Lamar Odom: Sheriff Recommends Felony Coke Charge
Lamar Odom Sheriff Recommends Prosecution for Coke
Lamar Odom could be staring down criminal charges soon -- his case is about to be turned over to the D.A., and the Sheriff suggests he should be prosecuted for felony drug use.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Nye County Sheriff's Department will send Lamar's blood test to the District Attorney on Tuesday. The felony charge would be for using cocaine while at the Love Ranch South.
However -- as TMZ reported -- even if he's prosecuted Lamar probably won't do time. In Nevada, the felony charge is punishable by up to 4 years in prison. But usually not for first time offenders, like Lamar.
