Bob Saget's definitive all-time favorite clip from his time hosting "America's Funniest Home Videos" is highly controversial ... although not by today's standards.

Bob was inside the Loews Hotel in Hollywood when he confessed to being a sucker for the vid of a monkey falling out of a tree from the smell of his own butt.

As much as he loved the now classic clip, Bob explained why it wasn't seen on any other TV show -- even during a famous late night program -- for the longest time. In his eyes, something stinks about the monkey butt coverage.
