This is actually a really sad story so hold the chuckles ... a North Carolina dog was abandoned and sent to an animal shelter because its owner thought the pooch was gay.

Fezco is held up at the shelter in Stanly County after his owners caught him humping another male hound.

Of course, the owners' reaction is absurd ... dogs do this for dominance, and even if Fezco was gay, so what?

The shelter has posted Fezco's story on Facebook, assuring prospective owners he's a good boy and kind to people and his peers alike.

The 5-year-old doggie will almost certainly get a home ... and according to WCCB TV, applications are apparently flooding in.

"Vanderpump Rules" stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz were back together just days after they told the world they split, but judging from their encounter, a reconciliation doesn't seem likely.

Katie and Tom hit up Mister O's Saturday in the San Fernando Valley -- Studio City to be specific. They were tucked away in a back corner on the outside patio and ordered drinks.

An eyewitness tells TMZ ... they seemed disinterested in each other, constantly looking down and examining their cellphones.

The eyewitness says there was zero evidence of affection ... they talked, but that was about it. They were there a fairly long time.

Katie and Tom announced their split this past Tuesday, ending their 12-year relationship. They got married on the Bravo show back in 2016. Turns out the TV wedding wasn't legit, so they hopped on a flight to Vegas 3 years later and tied the knot.

They had a pretty explosive relationship, with speed bumps that included cheating, raging texts ... stuff like that.

Spring Break in Miami Beach turned violent Saturday night ... after 2 people were shot and kids scrambled for their lives.

It all went down on famed Ocean Drive ... you hear the shots and people start running for their lives.

As for the shooting victims ... a woman was hit in the leg. The other person may have been more seriously hurt ... that person was carried out on a stretcher and taken to a hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening. We also don't know if cops caught the shooter.

It's been a tough Spring Break week ... three people were hurt after a shooting broke out in Texas.

Gabby Petito's parents are fighting to help other families whose loved ones have vanished by working with senators and governors to make a national missing persons database accessible everywhere.

Joe Petito, Gabby's father, tells TMZ ... national media coverage played a big role in his daughter's case, but he knows not everyone has that same benefit. Joe says every missing person deserves the same attention as Gabby, and that's why they're pushing for expanded use of the government program, NamUs.

NamUs is a national information resource center for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed people in the United States. The Department of Justice-funded program provides technology, forensic services and investigative support to resolve missing person and unidentified remains cases.

Currently eleven states must participate in NamUs, but all U.S. states can voluntarily participate.

Two months ago, Gabby's parents broke out a list of U.S. senators, and started calling all of them to muster support for expanding access to NamUs. Joe says they were overwhelmed by the wave of positive responses after getting through just half the list, and he adds ... they got the same reaction when they reached out to governors' offices.

Now, the family is speaking with policy teams for veteran Senators Elizabeth Warren, Ted Cruz and Dianne Feinstein ... just to name a few. So far, everyone seems open to creating legislation that includes NamUs, but Gabby's family won't be satisfied until bills are introduced federally and in every state.

Joe emphasizes this is not meant to be a partisan issue ... but something all Americans should rally around. More than 4 thousand unidentified remains are recovered every year, which hits home for him, as 7 bodies were discovered just during the search for Gabby.

As you'll recall, Gabby went missing on a road trip with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie. After a nationwide search and constant media coverage, Gabby's body was found in Wyoming a week after being reported missing.

Olympic legend Florence Griffith Joyner -- AKA Flo-Jo -- had her priceless memorabilia returned to Olympic gold medalist and husband Al Joyner ... and it's all thanks to "Storage Wars" Star Rene Nezhoda!

Rene tells TMZ ... after our story broke about his acquired collection, family members and friends of Flo-Jo started reaching out to him, including Al, hoping to buy it back.

Rene and Al met up in San Diego to strike a deal, with Rene making a profit much smaller than he could've snagged on the open market. Rene says the important thing was restoring the gold to the fam.

The item that held the most value to Al was her weight belt, something they'd use together working out. The belt was going in the trash after the locker -- originally owned by Al -- was picked through. Luckily, the piece was saved and it's back in Al's hands.

As we reported, Rene bought a ton of Flo-Jo's belongings and collectibles off of his pal George, who purchased Al's lockers at auction. Inside were Olympic jackets, autographed Flo-Jo Barbie dolls, and signed track shoes -- the same ones worn while breaking the world record!

It was in 1998 when Flo-Jo unexpectedly died of suffocation in her sleep after suffering an epileptic fit.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are taking the next step in their relationship, and it's a big one ... they're plunking down more than $50 MILLION on a spectacular estate ... real estate sources tell TMZ.

We've learned they're buying a 20,000 square foot estate in the ritzy Bel-Air area of Los Angeles. The home has 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms!!! It has multiple kitchens, a theatre, gym, his and hers bath, and on and on. Oh, of course, a pool.

The house is super private ... tucked away in a forest of trees. It has an incredible city view.

We're told they sealed the deal in the mid-$50 million range.

Our sources say it's not a done deal because there are still contingencies that must be satisfied.

It's a big move, and we're told the entire brood from both sides will be living there. It certainly seems like a precursor to marriage.

Jake Paul says his $60 million offer to get Kanye West and Pete Davidson to take their beef to the boxing ring is NOT a publicity stunt ... telling TMZ Sports he wants the two to stop fighting for the sake of Ye and Kim's kids.

We spoke to the "Problem Child" about his decision to get in the middle of the biggest feud of the year ... and he says he's worried about how Ye and Kim's kids will handle watching the two grown men bicker online.

"I'm kinda sick of them going back and forth on social media and I think its affecting the kids' lives, like Kanye and Kim's kids," Jake tells us. "They're gonna be the ones that take the most trauma from this."

Of course, Kanye's antics recently got him temporarily banned from Instagram ... and he's openly argued with Kim, Pete, Trevor Noah and more over the past few weeks.

Paul -- who's been outspoken about the positive benefits of boxing -- isn't making light of the situation ... he seriously thinks this could help end the beef for good and both sides can move on.

Jake says his Most Valuable Promotions will handle everything -- as long as they show up and do their thing in the ring, they'll get their $30 mill AND some pay-per-view bucks, too.

As for the money ... Jake says that's no problem, and he's already got financial backers involved ... even though he didn't need them.

"Everyone knows I was the highest-paid boxer last year," Jake says. "I can guarantee the money myself, but we have partners and stuff. The money's good."

Erica Campbell says if Kanye West is trying to be a man of God for Sunday Service, he should practice what he preaches during the week ... something she's just not seeing.

The 'Love Is Blind 2' couples who got married in the season finale didn't just get together for the TV cameras ... they actually did it all legal and stuff.

Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely, and Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl, all said "I do" on the show. But, the reality of reality TV is some things are just for show, though that's not quite the case in this instance. We checked with the Cook County Court in Illinois, and a rep tells us they have legit marriage records for BOTH couples.

Jarrette and Iyanna tied the knot on June 7, 2021 in Homewood, IL ... and the very next day they were followed by Nick and Danielle. Those couplings were, physically at least, shots in the dark, because they hadn't seen each other ... so, we know what you're thinking.

We also checked for divorce docs, and came up with zip.

As rabid "Love is Blind" fans surely know by now ... Jarrette, Iyanna, Nick and Danielle were the only couples who agreed to marriage when the show's second season wrapped up.

There's also been a reunion show, which made it look like both couples were still going strong in their relationships, and now we've got the receipts.

Under this smooshed celeb face lies a tanned man from the East Coast, and now it's up to your discretion to guess who the diamond-studded star is.

The reality star has been on television for over a decade and has been making his special 'juice' for even longer. His fresh, crisp white T-shirt just came out of the wash, as laundry is one of his favorite pastimes. Need one more clue on who this may be ... just think of 'beating up the beat.'

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are going back to court to settle who defamed who once and for all -- and their witness list includes a ton of A-listers ... who'll have to take the stand.

With the trial set to kick off next month in Virginia, just about all the legal docs are filed for witnesses and exhibits ... and reports say the likes of James Franco, Elon Musk and Paul Bettany, among others, are going to be dragged into court and be forced to testify.

Franco and Musk are on Amber's witness list -- this after Johnny alleged she'd had affairs with each of them during their marriage -- and they'll presumably speak on that. Both guys are said to be beaming in via video link ... so they won't be there in person.

"Animal Kingdom" actress Ellen Barkin is also on Heard's witness list, as are reps for huge orgs like Disney, Warner Bros, WME the ACLU and even the LAPD ... which will mostly offer records that she finds pertinent to help make her case.

For his part, Depp has Marvel actor Paul Bettany testifying on his behalf -- Bettany was also roped into the U.K. libel case that JD lost ... having old text messages they once exchanged read aloud in court. Ya gotta imagine they'll get into that again here.

There's more to be unearthed, including correspondence between Heard and her "Aquaman" costar Jason Momoa, director James Wan, director Zack Snyder and CAA chief Bryan Lourd. There are also emails between Depp and J.K. Rowling and Jack White that'll be addressed.

In case you need a refresher ... both exes are suing each other for defamation, and it seems the judge is going to hear each of their claims in one fell swoop, which is probably why there are so many witnesses/submitted evidence -- they're trying to bury this at long last.

This specific claim of defamation got started after Johnny sued Amber for $50 million following a WaPo op-ed piece in which she characterized herself as a victim of domestic violence ... without ever saying his name. Still, he felt that was enough to take her to court over.

Amber countersued for $100 mil, and despite each of them filing to have the other person's case tossed ... both cases have been given the green light to proceed.

Remember, this all follows a major blow JD suffered across the pond ... where he lost a libel case after a newspaper labeled him a "wifebeater," which a judge ruled was mostly true.

In spite of that, he's forging ahead in similar territory here in the States ... all in an attempt to clear his name and get his career back on track. As you know, he's claimed that Hollywood has blacklisted him in the wake of the U.K. ruling ... all while maintaining his innocence.

Bill Murray is being labeled as an old and out-of-touch guy after seemingly lamenting the fact we've had to wear masks during this pandemic ... likening it to a fear of death. 🤔

The actor recently did an interview with The Independent about his concert film that was shot in 2018 at the Acropolis of Athens, and while discussing it ... Bill and co. mention how it's like looking into a time capsule due to how carefree he and everyone else was.

With that in mind, the author says there's nothing quite like a pandemic to put the kibosh on spontaneous interaction -- and then right after, Bill is quoted as saying this ... "We just went out with our friend to walk the dog, and you're wearing a mask, everyone's wearing a mask. The dog is the only one who's completely alive!"

He adds, "He's living the dog's life. The rest of us are afraid to die, and afraid to kill, so we're masked up and we're injected, and so forth. It's the most challenging time of this life cycle for us."

Finally, BM compares how we've dealt with the pandemic with how previous generations dealt with global events, saying ... "We didn't have a world war or a depression, the things our ancestors had. This is the hand we got dealt and if you fold, you can't win."

Pretty cryptic on its face, but Twitter seems to know what Bill means here ... and they're tearing him apart over it, with many saying his comments are incredibly tone-deaf.

Bill might be misunderstood in this sitch, because he's spoken about COVID quite a bit over the past two years ... and not once has he come off as resentful about how the world reacted to the virus. If anything, he's been kinda optimistic and impressed.

Kanye West was apparently all set to perform at the Grammys, but his online antics have now gotten him barred ... so says the guy's own team and industry pals.

Ye's rep confirmed the news to Variety Saturday, saying it was true that the rapper wouldn't be hitting the stage in a few weeks. The reason cited ... his "concerning online behavior," which the Recording Academy clearly felt might translate to a fiasco in a live setting.

His involvement with the Grammys was something that hadn't been public until now -- earlier this week, the first round of official performers was announced, but KW wasn't on the list.

His rap buddy, The Game, let the cat out of the bag about this as well -- taking to IG with a lengthy caption decrying the decision to uninvite Ye ... likening it censorship and even invoking slavery.

He writes, in part ... "Time & time again they show us that they only want to STEAL the culture, not allow you to ever be their equals. In a more than obvious move for reasons of minuscule actions."

Game went on to muse about the reasons, including the fact Trevor Noah is hosting and that Kanye's account was suspended for 24 hours this week.

He adds, "Speak your mind in this country for yourself, family or your people & you're ostracized immediately & if you push them hard enough they will stop at no ends to try and put an end to you as a whole."

As you know ... this saga crescendoed when Kanye called Trevor a "k***" for taking him to task on his own show about how he was dealing with the divorce, including publicly airing out the family's business. TN speculated it could lead to real-world violence, or worse.

Kim Kardashian has a new line of SKIMS hitting the market ... and the people seem more than eager to get a taste.

Check out these lines that had formed early Saturday in the Miami design district outside of a pop-up store there that was all set to start hawking the brand's new line, just in time for summer. It's called SKIMS Swim ... so yes, her shapewear company is doing bathing suits.

As you can see ... the amount of people waiting to get their hands on some is insane -- the line literally snakes through a plaza courtyard and then around the block.

We've heard some people even waited there overnight to hold their spot ... and for good reason. The collection is almost all sold out at this point, save for a few pieces.

This is the first pop-up SKIMS has done in Miami, and it would seem the debut was well-received and then some by paying customers.

BTW, the line comes with a handful of color options -- in addition to SKIMS's known neutral skin tone colors, there are some others that really pop ... like cobalt blue and periwinkle violet.

Kim Kardashian is not a topic of conversation between Kanye West and his GF, who happens to be a dead ringer for KK, and she also says she's baffled by the fact people say there's a similarity between the two.

So yeah, hard to believe, right? But, Chaney Jones told our photog at LAX ... Kanye may be talking to the world about Kim, but not to her. Chaney seemed scared to even broach the subject, and referred us to Kanye to ask more about his ongoing attacks.

Even harder to swallow ... Chaney says she doesn't see a similarity between her and Kim.

Chaney has said on social media ... she's her own woman with her own interests. So, aside from the way she dresses (Balenciaga), the sunglasses (Rick Owens), the hair .... yeah, hard to see any similarity.

If she's a truthteller here ... it means Kanye's campaign against Kim, Pete, Trevor, D.L., and others is not the source of idle talk between the 2. Again, she seems super nervous to discuss.
