Chris Paul tells TMZ Sports he doesn't know if Doc Rivers and Mark Cuban will ever be able to bury the hatchet -- but says one thing's for sure ... they're too busy to be beefin' in the first place.
Paul was doing some shopping at Barney's in Beverly Hills -- when we asked about the war between his Clippers head coach ... and the Dallas Mavericks honcho.
FYI -- Rivers and Cuban have been taking some not so subtle digs at each other in the media ... with Cuban ripping Doc for the way he went after DeAndre Jordan ... and Doc saying Cuban is "smoke and mirrors."
CP3 tries to play down the feud -- but let's get real, it doesn't seem Paul is convinced the two will be breaking bread any time soon.
