the defense, are scheduled to make their closing argument.

FN Meka Capitol Boots AI Rapper!!! Insiders Say Label Has Diversity Problem

Capitol Records is pulling the plug on its AI rapper FN Meka, and calling the unconventional and controversial signing an insensitive move on their part -- in retrospect, that is.

The label went public with Meka's contract on August 12, but Tuesday it did a complete 180° … apologizing to the Black community for not thinking things all the way through.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ Hip Hop ... Factory New, the company that concocted FN Meka, was virtually blindsided by the news, learning of their shredded contract just moments before Capitol announced it was cutting ties.

We’re also told by label sources ... some angry staffers blame Capitol’s lack of diversity for the deal getting a greenlight, in the first place. One source claims the label has very few senior-level Black executives running departments.

FN Meka -- an artificial intelligence rapper with computer-generated lyrics -- featured overly exaggerated African-American tropes ... which triggered a major backlash.

Many fans and pundits took issue with the AI entertainer (or its creators) using the n-word, and romanticizing run-ins with police.

The virtual rapper’s debut single “Florida Water” single actually features Gunna, who is currently incarcerated.

Paul Pelosi DUI Photos Show Crash ... Field Sobriety Tests on Video

FAILING THE TEST
UPDATE

2:42 PM PT -- Paul Pelosi was dead set on performing field sobriety tests as long as it meant he didn't have to do the big one ... a breathalyzer.

UPDATE

TMZ has obtained dashcam video that shows what PP was put through after his car crash, and it looks like he was really wanting to show CHP officers that he was fine and not impaired ... insisting he could do balancing acts and whatever else they needed him to do.

UPDATE

Watch ... when one officer suggests just skipping all that and getting straight to blowing into a machine -- which is really all you need -- Paul says he'd rather do the other FSTs first. The officer asks him repeatedly if he's sure about that ... seeing how Paul appears a bit unsteady.

UPDATE

In the end, the officer says he suspects he's been drinking ... noting the dude can barely stand on his own without having to hold on to something. It seems that, among other clues, were enough for them to throw on the cuffs and drag him to jail.

Paul Pelosi's crash site from his DUI arrest looks worse than reports initially indicated ... as evidenced by the photos you can now see from the scene.

TMZ has obtained a ton of pictures that were taken on the night of May 28 in Napa, where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband was busted for drinking and driving. We knew he was in some sort of accident with a Jeep ... but we didn't know the extent of the damage.

Check it out ... you can see both the Jeep and Paul's Porsche on the side of the road. It appears as though one or both vehicles tore through some wooden fencing ... which may have been connected to a business or vineyard of some sort.

It also looks like Paul's ride was more roughed up than the Jeep -- the rear of his car is smashed in. Of course, you also see Paul himself here ... milling around the wreckage.

FACING CHARGES

The cops have said all along that Paul's car was the one that was hit by the Jeep. Nevertheless, CHP suspected he was under the influence that night -- in the end, they took him in.

He just pled guilty to DUI this week ... receiving a sentence of 3 years probation and 5 days jail time, with credit for time served. He got credit for 4 days, 2 of which were for good behavior ... the final day will be served through 8 hours in a court-ordered work program.

The other parts of his probation entail attending 3 months of a DUI education course and having an interlock device installed in his vehicle for a year. He was also ordered to pay fines and restitution for the property damage.

Heche was cremated, and will have a spot on one of the mausoleum walls at HF, located close to Mickey Rooney and with a beautiful view of the lake located within the cemetery's Garden of Legends.

Anne's son, Homer, tells us, "My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit. We are convinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her; it’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers."

RAYSHARD BROOKS Charges Dropped For Cops In Fatal Shooting

MOMENTS BEFORE

The two Atlanta police officers involved in the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks will not be criminally charged ... this according to the special prosecutor in the case.

At a news conference Tuesday, special prosecutor Pete Skandalakis announced he is no longer pursuing criminal charges against officers Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan.

Remember ... Brooks was fatally shot in June 2020 after the officers tried to arrest him in a Wendy's parking lot, setting off protests resulting in the fast food joint being burned to the ground.

Cops say Brooks fell asleep in the Wendy's drive-thru line and when police responded he struggled with the officers, grabbing one cop's Taser and attempting to run away. Brooks was shot to death after officers claimed he pointed the Taser at Rolfe's head, firing once and missing.

Both cops were subsequently hit with criminal charges, including aggravated assault. Rolfe was also charged with felony murder.

Now, prosecutors say their review of the case finds Rolfe and Brosnan acted in accordance with Georgia law, concluding the use of deadly force was reasonable.

Skandalakis also says he doesn't think the shooting had anything to do with race ... framing the shooting as being much different than the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd.

Missing CA Teen Cops Confirm Kiely Rodni Found Dead

UPDATE

1:04 PM PT -- 8/23 -- The Placer County Sheriff's Office confirms that the body found inside a submerged vehicle is Kiely Rodni. Cops say they're in contact with her family and that the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities have broken their silence for the first time since a submerged vehicle with a body inside was discovered ... letting the public know they believe it to be Kiely Rodni.

The announcement was made Monday, almost 24 hours after a YouTube search and rescue team first claimed they had located Kiely's vehicle in Prosser Lake, upside down in about 14 feet of water.

Remember ... Dog the Bounty Hunter told us he was getting flooded with tips on Kiely's potential whereabouts, but he was reluctant to dive into the high-profile case as a result of all the backlash he got from the Gabby Petito case.

16-year-old Kiely was last seen alive Aug. 6 near Truckee, CA, where she and about 100 other teens were partying at a campground in the Lake Tahoe region ... and went missing late at night.

Police have not said how Kiely ended up in a car sunk in the lake, or if foul play is suspected.

Magic Johnson Slams Rumor ... I Have Never Donated Blood

Magic Johnson just shot down a rumor claiming he recently donated blood ... with the Hall of Famer calling the story a flat-out lie.

A Twitter account posted what appeared to be a picture of Magic donating blood back on Aug. 18 -- and it quickly went viral, as it claimed the Lakers legend, who was diagnosed with HIV in the early 1990s, was giving blood in order to help those affected by COVID.

But, Johnson said Tuesday it's all completely fabricated.

"I'm aware of the false story circling the internet," the 63-year-old said, "and to be clear, I have never donated blood."

Johnson initially went public with his HIV diagnosis in 1991 -- announcing he was retiring after contracting the virus.

The former point guard did ultimately come back to play in the 1992 All-Star Game, and he also returned to the Lakers in the 1995-96 season.

But, following that year, Johnson called it quits for good ... and has since become an advocate for safe sex and HIV awareness.

Rapper Zoey Rolling Out Bulletproof Rides ... Rappers, Athletes Gotta Have 'Em

PROTECTIN' THE RAP GAME
TMZ.com

Miami rapper Zoey Dollaz recently dropped "Dollaz" from his handle, but added a money notch to his biz profile -- essentially starting a bulletproof version of Uber or Lyft.

On Tuesday, Zoey hit up "TMZ Live" to discuss Aegis -- the bulletproof car service he named after the Greek god Athena’s protective cloak -- and he told us he was partially inspired by his own brush with death.

Zoey is actually a shooting survivor himself, having been shot in December 2020 outside Teyana Taylor’s birthday party in Miami.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

On top of that, he and Young Thug survived a shooting while driving around Atlanta … where he guestimates 75 rounds were fired in their direction.

That was enough of a spark for him to start Aegis operations with just 2 vehicles back in January 2021. Zoey says proudly he rented out 23 cars to artists during this year's Rolling Loud Miami festival.

Zoey says his company isn’t just for rappers ... he actually counts Manny Pacquiao as a past client and he wants pro athletes and regular citizens fearful of road rage to utilize his services.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

He's based in Miami but has availability in major U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, Texas, Chicago and NYC.

The Washington Post reports Americans have purchased more than 43 million guns over the last 3 years -- and many, in and out of the industry, have called rapping. "the world's most dangerous job."

Those stats make Aegis seem more necessary than ever.
