Jared Leto -- Hollywood Hills Halloween Party Pisses Off Neighbors

Jared Leto might not be invited to the next neighborhood pot-luck ... he pissed off a bunch of his neighbors Friday night by throwing a big Halloween party.

One of Leto's Laurel Canyon neighbors took to the neighborhood Facebook page, saying, "Perhaps you could educate all the people coming to your place the proper etiquette of driving uphill/downhill so as to not wreak havoc ... your guests should respect the residents and not park on the wrong side!"

Another neighbor on the page took a shot at Leto for being a "d" and not getting his guests a shuttle service.

But other neighbors defended Jared, telling everyone to chill out ... they were complaining about a party at 10:30 the night before Halloween. The neighborhood matters ... Jared lives in Laurel Canyon, a famous area populated by musicians and loud parties have been thrown there for decades.

We spoke with law enforcement who tell us they never got a call about the party ... maybe the neighbors decided to join -- smart move.
