Dana White Fires Back at Floyd Mayweather 'You're the Cure for Insomnia'
Dana White ain't taking too kindly to Floyd Mayweather's shots at Conor McGregor -- blasting the boxing legend as one of the most boring fighters ever ... who needs to RESPECT the Irish stud.
After teasing a possible superfight with Conor earlier this year, Floyd has turned on McGregor -- saying the UFC star simply ain't in his league as a fighter and any comparisons are disrespectful.

So, we reached out to Dana ... who STRONGLY defended his superstar.
"Conor McGregor ... if he touches you, you go to sleep. Floyd puts people to sleep too, with his fighting style, not with his hands."
"You know how Floyd knocks people out? When they're not looking. Watch the Victor Ortiz fight."
White went on to praise McGregor.
"This kid's just getting started. This kid's 28 years old. Floyd can say what he wants about Conor, but even other fighters have to respect him. He's special. Floyd's never even come close to doing to other fighters what Conor does."
White says he will give Floyd props for what he's done -- but Conor's the future. Period.
