Tim Tebow may be on to something with that whole "No sex before marriage" thing ... 'cause Terry Crews says he also holstered his wang before his wedding -- and it was the best move he ever made.
We were talking abstinence with the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star outside of Craig's in West Hollywood Tuesday night ... specifically, Tebow's vow to stay a virgin until he ties the knot.
That's when Crews backed up Tebow's strategy ... saying, "Having sex before you're married is a bad idea."
"I've been married for 26 years ... we didn't [have sex] ... and that's why I'm still married."
Ya gotta watch the clip ... Crews (who also spent some time in the NFL) goes into detail about why a pre-wedding bang ban is the way to go ... pretty funny stuff.
