As if finishing a strenuous Malibu triathlon wasn't hard enough ... Victor Ortiz threw a few fast jabs at the competition while he crossed the finish line Sunday afternoon.

Even though the welterweight champ didn't lead the pack across the line ... the boxing badass fought back fatigue from the late summer heat with his flared finish.
