Shaq Comes Back At Shaunie O'Neal, Says Their Kids Are NBA Locks

Shaq and Shaunie O'Neal are proving the best fights come AFTER marriage ... 'cause the big fella is DOUBLING DOWN on his NBA prediction for their sons ... despite the objections of mama.

A little backstory ... we got Shaq out last week, and he guaranteed us BOTH his 16-year-old son, Shareef, and his 13-year-old brother, Shaqir, would make the NBA one day.

Awesome dad pride ... but when we got Shaunie, the mama of the bunch, out earlier this week ... she said Shaq needed to slow his very large roll 'cause that's too much pressure for teenagers.

So when we got Shaq out in NYC recently and asked him if he'd changed his mind on the whole thing, the Diesel had two choices ... back it up ... or back out.

He actually chose option #3 ... GO EVEN HARDER.
