USC's Osa Masina Charged with Rape, Forcible Sodomy
USC Linebacker Osa Masina Charged with Rape, Forcible Sodomy (Update: Arrested)
10:18 AM PT -- Masina has surrendered to authorities in Utah and is in custody ... according to Orange County Register's Joey Kaufman.
Masina is currently being booked.
USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with 1 count of rape in Utah ... stemming from an alleged incident back in July ... this according to the Cottonwood Heights PD.
TMZ Sports broke the story ... a 19-year-old woman claims she was boozing and using marijuana with Masina in Utah on July 25th and passed out ... only to awake with the linebacker on top of her engaging in anal sex.
According to the charging documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman claims she passed out again ... and woke up to Masina "thrusting his erect penis into her mouth."
The woman claims the forced oral sex was so violent, he damaged porcelain crowns on her back teeth.
The woman says she woke up the next morning in pain and went to police, and a rape kit was administered.
Now, officials have hit Masina with 3 felonies -- 1 count of rape and 2 counts of forcible sodomy.
An arrest warrant has been issued and bail has been set at $250,000 -- officials believe he's a possible flight risk.
They also believe Masina could be a danger to others -- due to the allegations against him in Los Angeles.
As we previously reported, the woman claims Masina and his USC teammate, Don Hill, raped her during another incident in L.A. earlier in the month. Officials have not charged either player in that particular case.
Both Masina and Hill have been removed from the USC football team.
