Rich Homie Quan has just dug a hole to China ... because he's now blaming a malfunctioning teleprompter for his now infamous performance at VH1's "Hip Hop Honors."
RHQ says he went blank during the song "Get Money" because the prompter wasn't rolling properly. This is what he says were the "technical difficulties."
Here's the thing ... the rap community is unforgiving that one of its own didn't commit "Get Money" to memory ... even West Coasters.
