The star of the 1993 classic "Rookie of the Year" says he's READY, WILLING AND ABLE to throw out the first pitch at Game 4 of the World Series ... insisting Cubs fans would love it!!
TMZ Sports spoke with Thomas Ian Nicholas -- who played Chicago Cubs fireballer Henry Rowengartner in the flick -- and he's making his pitch to MLB for the pre-game honor at game 4.
Nicholas says he's already got his ticket -- and he's already thrown out a first pitch at a Cubs game this season -- so, he's perfectly qualified to bring the heat at Wrigley.
