Buckcherry Tour Bus Crash Involved Three Separate Accidents, Highway Patrol Says
Buckcherry Tour Bus Crash Three Separate Accidents Involved in Fatal Wreck
Rock band Buckcherry's tour bus was caught up in a chaotic chain of three separate accidents on a South Carolina highway, which ended fatal, TMZ has learned.
South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesperson tells TMZ the series of crashes unfolded one after another. According to cops, the first accident was a single-car crash involving a male driver. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused him to crash.
The situation turned deadly moments later when the man got out of his vehicle and was struck by another motorist. The man was killed in the collision.
Police tell TMZ the driver who struck and killed the man was not arrested, and the circumstances surrounding that collision remain under investigation. Then, moments later, a third crash occurred -- this time involving Buckcherry's tour bus.
We're told the bus was involved in a whopping five-vehicle crash, with some people involved suffered minor injuries, but no one was taken to the hospital. The cause of that third collision is also under investigation.
The new details clarify the circumstances surrounding our previous report of Buckcherry's bus being involved in a fatal multi-vehicle crash. The band's members and touring crew were safe and unharmed, the band announced Friday.
The band is currently on tour and has continued its scheduled performances following the crash. The man who was killed has not been publicly identified.
The investigations into all three accidents remain ongoing.
