Chris Paul and Kevin Hart are in the holiday spirit -- sending 300 kids on a $100 toy shopping spree ... but there was one big rule everyone had to follow!

It all went down at a Target store in L.A. -- where the two were hosting their 2nd annual Holiday Takeover event ... to benefit kids from several L.A. youth organizations including the Brotherhood Crusade and the Boys & Girls Club.
