Trump just took on some NFL questions during an #AskTrump video Q&A with fans -- and one of the issues at hand ... the Dallas Cowboys.

With Tony Romo out with a broken collarbone ... people wanted to know how Trump felt about Dallas' playoff chances.

His response wasn't anything spectacular ... he likes Romo, they're personal friends, the injury is bad for the team ... but he pulled off an EXCELLENT pivot move to bring up Tom Brady.
