Shareef O'Neal's biology DOES bother him ... 'cause his dad Shaq totally crashed his moment in the spotlight, but it was all in the name of fatherly love.
We were at The Grove in L.A. when we ran into Shareef (hard to miss the kid at 6'8) and asked him some questions about the life of a 16-year-old sports phenom.
That's when Shareef's mom Shaunie alerted our camera guy that a certain 7'2, 300 and whatever pound guy wanted to make sure all of our questions were up to snuff.
Check it out -- our guy is trying to get Shaq's stamp of approval is just as entertaining as Shareef.
