CBS

James Corden delivered a tearful monologue Thursday night on "The Late Late Show," talking about the beginning of the end of his long-running show.

James got his audience excited, telling them he signed a new contract, before flipping to the bad side of that coin -- as we reported, it'll be his final year with James at the helm.

While fighting back tears, he said the show changed his life ... he never saw a talk show as a final destination for him, and believes next year will be a great time for him to move on.

This is one of the hardest decisions James has had to make ... but he reassured the crowd the end is farther away than it feels -- the 'Late Late' team is determined to make this the best year they've ever had.

As we reported, James announced his departure hours before his show. He confessed leaving had been on his mind for a while -- CBS honchos were gunning for a 3-year extension on his contract, but the host agreed to only 1.

Following his announcement, Corden's fellow late-night star, Stephen Colbert, gave his comrade a sweet send-off on Twitter, while joking about his next onscreen job.

Amanda Bynes Growing Fears Over Fiance's Temper

Amanda Bynes is in a potentially dangerous environment, with growing concern among friends and family over her fiance's inability to control his temper ... they worry the relationship could end in violence.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us ... people close to Amanda have witnessed Paul Michael's anger firsthand, saying he flies off the handle way too much.

Our sources say Paul has a history of outbursts, including an incident a couple weeks back when he allegedly vandalized his mom's house. We're told Wednesday night's fight between Amanda and Paul escalated because of his temper. She called police to express concerns for her safety, and then he called.

As you know, Amanda's parents recently agreed the actress should be freed from her conservatorship. We're told her parents still stand by their decision, as Amanda continues to do well on her own, but the concern is now over Paul.

TMZ broke the story ... cops were called to Amanda's home early Thursday morning after a dispute. Neither was arrested, but Amanda went to social media and claimed Paul was watching "Mom and Son" porn and doing crack. She later walked those allegations back.

We got photos later Thursday of the two back together and affectionate ... but her loved ones think the rollercoaster relationship needs to end.

'Selling Sunset's Mary Fitzgerald Christine Quinn's COVID Claims are BS!!! She's No Good For The Office

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?!
TMZ.com

"Selling Sunset" star Mary Fitzgerald has had it with co-star Christine Quinn's lies and drama, and her COVID cry is the nail in the coffin.

We got Mary outside The Oppenheim Group office Wednesday ... and she's convinced Christine's recent COVID reveal -- which she says caused her to miss the reunion show -- is just a shady way to back out last-minute and avoid facing her fellow castmates.

Mary says the cast tested twice before the Sunday taping ... and according to Mary, Christine came back negative both times. Mind you, the last test was on Friday, but Christine says the next day she tested positive.

While Christine is undeniably an important character on the show, Mary admits it hasn't been pleasant to work with her in the office.

We also got Christine's boss, Jason Oppenheim, outside the office, but mum's the word on his thoughts about the COVID drama.

He wants everyone to be a team player and show up for filming, but he gets the other side of the coin -- Christine's been going through a lot with almost every cast member ganging up on her.

As we reported, Christine was on a film set 3 days after the reunion taping ... after her rep told us about Saturday's positive test. The CDC recommends 5 days of quarantine after a positive COVID test.

Joe Exotic Wedding Planning Full Steam Ahead ... I'm Wearin' a Prison Tux!!!

Joe Exotic is getting ready to serve looks while he's serving time ... because a fashion designer is creating a getup that is perfect for tying the knot behind bars!!!

Odain Watson of Odaingerous tells TMZ … Joe's attorneys reached out to him to talk design options for Joe and his fiancé John Graham. The all-white tuxedos will be crafted in Italy and run $11.5K a pop.

Each jacket has a custom silk tiger print lining -- Joe gets the pink version while fiancé John will be sporting a more traditional style.

Unclear if Joe will be able to get his measurements taken -- you know, prison and all --  so Odain will probably have to work off a model of a similar height and weight.

The two have worked together in the past ... the 'Tiger King' star signed a deal with Odaingerous in 2020, releasing streetwear, custom shoes and even a line of underwear. The top seller was the limited edition "Casket Baskin" boxer briefs ... which depict blood-red ice cream in a cone reminiscent of Baskin-Robbins.

The wedding can't go down for 4 to 6 weeks ... that's the length of time it takes to make the tuxes. Hopefully, there won't be supply chain issues.

As we reported, John met Joe while serving time at FMC Fort Worth in Texas ... the bond they have could only be described by Joe as similar to the one in "Twilight."

Spooky ... congrats!!!

Rob Gronkowski Still Up In Air About Football Future ... But 'Staying In Shape'

TMZSports.com

Rob Gronkowski tells TMZ Sports he's no closer to making a decision on his football future ... but he did admit he's "staying in shape a little bit" just in case.

Tom Brady's all-time favorite target broke it down with Mojo and Babcock on the TMZ Sports show this week -- just days before he's set to throw his "Gronk Beach" bash in Las Vegas.

The tight end says, for now, he's still relaxing and enjoying his offseason -- and is completely up in the air about his gridiron future.

Gronk, though, did say he hasn't completely let himself go -- leaving the door open for a reunion with Brady in Tampa Bay in 2022.

"We'll see," Gronk said. "I'm staying in shape a little bit. So, we'll see if I don't get too out of shape either. That won't be good for me."

Gronkowski joked this weekend could be the one that ultimately kickstarts his prep for an NFL comeback ... saying he might catch some footballs at his Vegas party and get the itch to play again.

Gronk added that he's sure the fiesta will be a workout of its own, too.

"Gronk Beach may be the party that gets me back to football," Rob said with a smile. "Someone's going to throw me a pass on stage, I'll probably catch it, and be like, 'Man, I miss football.'"

Party goes down at Encore Beach Club on Friday ... could a decision follow soon after???

Stay tuned.

Uncle Frank Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire 'Memba Him?!

Harvey Fierstein was 40 years old when he played Uncle Frank -- the man responsible for helping magically transform his brother, Daniel, into an elderly housekeeper so he could see his kids -- in the classic 1993 family film "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Fierstein was cast alongside the legendary Robin Williams as the father and recent divorcee trying to make up for his childish behavior, Daniel Hillard, Sally Field as the mother who finds herself wanting a divorce from her husband, Miranda Hillard, and Pierce Brosnan as the new man in Miranda's life, Stu.

Guess what he looks like today at 69 years old!

2022 NFL Draft The Pick Is In ... Jaguars Take Travon Walker #1!!!

It's official ... with the #1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Travon Walker!!!

Roger Goodell just announced the selection on a stage built near the strip in Las Vegas ... officially making the Georgia defensive end the newest Jag.

Of course, the pick is not a total surprise ... most experts' mock drafts in recent weeks have had Walker projected to go #1 overall.

The selection of Walker marks the second time in two years that the Jaguars have picked at the top of the draft -- remember, Jacksonville took Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence #1 in 2021.

Walker, meanwhile, is expected to be getting after quarterbacks right away in Duval. The guy was a star for the Bulldogs in his three seasons in Athens, recording 61 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble in his career.

He also helped UGA beat Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in January's National Championship ... registering three total tackles and one sack in the game.

Doug Pederson and Jaguars fans everywhere are certainly hoping that kind of production continues in Florida in 2022.

Congrats, Travon!

Halyna Hutchins Sheriff Hasn't Axed Death Video ... Despite Husband's Demand

The Sheriff in the "Rust" shooting investigation is apparently telling the widower and son of Halyna Hutchins to pound sand, because the video the Sheriff released showing Halyna slowly dying after being shot is still available for viewing on the official website.

TMZ broke the story, Matthew Hutchins' lawyer, Brian Panish, fired off a blistering email Wednesday to Sheriff Adan Mendoza, demanding he takes down the video footage of Halyna dying on the church floor on the set of "Rust."

But, as of this post, the video was still live on the link provided by the Sheriff.

Halyna's husband ripped Sheriff Mendoza, saying he trampled the family's dignity and privacy by releasing the footage and other evidence in the "Rust" shooting case.

The footage shows Halyna bleeding as medics frantically tend to her ... and her husband argues it will cause irreparable harm to both him and their 9-year-old son Andros.

The family lawyer claims Mendoza had promised to let Halyna's husband review all the material from the case before its release, but he says the Sheriff double-crossed the family by releasing all the evidence without giving Matthew a chance to take a look first and weigh in.

We've learned the Sheriff hasn't even responded to attorney Panish's demand.

Unclear when the video will be taken down, if ever.

James Corden Goodbye 'Late Late Show'

James Corden is saying goodbye to "The Late Late Show" in 2023 ... quite the shock since the show has been hugely popular for CBS.

James said the departure has been on his mind for a while, according to Deadline. He always thought he'd do the show for 5 years and then pass the torch to someone else, but he just kept cranking. When he pulls the plug, he'll have hosted for nearly 9 years.

The show has actually been more successful on YouTube than on the network. His 'Carpool Karaoke' with Adele racked up more than 250 million views. The romp with One Direction scored 189 million views. The show's YouTube page has more than 10 BILLION views with 27 million subscribers.

CBS honchos didn't let James go without a fight. They were gunning for a 3-year extension on his contract, but Corden agreed to only one year.

JC says there are things he'd like to accomplish post-exit, like writing. He also gives thanks to his crew for being some of the most talented people he's ever met.

CBS President and CEO, George Cheeks, is singing Corden's praises, saying he took TV by storm ... and his unique segments like 'Carpool Karaoke' and 'Crosswalk the Musical' reimagined what the late-night format could bring to a modern audience.

He's given his staff plenty of heads-up before the show comes to an end -- they've got around 200 more episodes to knock out before their finale next year.

Christina Haack Ant Denied Bid For Full Custody Bashes Her as a Mom

UPDATE

5:41 PM PT -- Ant has just been denied his bid for full custody, at least for now.

UPDATE

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the judge says Ant will still have a chance to make his case for temporary full custody at a hearing in June, but Christina also needs a chance to argue her side of things before any changes are made.

Ant Anstead believes "Flip or Flop" star Christina Haack has created a dangerous environment for their son -- putting him at medical risk and using him as a social media pawn -- so he's asking a judge for full custody.

In explosive docs, obtained by TMZ, Ant says Christina has been mostly absent from 2-year-old Hudson's life -- spending an average of "9 full days each month" with him over the last 20 months.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Not only that, Ant claims when Christina does have Hudson in her care, she blasts him all over social media, including in paid posts, and he wants the judge to make it stop.

Ant says earlier this month, after spending time with Christina, Hudson came back with an awful sunburn that was so bad it left him crying in pain ... Anstead claims when he texted Christina about it, she responded, " ... it didn't feel hot. Give him some Tylenol im sure it will be better tomorrow."

Ant also says back in January, she returned Hudson to him without disclosing her family all had COVID. He says, "At the time my partner (who we know is Renée Zellweger) was filming her new project and her covid diagnosis placed the whole production on pause."

Then he gets into Christina's escapade with hallucinogenic toad venom. As we reported, she revealed back in July she had taken the drug ... Ant uses it as another example of Christina's ability to be an unsafe parent.

Ant says they currently have a shared arrangement for Hudson, but he's now asking for full custody -- with Christina getting alternating weekends ... he also wants the judge to prevent her from posting Hudson in any "commercial endeavor" unless he agrees to it.

Christina tells us, "What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them."

Blac Chyna Denied Chance to Redo Testimony ... Trial Going to Jury

Blac Chyna won't get another shot to take the stand in her lawsuit against the Kardashians ... because the judge just denied her bid to take the stand again.

Chyna wanted a redo on her testimony because she claimed she was triggered by the Kardashians' lawyer presenting her old nude photos in court while questioning her about the revenge porn pics Rob posted. She says from that point on, her testimony was derailed.

But, Thursday the judge shot down Chyna's request, and now the trial is wrapping up. Before breaking for lunch, jurors got instructions.

Closing arguments are on tap after the break, and then the jury will begin deliberations.

Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner have been present in court all day, and they were recently joined in the room by Kylie Jenner.

It's been a wild ride, but we're in the home stretch!

2022 NFL Prospects Drip Too Hard ... At Draft In Vegas

The NFL Draft is here -- and since the big event is in Vegas this year, the draftees had to make sure their fashion game was on point ... and they certainly didn't disappoint!!

Aside from the picks and wild moves, the most talked about part of the night is always the swaggy 'fits these future superstars decide to wear when their names are called ... and lucky for you, we got the best looks all in one place.

Getting things started off is Cincinnati DB Ahmad Gardner who lived up to his nickname by rockin' a baby blue suit, white shirt and some bling that says "SAUCE" in all caps.

Utah Utes linebacker, Devin Lloyd, is photoshoot fresh with a black shirt and custom burgundy suit -- which appears to have different pictures of his career and personal highlights.

21-year-old Kayvon Thibodeaux hit the red carpet to chat with Hall of Famer Michael Irvin and Melissa Stark ... wearing a Dolce & Gabbana suit and shoes from Italy.

Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams is wearing a red suit with a white shirt ... and as for the feets, he's sportin' some red and white Louis Vuitton trainers.

FYI, on the G.O.A.T. app, the kicks Williams has on his feet cost about $5K.

Jermaine Johnson II, a defensive end for Florida State, pulled up to draft donning a smooth gold and black blazer with black pants and black loafers.

Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal has his hometown of Okeechobee in Florida literally woth him for his big moment ... with the city's name designed on the inside of his blazer.

USC star wideout Drake London has a flashy chain with his initials "DL" on it ... as he's wearing a burgundy suit with a white shirt and handkerchief

Draft Day is here ... so buckle up, we've got you covered on the whole thing.

LeBron James Who Needs The Playoffs?!? ... Shows Off Shredded Bod In Maldives

Maybe LeBron James is cool with the Lakers missing the playoffs after all -- the King just took his closest friends on a jaw-dropping getaway to the Maldives ... and the vacation looked insane.

Okay, let's be real -- the 4-time champ definitely wishes he was making another run at an NBA title right now ... but hitting up a private island instead definitely doesn't suck.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Bron posted a ton of footage from the trip ... which included bike rides, soaking in the beach waters, riding on boats and enjoying all the food and drink the group could handle.

The group included James' wife, Savannah, longtime trusted friend Ernie Ramos and his wife, Klutch Sports COO Fara Leff, DJ Bamboozle and more.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

It was a trip that most people can only dream of ... and we're assuming the whole thing cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

But, don't expect these kinds of getaways to happen this early in the calendar year in the future -- LeBron has vowed to never miss the playoffs again for as long as he's in the NBA.

College Baseball Team Cleared In Paint Thinner Probe ... Police Say

Law enforcement officials have determined no one affiliated with the Bethany College and Kansas Wesleyan University baseball teams was responsible for allegedly dumping paint thinner into a water cooler during a game this week, TMZ Sports has learned.

The Lindsborg Police Department says it conducted more than 60 interviews, collected multiple pieces of evidence, photographed the scene, and followed various leads in its investigation.

A spokesperson for LPD says the dept. ruled that no one associated with either school -- Bethany College or KWU -- was responsible for tampering with the water cooler.

Police say they have, however, identified two male juveniles as being involved in the incident, but are still actively investigating the situation.

As we previously reported, KWU filed a police report with LPD on April 24 ... after they found an unknown substance in their men's baseball team's water cooler.

In the report, Kansas Wesleyan is named as a victim several times ... with offenses listed such as: criminal threat; contaminated food/water sources, battery; knowing/recklessly causing bodily harm, criminal damage to property.

No suspects were named in the initial report.

An alleged picture of the water cooler made rounds on social media ... showing a foreign substance floating inside the liquid.

According to the statement, Bethany College also filed a report with LPD that same night in reference to KWU's water cooler being possibly tampered with.

Police say both colleges agreed to cooperate with the investigation ... and won't be providing any further details at this time.

Amber Heard Has Donated Way Less Than $3.5 Mil Pledge, So Far ... ACLU Says In Depp Trial

Amber Heard is getting called out in court for allegedly failing to follow through on a huge donation to charity -- the ACLU says she gave them less than half of her $3.5 million pledge -- though she's still got a few years left to fulfill that promise.

Here's the deal ... when Amber reached a divorce settlement with Johnny Depp back in 2016, she announced she would donate her entire $7 million payout to charity, splitting it between the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the ACLU ... to be paid within 10 years.

Amber's pledge was revisited Thursday in Depp's defamation trial against Heard ... with ACLU honcho Terence Dougherty saying the non-profit received 4 donations in Amber's name, totaling only $1.3 million.

042822_depp_vs_heard_court_kal
LACK OF DONATION

What's more, Dougherty says Amber only gave the ACLU $350k directly, while Depp wrote them a check for $100k. The ACLU says the other payments included $500k from a donor-advised fund at Vanguard and $350k from a donor-advised fund at Fidelity.

And, get this ... Dougherty says the ACLU believes the $500k payment was actually from a fund set up by Elon Musk, whom Amber dated after her split from Depp.

Dougherty said Elon emailed the ACLU's executive director, Anthony Romero, back in 2016 indicating Amber would donate the $3.5 million over 10 years, but he says 2019 was the last year the ACLU got a donation from Heard.

They also say she held back from released her op-ed until the release of "Aquaman" to capitalize on publicity for the film.

It's just another juicy nugget in a trial full of 'em ... like this bizarre testimony Wednesday from Johnny and Amber's former doorman, Alejandro Romero.

COURTROOM CLOUDS

In a pre-recorded deposition played in court, Romero smoked from a vape pen while driving and recalled the time Amber thought someone was breaking into their home, when it turned out to just be a dog scratching at the door.

The jury laughed as the video played in court, and it even got a reaction from the judge ... who called it a first in her time on the bench.

UPDATE

In the docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Covington says Masvidal struck him with his hands or fists and "knowingly or intentionally" caused him "great bodily harm."

The two attorneys say as part of the order, Masvidal has now been barred from going within 25 feet of Colby.

We're told Cohen, Padilla and Masvidal had no objections to the order ... with the attorneys telling us they "understand [Colby] is scared of Masvidal."

At the hearing, Masvidal also formally pled not guilty to charges that he attacked Covington outside of a restaurant in Miami on March 21.
