Floyd Mayweather Blown Away By 15-Year-Old Fighter ... We'll Sign Him!
Floyd Mayweather stopped a media tour dead in its tracks to shout-out a 15-year-old prodigy who's taking the boxing world by storm ... and Floyd says he could be the next Money Team fighter!
Mayweather was at the W Hotel in D.C. when he noticed Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson in the crowd ... and stopped an interview to call out the kid.
"I see it, that kid can fight!"
Turns out, his instincts were right ... Truck reportedly has a 145-2 record as an amateur and has SIX National Silver Gloves titles under his belt.
In the clip, Floyd said he wants to sign Truck "when he gets a little older" -- explaining, "Everything takes time. We ain't worry about that. We'll get there."
Afterward, Mayweather issued a statement to TMZ Sports saying, "[Truck] is a great amateur fighter. His is only 15 right now but I look forward to working with him when he turns 18."
