Sheets was at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood Friday where he announced that not only is he shooting for the new season of the show ... he just got engaged too!

Sheets' new fiance, Romney Snyder works for HiCaliber Horse Rescue, a group that saves horses from slaughter auctions ... so you can bet the two get along just fine.
