Draymond Green CHP Not Investigating 118 mph Video ... Here's Why
Seems Draymond Green is off the hook for that whole 118 mph video -- with the California Highway Patrol telling us "We can’t investigate an infraction that wasn’t committed in our presence."
As we previously reported, Green posted a video of a car hitting 118 mph on a NorCal highway on his Snapchat ... and in what might have been a confession, he later called the whole thing "bad judgment."
We spoke with the California Highway Patrol to find out if they're investigating the situation and they told us straight up -- no.
"The CHP is not investigating this video because it’s not at the level of reckless driving," CHP public information officer Daniel Hill tells us.
"Driving over 100, though dangerous, is not necessarily reckless. It would just be an infraction and we can’t investigate an infraction that wasn’t committed in our presence."
Hill adds, "However, we advocate people not to drive that fast. We definitely don’t want people driving like that or videoing themselves and we definitely don’t want people posting it on social media."
