'Simpsons' Creator Matt Groening: I Need to Change the Script on Trump (VIDEO)

Simpsons creator Matt Groening is eating the words he wrote, telling our photog even though the show has an uncanny ability to predict the future ... he doesn't think Donald Trump will be President.

We got Matt Saturday at LAX, and he acknowledged the show has been like a crystal ball, predicting the Ebola outbreak, the mauling of Roy from Siegfried and Roy, and the horse meat scandal.

The show predicted back in 2000 Trump would be elected Prez.

Matt's now trying to re-write history that hasn't yet been written.
