Dallas Mavericks Offering Ticket Refunds After Luka Doncic Trade
Dallas Mavericks Offering Refunds ... After Luka Trade
The Dallas Mavericks are pulling a shocking move -- offering refunds to season-ticket holders who want out of their plans following the Luka Doncic trade.
News of the team's gesture made rounds on Tuesday ... after plenty of Dallas fans expressed their disproval over sending the 25-year-old face of the franchise to the L.A. Lakers for Anthony Davis.
Apparently so many reacted by wanting to part ways with their seats, the Mavs want to make peace with the frustrated supporters ... by handing out checks for the remaining home games on the schedule this season.
The Mavs didn't flat-out confirm the refunds in a statement to local reporters ... saying, "We value every season ticket member relationship and reps are available to take calls from members with any concerns or questions."
But according to WFAA, at least one fan who hit up the team to cancel their tix was offered a refund.
It's a massive blow to lose Doncic, but at least Dallas isn't left empty-handed -- the Brow is one of the best players in the league and a future Hall of Famer.
Mavs fans might not wanna hear it, though ... as so many thought the five-time All-NBA First Team selection would spend the majority -- if not all -- of his career with the franchise.
At least they can wipe their tears with the refund dough??
