Christina Grimmie Murder Makes Rockers Think Twice ... Gig Cancelled

The rock group Filter cancelled their Monday night concert in Sweden after individual band members received death threats ... and we're told Christina Grimmie's slaying was fresh in their minds.

Filter was scheduled to play in Goteborg, but called it off just hours before taking the stage. A rep for the band says the threats -- sent electronically -- weren't taken lightly. We're told the threats mentioned specific members, as well as the venue.

The rep says the murder of Grimmie during a post-show meet and greet, and the Pulse Nightclub mass shooting played factors in Filter's response.

They also have a show scheduled Tuesday in Stockholm. As of now, that's still a go.
