Shaun White Says Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Is Bogus, Accuser Wants Headlines
Shaun White Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Is Bogus ... Accuser Wants Headlines
Shaun White has fired back in his sexual harassment case -- claiming his accuser (a former bandmate) is full of crap and just looking to grab a few headlines.
TMZ Sports broke the story ... the X Games legend is being sued by Lena Zawaideh -- the ex-drummer in his band, Bad Things -- who claims White subjected her to a barrage of graphic sexual harassment, some of which was captured in text messages.
Among the allegations, Zawaideh claims White sent her sexually explicit and graphic images of "engorged and erect penises" and forced her to watch sexually disturbing videos "including videos sexualizing human fecal matter."
Now, White has filed new court docs asking the judge to throw the case out -- claiming the suit has "absolutely no merit."
In the suit, White says Zawaideh "does not have a legitimate claim for sexual harassment, a claim she belatedly asserted for the sole purpose of making misleading headlines."
White says the last allegedly inappropriate text was sent in 2014 -- but she filed the suit in 2016 -- and White says that means some of her claims are too late to sue over.
