Mischa Barton -- Volkswagen Gunning For Its Car Back

Mischa Barton is back in the doghouse with another car company -- this time Volkswagen's making her a target.

VW filed a case against the actress claiming she leased one of the company's whips and stopped making payments. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, VW says the damages exceed $25k, but the exact number is unclear ... so VW wants the car and its money back.

This isn't the first time Mischa's had money problems -- she allegedly bailed on payments for an Audi Q3 and had issues with her mom too.

Lucky for Mischa, L.A.'s improving it's public transportation!
