Michael Jordan's lawyers can stand down ... 'cause ScHoolboy Q says he's NOT using the famous Crying Jordan meme as the cover art for his new album.
FYI, Jordan is fiercely protective of his image -- so, when Q dropped the album art on Twitter Wednesday -- everyone wanted to know if he somehow managed to get MJ's blessing.
Well, Q just appeared on "TMZ Live" -- and didn't clear the whole situation up ... but revealed the REAL cover art for his upcoming album "Blank Face LP."
