Harrison Ford: Phony Arrest Planted on Police Blotter

Harrison Ford has been fingered for a crime he didn't commit, and cops are trying to find out who set him up ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Huntington Beach PD Arrest Log -- a 73-year-old Harrison Ford was arrested Thursday at noon for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse and possession of a controlled substance.

Problem is ... cops have no record, outside of the online entry, of the actor -- or any other Harrison Ford -- getting busted. BTW, sources close to Ford tell us he's not even in the country right now.

The suspicious arrest log is also weird because the "Case ID" doesn't match the numerical pattern of other listed cases.

Cops tell us they're working to get to the bottom of the bogus record. But to be clear ... Indiana Jones/Han Solo was NOT arrested.

Harrison's gotta be used to this kinda frame job though. Y'know, after that whole One-Armed Man mess ...
