David Justice -- I Never Hit Halle Berry ... She Ruins Her Exes

11:32 A.M. PST -- Apparently Eric Benet agrees with David ... he just tweeted, "My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis' mornin'!"

David Justice says he NEVER laid a finger on his ex-wife Halle Berry -- and essentially blames her for starting rumors that he abused her ... claiming she made it a mission to destroy his character after they broke up.

Justice -- who was married to Halle from '92 to '97 -- went off on Twitter ... saying he's been WRONGLY misidentified as the "famous former boyfriend" who attacked her in the past.

The ex-MLB star goes on to defend himself ... while issuing a warning to Halle's estranged husband Olivier Martinez that her "Hollywood Team" will try to destroy him ... like they do to all of Halle's exes.

Justice starts ... "[Halle] was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character.It had to be my fault,right?"

"Yup..Me,Eric,Gabriel and Olivier were all her 'Knight in Shining Armor',until it ends..Then we all become the worst guys in history."
