The radio DJ accused of grabbing Taylor Swift's bare ass thinks the photo at the center of the case will only help him in court.
David Mueller's legal team tells TMZ the pic "doesn't prove a thing other than he didn't have his hand underneath her skirt."
As for his awkward hand placement ... we're told Mueller's explanation is he leaned into the shot at the last minute. As we previously reported, Taylor claims he "reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for a photo."
Mueller's attorneys are not sure why Taylor wanted a judge to seal the photo, but now that it's out they feel it shows there was no contact and severely weakens her case.
