911 AUDIO

It's clear to tell the woman who was with Kevin Samuels at the time of his medical emergency was desperate to save him, and those questioning whether or not foul play was involved in his death should have their answer  ... as you can hear in the 911 call.

We've obtained the audio from the call placed Thursday, the woman with Kevin tells the emergency operator she believes Kevin is experiencing an issue with his heart -- possibly an irregular rhythm -- while she continues to perform CPR.

The woman, who identifies herself as a nurse, says it's her first time at Kevin's apartment -- and has trouble giving the 911 operator Kevin's address.

As the call continues, the situation gets more desperate, the caller says he's turning blue -- and asks if the 911 operator can assist in calling his building's front desk and ask if they had an AED in hopes to revive Kevin. However, the front office was closed.

As we reported, Samuels, who was known for the controversial dating advice he gave out on social media, died last week at the age of just 57.

According to the police report, the woman who was with Kevin said he began experiencing chest pains Thursday morning before collapsing.

Travis Scott Hitting the Stage at Billboard Awards I'm Back on Track!!!

Travis Scott is officially firing from all cylinders on his journey back to being one of music's biggest performers ... he's scheduled to hit the 'BBMA' stage next week.

Sources connected to the "Billboard Music Awards" tell us TS will perform at the upcoming show. It'll be his first televised performance in 6 months, and will be watched by millions of people around the world.

As we reported, Travis hit the stage in Miami over the weekend, as part of Miami Grand Prix weekend ... so it's safe to say he's getting back into the swing of things. Travis certainly didn't hold anything back, and the crowd loved his performance.

As we've reported, Travis has performed at a few private parties in the last couple months ... like the Pre-Oscars event and a Coachella after-party, but an award show is a different level.

He's also gearing up to headline his first musical festival since Astroworld at the Primera Sound festival -- where he is expected to perform in front of more than 100,000 people.

As you know ... Travis, Astroworld promoter Live Nation, and others have been hit with several lawsuits after 10 people tragically died at the Astrowold festival, last November.

The investigation continues into who was responsible for those that died ... and Travis maintains he was unaware of the severity of things at the time.

Speaking of comebacks ... we've told you, Country music singer, Morgan Wallen, will also be performing his first gig since 2020 at this year's Billboard Awards ...  after he came under fire for saying the 'n-word'.

The show is slated for May 15.

FDNY Pro-Life Guy Wearing Our Gear ... Is NOT Within Our Ranks!!!

NEW YORK POSER

A man screaming pro-life rhetoric at pro-choice protesters in New York might've looked like he worked at the Fire Department -- but the agency is denying it ... saying, he ain't with us.

You've probably seen this video by now -- it shows a man standing next to a few others on the front steps of the St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in Lower Manhattan ... and arguing with demonstrators upset about the leaked Roe v. Wade opinion, which threatens to overturn it.

It would be no big deal if not for what the guy said -- namely, that the women screaming "our body, our choice" didn't actually have a choice ... and that their bodies weren't theirs.

It's pretty wild, and what this fella is saying is absolutely abhorrent -- going well beyond a civil debate on the matter and just diving straight into misogynistic territory ... which is why people were alarmed when they saw a bunch of FDNY patches and branding on his sweater.

Of course, some thought he might, in fact, be a firefighter in the Big Apple ... and were rightly outraged and demanding answers from the department. Well, they got it -- and the response is ... this man is NOT one of our own.

An FDNY rep says the guy wearing their sweatshirt isn't in their ranks, adding that his comments don't reflect the views of their firefighters. They're looking into how he might've gotten his hands on an FDNY garment in the first place -- but emphasize, it ain't their man.

YG Felony Robbery Case Dismissed

YG is off the hook for an alleged robbery in Sin City ... his criminal case was just dismissed on the morning of jury selection.

Sources close to the rapper tell TMZ ... YG settled out of court with the alleged robbery victim, and the guy was no longer interested in cooperating with prosecutors in the criminal case.

TMZ broke the story ... YG was facing a felony robbery charge for allegedly yanking a dude's chain off his neck in a 2018 altercation at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, before making off with the diamond-laced pendant.

We're told YG maintained he never stole the chain from the man, though he admitted the bling snapped off when the two were in a fight.

YG’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ … "Justice was served expeditiously, we would've had the same result if the case went to trial."

It's not the first time something like this has happened ... as we first told you back in January, prosecutors in Los Angeles declined to file charges against him because there wasn't enough evidence to link him to another alleged robbery.

Adreian Payne Former MSU Star Dead At 31 ... Shot And Killed In Florida

UPDATE

11:05 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained Dority's mug shot. Jail records show he's still in custody.

UPDATE
UPDATE

9:15 AM PT -- Police tell TMZ Sports ... Payne was shot and killed early Monday morning in Florida.

UPDATE

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a report of a shooting at around 1:37 AM and discovered Payne suffering from a gunshot wound.

UPDATE

Cops say Payne was transported to a hospital, but later died there.

UPDATE

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says 29-year-old Lawrence Dority was identified as the shooter ... and was ultimately arrested on a warrant for first-degree murder.

Former Michigan State men's basketball star Adreian Payne has died ... his former teammate announced on Monday. He was just 31 years old.

Details surrounding the death have not yet been revealed ... but Jared Sullinger -- the former Ohio State Buckeyes star who played with Payne at some point in their basketball careers -- announced the sad news via his Twitter page.

"Hate the news i received this morning…." Sullinger said in a tweet. "Rest Easy to my brother/Teammate @Adreian_Payne."

Payne became a massive star for the Spartans after arriving on the East Lansing campus in 2010 ... recording 16.4 points per game and 7.3 rebounds in his senior season in 2013. That year, Payne helped lead MSU to an Elite Eight appearance.

Adreian went on to be taken by the Atlanta Hawks with the #15 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He bounced around the Association for several years after that, before eventually moving overseas to play professionally.

Payne last played for Juventus Utena in Lithuania in the 2021-22 season.

Off the basketball court, Payne was perhaps best known for his relationship with 8-year-old cancer patient Lacey Holsworth. Adreian befriended her while at MSU, and the two grew so close, they referred to each other as brother and sister.

In fact, Holsworth -- who later passed away in 2014 -- joined Payne on his senior night at Michigan State.

Famed college basketball head coach Archie Miller mourned Payne's death on Twitter on Monday ... writing, "Sad to hear the passing of Adreian Payne this morning."

"Started watching him while he was in 10th grade, remember his grandmother on his visit. Loved seeing him develop at Michigan St. and become an NBA player. [Prayers] for his loved ones, Spartans, and Dayton, OH. #RipAP"

The two hit Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica Sunday, RiRi wore a sparkling set with lots of cutouts, but made sure to stay warm with a fur shawl. It'll be Rihanna's last Mother's Day without a kiddo of her own ... as it's expected she'll give birth in the next few weeks.

Rihanna and A$AP are frequent fliers at Giorgio Baldi -- it's actually one of her favorite places to grab dinner -- but one thing's for sure ... there are ALWAYS cameras there, so you gotta imagine RiRi knew they'd get her flashy fit.

Of course, pregnancy hasn't slowed RiRi down much. She and A$AP recently enjoyed visiting family and friends in her hometown of Barbados.

Rih was also spotted backstage, showing support for A$AP while he headlined the Smoker's Club Festival just days after his surprise arrest in L.A. As you know, Rih and A$AP announced they were expecting back in January, she and Rocky have been dating since 2020.

NYT Sorry for Having 'Fetus' on Wordle It Was An Accident, Guys!!!

Abortion rights were top of mind for many this past week -- and, for a moment, it seemed to be on the New York Times' mind as well ... because a buzzword was worked into Wordle.

Here's the deal ... some Wordle users on Monday reported that the word of the day turned out to be "fetus," which sparked a lot of outrage and speculation that perhaps the Times had purposely plugged that in to make a point about the recent Roe v Wade news.

As you might imagine ... folks didn't think it was funny, and couldn't quite fathom why the NYT would jam that word in amid a very high-tension time in the country. Obviously, reproductive rights are no laughing matter -- especially when they're at risk of being repealed at the federal level.

Lo and behold, the Times didn't do this to provoke the masses -- the paper came out Monday and clarified what exactly had happened ... and it sounds like a case of pre-loaded 5-letter answers that they weren't able to scrub before some players discovered it.

As editor Everdeen Mason notes, "But because of the current Wordle technology, it can be difficult to change words that have already been loaded into the game.

She adds, "When we discovered last week that this particular word would be featured today, we switched it for as many solvers as possible" ... going to explain that the point of Wordle is to escape and entertain, not to focus on the news. EM also seemed to apologize to users.

There's also a way to make sure you don't come across this potentially triggering word -- all you gotta do is refresh your browser, and that'll do the trick.

Elon Musk If I Die Under Mysterious Circumstnces, It's the Russians

Elon Musk thinks the Russian government is out to get him -- maybe kill him -- and he's exposing the threat he received that supports his theory.

Elon just tweeted, "If I die under mysterious circumstances, it's been nice knowin ya."

As for what prompted the tweet, a guy named Dmitry Rogozin, Chief of Russia's Space Agency, sent a statement to Russian media accusing Elon of assisting Ukraine in Russia's brutal war against the country.

Rogozin accused Elon of being "involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment."

And then, the ominous warning ... “And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult – no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”

As for linking Rogozin's statement to Elon's tweet, it's pretty obvious ... Elon tweeted 6 minutes after Rogozin released his statement.

Elon's SpaceX Starlink terminals are now being used by Ukrainian forces to keep the Internet and therefore communications strong as Russia tries to disable it. It's a critical link in fighting the war.

Rogozin went on ... “From the testimony of the captured commander of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it turns out that the internet terminals of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite company were delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian Marines in Mariupol by military helicopters.”

Musk's mom, Maye, was shaken by Elon's tweet, responding, "That's not funny."

It's dangerous being Elon Musk.

Cardi B Time for Mother's Day ... Here's Some Mom Advice for RiRi

a mother's touch
TMZ.com

Cardi B was the perfect person to ask about mommy duty on Mother's Day -- especially since Rihanna is about to become one herself -- and her sage advice is ... (cue video).

The rapper was leaving Carbone Sunday night in NYC next to her hubby, Offset, and at least one of their kids (looks like Kulture) ... and Cardi chopped it up with our photog before getting into her waiting SUV about a lot of stuff, including words of wisdom for mom-to-be RiRi.

Check it out ... she says motherhood is something that comes pretty naturally, and she thinks the same will happen for Rihanna when the baby comes -- which should be any day now.

We also asked about Roe v. Wade, but she wasn't as chatty about that. What she did clarify, however, was her stance on fame ... and seemingly being done with it, which she alluded to about a week or so ago in sorta dramatic fashion.

Luckily, CB sets the record straight with us about what she meant ... and it sounds like she was mostly referring to her online presence more than anything. So, no -- Cardi's not scrapping music altogether. Good to hear!

ALWAYS IN TROUBLE

BTW, we're told the watch she flashes at the beginning of this -- which was a gift from Offset -- is an Audemars Piguet ... and it cost him upwards of $300k. Happy wife, indeed.

Canelo Alvarez didn't let a hard-fought battle in the ring keep him from singing his heart out at the club on Saturday -- the boxing superstar hit up a Vegas club for some amazing karaoke after losing to Dmitry Bivol ... and TMZ Sports has the vid!!

Alvarez was in great spirits just hours after going up against the undefeated Russian boxer at his his official Hennessey afterparty at Resorts World's Zouk nightclub ... singing along to Mexican hits like his go-to song, "Eso y Más" by Joan Sebastian.

This is pretty much a tradition at this point -- Canelo serenaded his wife, Fernanda Gómez, at the same club after he beat Caleb Plant back in November ... wowing the crowd with his pipes.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Of course, Canelo went up a weight class to take on the hardest challenge he could realistically fight ... and while it didn't go his way, he gave it everything he had for 12 rounds.

We're told Canelo and his crew rolled in around 2 AM and enjoyed bottle service for a few hours ... with the boxer singing for all to hear for about 30 minutes -- with a special appearance by actor Diego Boneta!!

Alvarez is known to be humble in both victory and defeat ... and this video further proves it.

Blac Chyna Mom Tokyo Toni Says ... We Have a New Show!!!

LOTS IN THE WORKS
TMZ.com

Blac Chyna might be down, but she's not out -- at least according to her mom, who says the mother-daughter duo is teaming up yet again ... and going full David Letterman.

We spoke to Tokyo Toni in the aftermath of Chyna losing her court case against the Kardashians -- a brutal defeat that's surely going to be costly for her -- and our photog asked the obvious ... is there any chance BC will be on TV again???

The answer, per Toni, is ... absolutely! In fact, she dropped kind of a big nugget on us -- saying the two of them are actually getting right back to work for a new show that's quite different from what they've done before, which were more reality-based programs.

Unlike those other ventures -- including "The Real Blac Chyna" and "Tokyo Toni's Finding Love ASAP!" -- TT tells us here that the upcoming series is a talk show ... where both mom and daughter sit down with guests and get the tea.

As you see, Toni's stoked about it ... and even invites us, TMZ, onto the show for a sit-down -- to which we say, why the heck not?!? Even more interesting is that Toni says this is going to be carried on her very own network -- dubbed SHN.

Assuming this comes to fruition the way Toni describes it, Chyna's nonchalant attitude from the other day makes a bit more sense ... apparently, she's got some things in the pipeline, and has reason to be happy -- even after her across-the-board defeat before a jury.

The one thing you can't say about Chyna and Toni is that they aren't hustlers -- these gals are always on the grind, and we're curious to see their next on-screen chapter. Congrats!

Dwayne Haskins Wife Gets Sleeve Of Tats Honoring QB ... After His Death

Dwayne Haskins' wife, Kalabrya, is continuing to honor her late husband in the aftermath of his tragic death by getting several tattoos -- including one of the former NFL player's face -- on her arms.

Kalabrya, who married Dwayne in 2021, showed off the new ink over the weekend ... revealing she got a picture of Haskins, his autograph, and several of his handwritten notes inked on her shoulder and forearm areas.

The tats take up most of Kalabrya's limbs ... with Dwayne's face covering the top of one of her shoulders.

The handwritten notes, meanwhile, went on her forearms and wrists. The messages featured loving words that Haskins had appeared to write her while the two were dating.

"Wearing my heart on my sleeve..." Kalabrya said in a caption of the pictures on her social media page.

Kalabrya has continuously honored Dwayne since he tragically died on April 9. She's posted messages to him on her social media pages and also released a dove at his memorial service in Pittsburgh in late April.

Nas Performs at Carbone in Miami ... Packed with Celebs

THIS IS NAS' NIGHT
TMZ.com

Nas went from a King of New York to an Emperor in Miami this weekend -- the guy headlined a banger of a show to round out the Formula 1 event in town ... and killed it.

The rapper took the stage Sunday at Carbone Beach, where the whole joint went on a trip down memory lane to some of his early hits in the '90s ... including a ton of 'Illmatic' tracks that the crowd was vibing to in what appears to have been a pretty intimate setting.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Speaking of that audience ... it was about as star-studded as they come. Some of the A-listers in attendance -- DJ Khaled, Venus Williams, Jamie Foxx, Hailee Steinfeld, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Busta Rhymes, Lindsey Vonn, Kevin Love, LeBron James, Rich Paul, Maverick Carter, Meek Mill, Timbaland, and Karrueche Tran ... among others.

Nas himself played to the spectators throughout his set, all while holding some sort of beverage in his hand. Looks like it was a boozy affair -- just about everyone seemed to have a cocktail to themselves.

BACK ON STAGE

Definitely a great way to end the week, and Nas's performance is right up there with Travis Scott's show from Saturday night ... where the guy rocked the mic in full capacity, the first since he's done a show like that since Astroworld.

If there was any question about it before, it's answered now ... Miami was the place to be.

Tristan Thompson Send Ex's Mom, Kris Jenner, A Bouquet Of Roses ... Happy Mother's Day!!!

Seems like Tristan Thompson is cleverly trying to win back his ex, Khloe Kardashian, by nuzzling up to the person in the seat of power -- Kris Jenner.

Kris shared a photo of the pink and white roses she received for Mom's Day, thanking Tristan for the bouquet and saying she loved him. Of course, this comes 5 months after TT and Maralee Nichols welcomed a child together ... super problematic for his relationship with Khloe.

It's interesting ... TT didn't post any tribute to Khloe, with whom he shares a child, as he has in recent years. It's also unclear if Khloe got a Mother's Day gift from him.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott went all out on the Mother's Day celebration for Kylie Jenner. Kylie posted a photo with their daughter, Stormi ... surrounded by all-white décor and a sea of white flowers, sitting poolside.

Kylie, who welcomed their second child in February, seemed to be impressed by Travis' effort. She shared details of the decorations all over her IG, calling it the sweetest Mother's Day.

Kendrick Lamar Becomes O.J., Will, Ye & Jussie ... In New Music Video

Kendrick Lamar is a man of many faces, including some very famous ones he features in his new music video ... addressing the most infamous moments of the past few years.

KL dropped a song Sunday called 'The Heart Part 5,' where he talks about the culture at lightning-quick speed, hopscotching through different scenarios and employing the monikers of celebs to make his point -- including Will Smith, Kanye West and Jussie Smollett.

It's true ... the video shows Kendrick's face change to all of these men at different points in the song, using some fancy technology that we suppose you could equate to a deep fake.

He also features O.J. Simpson briefly while bringing up a "bulletproof Rover," seemingly referencing the Ford Bronco from way back when. Then, he transitions to Ye's face while mentioning "friends bipolar," and finally to Jussie as he says "the streets got me f***ed up."

Eventually, his face becomes Will's as he raps this ... "In the land where hurt people hurt more people // F*** callin' it culture." Of course, he's addressing the Oscars slap there.

There are two other stars he morphs into ... the late Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle. In both instances, he's referring to death and reflecting on the legacy he leaves behind ... praying it's a worthy one.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The Nipsey line is especially telling ... Kendrick raps, "To my brother, to my kids, I'm in Heaven // To my mother, to my sis, I'm in Heaven// To my father, to my wife, I am serious, this is Heaven" ... going on to say he forgives the killer who sped up his demise.

In this instance, he appears to be rapping as Nipsey ... and addressing Nipsey's alleged murderer, Eric Holder. Lots of food for thought in this one -- K.Dot's new album drops Friday.

French Montana Accused of Ripping Off Lyrics in 'Handstand' ... Threatened with Lawsuit

French Montana could be getting dragged to court soon 'cause a rapper is accusing him of stealing his lyrics ... and, he is demanding French settles it soon, or else.

'Hot Boys' rapper Turk had his lawyers fire off a demand letter to French Montana's lawyer, claiming French ripped some of their client's lyrics for his 2021 song, "Handstand".

According to the letter, obtained by TMZ ... Tab Virgil Jr., aka Turk, claims French lifted lyrics from his group's 1999 hit, "I Need A Hot Girl" without permission ... and say, FM's track with the stolen lyrics has already scored more than 17 million views on YouTube.

In case you didn't know, The Hot Boys was a hip hop group formed in the '90s ... the members were Lil Wayne, B.G., Juvenile, and Turk.

The song, "I Need A Hot Girl", was a huge hit for the group and even appeared on Billboards Hot 100.

In French Montana's song, Doja Cat and Saweetie join him to sing "I need a project b****, a hood rat b****. One don't give a f*** and say she took that d***". These are close to the exact lyrics Turk claims he wrote and performed in the throwback song.

A source with direct knowledge tells us French had actually purchased the beat and the hook with the understanding all was clear. However, there must've been some sort of confusion ... nonetheless, we're told French's team is already working to rectify the situation.

Turk's attorney, Paul M. Aloise Jr. of the Brooks LeBoeuf law firm, says they're willing to settle out of court ... so hopefully all will be resolved soon.
