LeBron James took a family approach to the holidays -- doing New Year's in Aspen with his mom and her rapping bf.
King James mugged for cameras in the frou-frou mountain town over the weekend. LBJ and his wife, Savannah double dated with mama Gloria and Da Real Lambo.
The last time we saw the whole fam together ... they were chillin' in Hawaii.
They must've been daydreaming about that vacay, 'cause high temps in Aspen over the weekend were hovering around 20 -- which is actually balmy by Cleveland standards.
