Ty Lawson Pleads No Contest to L.A. DUI ... Gets 4 Years Probation
Houston Rockets star Ty Lawson will NOT go to jail for his 2nd DUI this year -- getting 4 years probation after entering a "no contest" plea in his L.A. court case.
TMZ Sports broke the story ... Lawson was arrested in L.A. on July 14th after cops say he was wasted and speeding down the 101 Freeway at 2:30 AM.
Lawson had previously been arrested for DUI in Colorado back in January.
Now, we've learned Lawson's attorney entered the no contest plea Friday -- and he'll get 4 years summary probation as punishment.
As for the Colorado case, Lawson has already pled guilty to DWI and failure to drive in a single lane -- and will be sentenced in January.
Lawson has been suspended by the NBA for 2 games based on the guilty plea in Colorado -- unclear if he'll face more discipline for the situation in L.A.
The legal issues haven't prevented Lawson from hitting the club scene -- we spotted him hanging out in front of Warwick nightclub in L.A. earlier this week.
