As TMZ reported ... Central Casting put the call out for "gang member types" for the upcoming CBS adaptation of the movie "Training Day" ... and more than a few OGs answered the call.
Check out the vid ... the wannabe actors were NOT offended with CC's call ... if anything, they embraced it.
As one homie put it ... all he had to do was tie his shoes!
