NFL's Jevon Kearse Rookie's Mom Called Coach ... After $50k Rookie Dinner
A former NFL 1st round draft pick's mother was SO PISSED after her son was forced to throw down $50,000 at a rookie hazing dinner, she called the head coach to complain ... so says Jevon Kearse.
Kearse says the legendary meal went down in 2006 -- right after the Philadelphia Eagles signed 14th overall pick Brodrick Bunkley to a 6-year $12.7 million contract ($10 mil guaranteed).
Jevon says the guys went to town on expensive wine and steak -- and when Bunkley's mom found out, she personally called Andy Reid to try to get the money back.
So, did the players chip in to reimburse Bunkley?
"No, all that money was digested."
You gotta watch the clip ... Kearse also reveals how much he had to shell out during his rookie dinner in 1999.
It's a good thing these guys are rich.
