Nickelback's Chad Kroeger Sued: You Went Silent About Gnarly Throat Condition
Nickelback's Chad Kroeger Sued You Went Silent About Gnarly Throat Condition
Lloyd's of London filed a lawsuit against Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger, saying he failed to disclose a preexisting condition in his throat.
Nickelback canceled more than 60 concerts over the summer during their international tour because Kroeger had a cyst on his vocal chords that kept him from performing.
Kroeger got surgery to remove the cyst in July, and filed a $13 million claim with the band's insurance company to cover losses for canceled concerts.
But according to docs, the insurance company says he had the condition before Nickelback got its Lloyd's of London policy ... and Chad never told them about it.
Lloyd's is suing to cancel the policy.
