Calvin Harris Cancels 'Hangout Festival' Gig After Car Wreck
Calvin Harris just cancelled his performance at "Hangout Fest" due to injuries he suffered from a reckless driver who plowed into an SUV he was riding in Friday night.
A rep for the DJ tells TMZ Calvin pulled the plug on the show after "he was examined by doctors and sustained minor injuries" in the crash. The Alabama music fest had Calvin slated as Saturday night's headliner.
TMZ broke the story ... Harris was hospitalized Friday night after a VW bug driven by a 16-year-old girl crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle. We're told the crash was so intense, one girl in the VW was ejected.
As we reported, Harris' injuries were bad enough that he had to be transported to a Burbank hospital. Law enforcement sources told us he asked for a private room and when the staff said one was not available he got off the gurney and left the ER against medical advice.
It's the second show Calvin's had to cancel because of the crash ... he was scheduled to perform Friday night in Vegas too.
