Michael Jordan Charlotte's Gotta Come Together We Need To 'Restore Calm'
Michael Jordan says Charlotte must COME TOGETHER in a PEACEFUL, and NON-VIOLENT way ... in the wake of the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott ... and the protests that have followed.
Jordan -- who starred at UNC, and is now the owner of the Charlotte Hornets -- released a statement through the team offering condolences to Scott's family and imploring the community of Charlotte to "restore calm."
“In light of the tragic events of the past three days, it is more important than ever that we restore calm and come together, as a community, in peaceful demonstration and conversation, and in constructive and non-violent ways."
MJ went on to say the Hornets are "committed to working with civil leaders, our elected leaders and law enforcement to foster more trust, transparency and understanding so we can heal and grow together as a community.”
