Colin Kaepernick decided to put his 'fro on hold Monday night while the 49ers took on the Rams -- and broke out a brand new hairstyle ... cornrows!

CK's dome has gone through all sorts of changes since he came into the league -- he's like the black Tom Brady ... only without the Super Bowl rings.
