Kate Major In Major Trouble Again, Arrested for Cop Attack

Kate Major allegedly assaulted a police officer in a drunken rage.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Kate was doing a kiddie drop Saturday at the Florida home of estranged hubby Michael Lohan when she went to a neighbor's house and came out drunk.

We're told Kate wanted to drive home but Michael wouldn't give her the keys, so she called the cops. Law enforcement tells us when they arrived they attempted to arrest her for drunk and disorderly conduct in public, and that's when she allegedly attacked an officer.

She's currently in the Palm Beach slammer, with some big problems. Kate's on probation for assault, and this could land her in jail for an extended stay.
