2016 ESPYs -- Huge Stars, Hot Bodies ... And See-Through Dresses (PHOTO GALLERY + VIDEOS)

It's supposed to be about the athletes ... but Gabrielle Union is stealing the damn show from Dwyane Wade at the ESPYs ... showing up in a see-through dress ... and she looks goooooooood.

The stars are all arriving on the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. -- including host John Cena, Richard Sherman, Lindsey Vonn (wow!) ... and Craig Sager, who's crushing it a signature ugly jacket.

Sidenote, Jordan Clarkson arrived solo ... no Kendall Jenner, despite the fact they've been dating on the D.L. for several months.
